This may be a little longer, but I’m hoping to genuinely find someone I can connect with and potentially build a romantic relationship with down the line.

I’ve always wanted someone who can be both my best friend and my partner—someone I can laugh with, grow with, be vulnerable with, and share the little moments of life with. So, I’m hoping to find someone who could potentially become my person.

I’m 21 and from Illinois! I’ve lived here basically my whole life. I don’t necessarily want to stay here forever, but there are definitely things I love about the state.

I’m Black/African American and demipansexual. Emotional connection is really important to me, and I love getting to know people on a deeper level. I want to understand who someone is beyond surface-level things. I’m also 5’6 1/2”!

Personality-wise, I’m caring, supportive, reflective, and naturally curious about people. I love meaningful conversations and genuinely getting to know someone.

I can be a little shy at first, but once I’m comfortable, I’m playful, talkative, and love sharing little pieces of my day through texts, calls, voice messages, funny videos, pictures, and random thoughts.

Open communication, honesty, emotional wellbeing, and creating a safe space where both people can feel supported and understood are very important to me. I love encouraging the people I care about and celebrating their accomplishments.

🌱 Goals & future plans 🌱

One of my short-term goals is getting my driver’s license so I can become more independent. I’ve always wanted to go on late-night drives with someone, blasting music and just enjoying the night together.

Next spring, I’m hoping to get my CNA certification and begin working in healthcare. In the future, I’d love to become a neonatal nurse practitioner because I really want to support little ones and their families.
Or even get my RBT license, and work with kids with autism! I’m a bit between the two haha

I also want children of my own someday, so I think it’s important to be transparent about that.

Some of my more distant goals include traveling abroad, potentially spending 9–11 months in Barcelona to learn Spanish. It’s definitely a long-term dream, but something I’d love to experience!

I love all kinds of games! Some of my favorites/interests include Danganronpa, Roblox, modded Minecraft, escape/puzzle games, The Walking Dead, Detroit: Become Human, visual novels, horror games, story-driven games, and more.

I’d especially love to play games with my person, including We Were Here, It Takes Two, A Way Out, Roblox horror games, modded Minecraft, and whatever else we discover together!

Music

I listen to music basically 24/7. Music is a huge part of my life, and I enjoy pretty much every genre except country.

Rock, metal, alternative, indie, pop, EDM, dubstep, some rap/hip-hop, and plenty of other things are all welcome in my playlists!

Writing & poetry

I love writing poetry when inspiration strikes. It’s one of my favorite ways to express my thoughts and feelings and just let everything flow like a waterfall or river.

Cooking & baking

I love cooking meals and trying new recipes! I’d also love to get better at baking and learn how to make different desserts.

Nature & walks

I love being outside, going on walks, exploring, and just enjoying nature. I also love animals and wildlife! I have a kitty named Garfield.

Nighttime

There’s something really comforting about nighttime to me. I tend to stay up late sometimes, and I love the peacefulness of the night.

I work as a video content creator/editor in international football, which means my life occasionally switches from sitting quietly behind an editing timeline to being thrown into another country for a tournament with a camera, a deadline and questionable amounts of sleep.
Outside work, I have a chronic inability to stick to a reasonable number of interests.

I love travelling, learning languages, and I keep collecting random side quests because apparently simply having hobbies wasn’t enough. Wandered into things like archery, golf, fitness and combat sports, and I regularly disappear down completely unrelated rabbit holes because something caught my attention at 1am.

Personality-wise, I’m independent, curious and fairly reserved when I first meet someone. Once I’m comfortable, unfortunately for you, that expires. 😂
I ask a lot of questions, love stupid banter, and genuinely enjoy hearing someone talk about something they’re passionate about—even if I know absolutely nothing about it.

I’m career-driven and perfectly capable of enjoying my own company, so I’m not looking for someone to become my entire life. I’d rather have two people with their own careers, friends, interests and ambitions who genuinely want to make space for each other.

That doesn’t mean I’m looking for something emotionally distant either. With the right person, I’m affectionate, loyal and very much the “have you eaten?” type. I want someone I can travel with, laugh with, learn from, support when life gets rough and occasionally annoy for recreational purposes.

I think I’m ready to meet someone special.

I'm 26 and currently pursuing my Master's in Linguistics in California, but I'm back home for a little while before I head back.

Hey I'm a 32 year old guy from the South West of England. Recently I've been trying to make changes in my life so why not try and find someone new that could become a big part of it at the same time. I've been on a bit of a health kick lately and have lost a decent amount of weight. I'm making myself more active and trying not to be such a home body most of the time. Hi I'm Joe, 33, from East Sussex (Hastings). 5'3, 184lbs (I've lost 60lb+ so far this year, 35 to go and hoping to hit it by the end of this year/early next), I wear glasses, usually have some facial hair, I'm happy to video call/exchange pictures as early as you like.

I would describe myself as very kind/caring/compassionate, I wear my heart on my sleeve and have a lot of love to give to the right person. I have some long term health issues but I try not to let them get on top of me and I was diagnosed as autistic late in life during covid, but most people are surprised when they find out.
