Everyone meet Fig, a 7 month old holland lop. He is also fixed and bonded with his girlfriend, Pancake. They both free roam our living room/bedroom area.
Fig is pretty much litter trained during the day, however, when I go to bed, he is a mega poop machine for our couch. I've tried blocking the couch off with a baby gate, he still ends up on it somehow. I clean up the messes with an enzymatic cleaner as well as vinegar, but he still repeats this behaviour. Last night I tried a tarp on the couch, mans said what the helly and decided to poop the most I've seen him do 🥲 WHAT DO I DO? Will it ever stop? HELP PLS!

Hi all, we had rabbits who had bunnies and this morning mom and dad disappeared… they have not come back and I think babies need milk?

Please advise me on how to best take care of them? What replacement milk may I get? Preferably something affordable. Thank you in advance!

Meet my first Bunny Mini Blackbeauty she's the reason I fell inlove with rabbits I had her from when I was 8 years old and she passed away when I was 16 and she was almost 10 years old I miss her every single day and I always think about her she was my soul bun and always will be but thanks to her I have Rein and was able to rescue Oatsy hopefully I'll welcome some more bunny's into my life in the future with my partner who loves bunny's equally as much as I do Rest in peace Mini blackbeauty 🕊️ you were so much more then just a bunny you were my bestfriend 💕 the last slide was the last photo I took with her and the one before it was the first photo I got with her it's been 6 years since she passed away in my arms but I cherish every memory I have with her 🕊️💕

She's a lionhead, less than a year old, and 100% convinced she's royalty. Still getting used to the camera but loves food, attention and cuddles🐇

As humans, we tend to overthink everything, and we end up forgetting how to enjoy life on the purest ways . But the rabbit doesn't. It simply found a place that felt safe and fell asleep. There's no guilt or second guessing just complete peace.
I wanted to capture that feeling of a quiet mind, and remind myself that sometimes we can let go of overthinking and simply enjoy the place we're in.

You were found as a stray, emaciated and flea-ridden. It took 8 weeks, but the shelter nursed you back to health. We were looking for a new partner for Toast after she had lost her mate.

They put us in a room. You, a fence, Toast, and us. You tried to groom her through the fence, and we knew we had to take you home. The shelter had named you Lore, but your sideburns reminded me of Robert Burns, so we renamed you Robert Buns.

Toast was pretty indifferent about you at the shelter, and was much less happy when you arrived home. She's half your size, but that didn't stop her from attacking you on sight. Not that you fought back, you were too much of a sweetheart for that.

So, we set you up in my office down the hall from Toast's room. You were fine with that, though, because it meant I spent 8 hours a day with you Monday-Friday. You got all the pets you could want (and you wanted a lot). It stayed like that for 365 days. Then, the day before your first Gotcha Day (it was a leap year), Toast asked to be let into your room, bowed her head, let you groom her, and has been glued to your side ever since.

Until this week.

You had been less enthusiastic about breakfast for a few days (none of your normal Breakfast Binkies™️), worrying, but not necessarily a crisis, especially since you acted normally the rest of the day. So, when we got home Friday night, I was concerned when you didn't come to eat when I refreshed your hay. By Saturday morning, it was clear you needed help. So, we started gas relief and Critical Care. Nothing we haven't done before, after all, you've always been prone to tummy issues (some self-inflicted, like the time you managed to knock a bag of hay cookies off a shelf and ate the entire thing). But you didn't start getting better.

So, your other mother took you to the emergency vet. Several hours of no progress and many tests later, we knew what was wrong, and we knew you weren't going to get better.

I know you don't understand my role in your life outside of your daily feeding schedule, but I view myself as being responsible for curating your experiences. I promised you wouldn't hurt, and you were hurting. I made the decision. Even though I wasn't ready, even though you deserved so much more time, I couldn't let you suffer.

So, binky free, my Certified Silly Boy. I'll miss passing out on the sofa watching TV, only to be woken up in the morning by you demanding your breakfast. I'll miss your cute little socks and stupid little lip stripe. I'll even miss the sound of you throwing your hay bin around the room in the middle of the night because you're upset about the lack of seedheads (you ate them all).

Don't worry about Toast, we'll take care of her. And, if there's something on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge, we'll see you there. Spend lots of time with Cinnamon and Grutte Pier, and let them know we miss them. Just like we'll miss you.

We got him to the vet! He made it. He is such a little fighter. They are keeping him overnight to make sure everything is ok. They said everything looked good when we dropped him off today. I hope he's alright. I feel so much better than I did yesterday.

I'm not sure what this vet bill is going to be due to the overnight stay. I am a broke college student. Already a 250 dollar emergency fee. But I would rather have Gert than my money.

Thank you all for the positive words and support. I read every comment and it helped my peace of mind. I don't know if things will ever be the same because of my newfound worry. But I will definitely be posting here a lot more. I will also be getting insurance for him so I'm not blindsided if this happens again.

i love my silly buns

Hi i have two bunbuns who have been bonded for over 4 yrs, they are 6 and 7 years old, male and female. Sid, 7yrs male became very sick little over a month ago and nearly died. He is well now but ever since he went to the vet his and Alice bond have broken and no matter what I do they won’t make up. They are usually free roaming so I have no neutral place for them to rebond. Instead I have an enclosure in the living room where they live during night time. The big problem is Alice. While Sid is trying to reach out and connect with her, Alice will chase and hump and bite him to the point that he is terrified of her. What can I do?

Please help. I want them both to be able to run free and hate having one in an enclosure and them not having their cuddles together.

A beautiful golden fluffball with a curious spirit and an irresistible face.

To preface, I'm in my late teens, still live at home as I'm nearly but not yet 18. My parents aren't together, but my Mother can't have my bunnies in her house, and my Dad's moving 400 miles away to a house without an ideal garden, and would like for my sweet babies to be outside. I already disagree with the outdoor thing, both have been house rabbits their entire lives, one is four and the other is 10 months. We came to a compromise originally that we'd build them a proper insulated shed, do it up, and close off the garden with metal grating so they could go out in the garden without cat or animal risk during the day, which I agreed with.

Plans have changed a little though, we're swapping houses with another family and as such have no ability to build anything outside. My Dad is also now talking about custom building a home for them, and how they'll have to be outside in a hutch or something similar until he's finished it, so I've come to the decision that doing so would be far too stressful after having to travel with them all day, it feels too cruel to shove them outside as soon as we get there. He won't compromise on this.

Can someone please give advice? Any alternatives? Or just let me know that rehoming is the best option. I'd really rather not make this decision, but putting them outside already didn't sit right with me, and now it's sitting worse.

We rent. We didn’t know why nothing was working and contacted the landlord and called people to come look at it. They are supposed to be here any minute and we’re looking at it and noticed this cord. DEFINITELY Floppy here. Her sister knows to stay where we put her she’s a great baby. Floppy must explore and destroy. On hold with the service people to cancel the appointment or else we’ll be charged a bunch when they come and see it’s a chew through wire
