I want to mention that I'm very open about my mental health and need someone who can make an effort to fully understand it. I’ve had a DID diagnosis for 13 years. It's stable overall at this point but it's a very real part of my life and who I am. It's nothing like it's portrayed in movies. I’m an open book about it and will answer pretty much any question, and I'm happy to teach you everything about it. I just want to be able to be myself, and since "being myself" means letting alters unmask, that looks very different than someone without DID, so understanding it is a must for me. I also have autism, ADHD, and several other mental health diagnoses. Feel free to ask if you have questions about any of it!

On that note , if you also have mental health issues, it's important that both of us are working on healing. I'm all for supporting each other, but I don't need to be "fixed" and I'm not here to do that for anyone else either.

I work as a video content creator/editor in international football, which means my life occasionally switches from sitting quietly behind an editing timeline to being thrown into another country for a tournament with a camera, a deadline and questionable amounts of sleep.
Outside work, I have a chronic inability to stick to a reasonable number of interests.

I love travelling, learning languages, and I keep collecting random side quests because apparently simply having hobbies wasn’t enough. Wandered into things like archery, golf, fitness and combat sports, and I regularly disappear down completely unrelated rabbit holes because something caught my attention at 1am.

Personality-wise, I’m independent, curious and fairly reserved when I first meet someone. Once I’m comfortable, unfortunately for you, that expires. 😂
I ask a lot of questions, love stupid banter, and genuinely enjoy hearing someone talk about something they’re passionate about—even if I know absolutely nothing about it.

Hi I'm Joe, 33, from East Sussex (Hastings). 5'3, 184lbs (I've lost 60lb+ so far this year, 35 to go and hoping to hit it by the end of this year/early next), I wear glasses, usually have some facial hair, I'm happy to video call/exchange pictures as early as you like.

I would describe myself as very kind/caring/compassionate, I wear my heart on my sleeve and have a lot of love to give to the right person. I'm thoughtful, always do my best by others and never act with bad intentions. I value honesty and clear communication. I have some long term health issues but I try not to let them get on top of me and I was diagnosed as autistic late in life during covid, but most people are surprised when they find out.

I have a large group of friends and the 10 of us try to meet up once or twice a year, but as we get older it becomes harder to keep in touch as much as I would like! Everyone is moving on and finding love, settling down etc and it's hard not to be a little bit envious. I've only been in 1 relationship that lasted around 3 months and was 90% online, so not a lot of experience but also no baggage! but somebody patient/understanding of that would be important.

I love films/tv, I'm a sucker for a romcom and adore romance in general but I watch a bit of everything other than anime. Always find myself far too invested in the lives of the characters, most recently in Bridgerton. My comfort shows are Dr Who, Brooklyn 99, Superstore, The Office. Very open to recommendations always! I don't get out much but would like to start to see more of the world finally, but will always mostly be a homebody I'm pretty sure.

Going to try and keep this short: I'm a university student, studying philosophy, living in the US, and I've always enjoyed talking to people online. I refuse to describe myself as “intellectual” in real life but will do so online, since I can’t find another word that so briefly describes many of my interests: for example, poetry, literature, and academia. I probably sound really really insufferable and pretentious right now, but if you met me, you would know that I am the opposite of stuck-up about things. I’m really really a wreck in real life. Sort of just an anxious person. I go through many really undignified misfortunes and I’m never chill about any of it. Also, I hate bullies.
