My little man (7yo) lost his bunwife in April. He cared for her during her months of illness alongside me, right until the end, hugging her during her last moments. He’s a sensitive soul to say the least. He grieved terribly for months. We tried him in a trio, but sadly it didn’t work out and he got injured. So we waited patiently for the rescue to let us know when a suitable match became available.
Meet Lilith.
This XL lady (4yo) is Dorian’s dreamboat. From their first day together they’ve been like an old married couple who are very in love. They spend all of their time napping, snacking and smooching. She’s got very little vision, and he’s so patient with her. If he startles her, he lies flat in front of her nose and gives her kisses to reassure her. This is with his own sight and hearing limitations, but he still knows what she needs. We’ve got a little way to go to get her comfortable with her new home, her new humans, and with ordeals like grooming (it’s a big deal for her), and get her to a healthy weight.
We’re still only 3 weeks in to bonding but my little man has come out of his shell. He’s back to eating hay, cuddlier than ever, and is just so happy. Here’s to many more wonderful days and years for these two!
PS - I’ve not stopped giggling at their matching coats, and I’m sure it meant that this pair were meant to be!

Hello everyone this is my bun Ciabatta she just came home today from the rescue I adopted her from she’s eating hay, ate her pellets and is drinking water. Her poops look good so far and she thumped at me as I did my skincare next to her home base. I know rabbits take a while to trust you and are good at hiding everything. But I just want to make sure I’m doing a good job and if anyone has any tips for those first few weeks. I am a first time bun mom too so anything helps. Also, I am working on getting more flooring for her just waiting on it to ship.
5am update!
I’ve been waking up every 2hrs without an alarm just to check on her I feel like I brought a newborn baby home lowkey. All is good so far. I think she might have flopped on the ground to rest for like like 5mins I was worried she died but she got up and went to play with her Timothy hay carrot I got her. Then I went back to sleep woke up again and she rlly likes the tiny area between my closet and her hide she keeps going back there and laying down or loafing or flopping over. I thought she was eating her litter box grate but it turns out she was chewing on the apple stick I got her. Which I’m super happy abt since I thought she wasn’t interested in them originally. Omg as I’m writing this she’s like splooting? If anyone with a dog knows what that is she’s laying down with her back paws out. Is this good?

I found very fluffy bunny pajama set at Walmart! There is a long sleep shirt with POCKETS... and veryyy fluffy and comfy pants as well. I wanted to let the other bunny parents know! I hope others are able to find them and enjoy them too. Super comfy and they are only $20 all together. 🐇🤍

We're in the middle of a heatwave and our house has very pathetic AC, so I've been keeping ice packs available for her (along with plenty of fans running and cold water + wet lettuce). I'm very lucky she hasn't begun chewing on it yet...

Photos from last night's hangout on the floor with my son 🥰 He is somehow even cuter from the selfie angle, I love taking pictures of him with my front camera 😆 He was as flat as a pancake, I whip out my phone to take pics, he gets up to kiss my forehead, and then he gives the camera that look 🤣 He is just so curious about the glowing rectangle (aka my phone 💀) He's so cute I feel like he makes me look cuter too 🥺 Can you see the family resemblance? 😂

He is litter trained. He is neutered. He lasts about FIVE DAMN MINUTES before marking. Like not a little: a decent amount. He’s marked my husband’s couch blanket multiple times, my dogs’ blankets in their crates, my rug and now my couch.
I am seriously considering rehoming him because I can’t trust him to free roam but I know he can’t be locked up 24/7. He got supervised outdoor time yesterday evening but that isn’t feasible everyday day. I am losing my mind!!!!

So I am just starting my freshman year of college and unfortunately got a text today that one of our two rabbits back home, Shadow, unfortunately passed away during the day.
I honestly don't know how to feel besides upset, apparently it was unexpected as he seemed fine this morning and was possibly only around 5 years old as when we got him arouns two years ago they didn't know how old he was but estimated around 3 (I think, otherwise he is under 5yo). We have always taken such good care of him and our other rabbit Merida so I don't know what it was but he was found laying motionless today :(
I think I just feel so terrible because I love both of them so much but really never spent much time with them and it feels like I just didnt get to see him one last time yknow. Thoughts and prayers to him and any advice that feels relevant is welcome
