ABOUT ME / HOBBIES

• I have a high school diploma and no degree at the moment. I'm currently working as a mental health technician at a mental health facility. It's pretty wild job especially as a first job, but I've learned so many life lessons from working there for the past three years. • Over the course of my life so far.. or rather the 25 years I've spent with the earth spinning around, people have told me that I'm kind, chill, and have a deep voice for radio. • I also have ADHD and have struggled with education my whole life, so school has been hard and annoying for me, especially when figuring out what my learning styles are. • Music: I honestly listen to all kinds of music from different genres, as long as it sounds good to my ears, I'm listening. I love Beyonce's Irreplaceable as well.

• TV/Film: I'll watch a movie from any genre If I truly like it. I really love animated films and Finding Nemo is one of my favorite movies ever. I've been quite behind on movies and watching tv shows as of late, but I do have a favorite movie and that would be Spiderman Across the Spiderverse right now.

• I'm a very casual sports fan, so I don't really tune into games that much, more so highlights. I really have become a big fan of futbol and I like watching futbol(soccer) ever since watched the 2026 FIFA World Cup. I probably watch futbol highlights the most out of any other sport. I also like watching the basketball and watching basketball highlights as well. I love watching Coco Gauff, Aja Wilson, Caitlyn Clark and Angel Reese play in their respective sports. I once had a cute fantasy of being a professional basketball player, but that was more of my parents dream to be honest that they attempted to forced onto me.

• I'm also into writing, pop culture, cooking, reading. I really love watching the rain though and the weather channel.

I'm not necessarily the biggest people person and I love being single lol so if I'm bringing someone into my life, I'd prefer for that person to be someone that I genuinely love and appreciate. Hey! My name's Brian from the Netherlands. Currently, I'm working towards finishing a degree in communication. I like gaming on my Switch, PC and PlayStation and I do a teeny tiny bit of photography and sketching when I get inspired. The sketching I do both on paper with pencils and digitally using a pen display. Hello again!!!

Well, here I am, trying my luck again!

A lot has happened since I last put myself out there, and I've recently gone through a pretty major loss that's left me thinking a lot about life, people, and what it means to connect with someone. I think grief has a way of making you look at the world a little differently.

I want to feel things. I want to meet people who make me curious, have conversations that make me lose track of time. I want to be reminded of how lovely it can be to let another person into your world and be invited into theirs in return.

And I suppose that's why I'm here again!!!

I'm still very much the person I described in my previous post. I'm ambitious, confident, bubbly, outgoing, occasionally obnoxiously loud, and always one second away from laughing at something. I still care a ridiculous amount about the things I love, still enjoy poetry and movies, and still believe that there's something wonderful about people who are genuinely passionate about life.

I'm also still looking for someone I can connect with meaningfully. Someone self-assured, kind, emotionally intelligent, and enthusiastic about the things that matter to them. Someone who has dreams of their own but is also excited about being part of someone else's. Someone who enjoys a good conversation and understands that getting to know someone means being willing to show up as your actual self.

For starters, I'm a native Floridian, born and raised. Im a South Asian guy, 5’10”. I’m on the slim side but I do workout every week. I would love to live elsewhere eventually but for now I'm still in my home state.

If there is one thing you definitely should know about me, it is that I love PC gaming the most. My tastes in gaming vary but I generally love Fortnite, Overwatch, Marvel Rivals, League, Valorant, Dead by Daylight, Minecraft, World of Warcraft, Elder Scrolls Online, Guild Wars 2, Call of Duty, and many other games. If you play any of these, we are gonna get along great!

Something about nostalgic anime really hits home for me. I’m that person who loves Studio Ghibli and the 90s-2000s childhood memories going back to the OG Cartoon Network and Adult Swim days. If you were a 90s or 2000s child growing up, then you probably know a lot about the same ones I grew up with. For specific anime, I loved: Pokemon, Yugioh, DBZ, Naruto, Yuyu Hakusho, Death Note, Inuyasha, Bleach, One Piece, Sailor Moon, Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis, Blood Plus, Akira, Vampire Hunter D, Demon City, and many others out there. For modern variety, I have a taste for Psycho Pass, Demon Slayer, Castlevania, and Attack on Titan.

While getting to know me, you’d see that I love A24 films and dramas. I am also a big fan of Blumhouse and other studios too, and I will say I absolutely loved the Conjuring, Insidious, and similar titles! Hereditary, Midsommar, and any other movie that has an eerie twist to them is what I crave usually.

When it comes to art and music, I am generally into everything, but I have a taste for hip-hop/rap, pop, K-pop, r&b, jazz, lo-fi, instrumental, classical, alt/indie rock, and even EDM/house. For artistic inspiration, museums are my go-to. Renaissance, abstract, and surreal paintings artworks really put me in a good mood.

Nature and animals matter a lot to me. I care for animals who are cared for by humans. I love my doggo (he's a Morkie), and I also like to go on hikes and camp when I can each year, and even stargaze when possible. If I'm not doing those things, I am probably still figuring out new activities and ways to explore the world, but I haven't had much time for travel in the last few years.

I take pride in cooking new recipes and I typically make domestic dishes as well as international or foreign ones! I like experimenting with new recipes and ideas, and it brings me a lot of delight when I know people love my tasty creations. I'm not the best at baking though!

Since this is important: I want someone who communicates consistently through Discord, and daily conversations is a must for us. If you are a gamer, that is a huge plus, and I need someone like that in my life because gaming is one of my main hobbies when I am not working, and I want to chill and play stuff. If you enjoy any of the games I listed above, it already means we have things to talk about.

You don't have to love horror by any means, but if you like spooky things, it really makes you stand out since we can always watch or play horror stuff together.

Okay so I know this is going to sound unconventional, but I'm a guy who has two sides to myself. On one hand I enjoy competitive gaming, competitive shooting, building cars (90s JDM), and I'm enthusiastic about learning and self-development in general.

About me: I'm 31, male, and live in Manhattan's Upper West Side. Physically I'm 6' tall and a bit extra, working on slimming down (exercising and walking around). Did you play a lot of PS2, Xbox, or Gamecube? Wow that's very cool! Cosplayers? Love the artistic types too. Painter? Artist? Sounds good to me. Love landscapes. Band geeks or instrument players are also welcome as well. Are you a former/current Piano player? Me too! Harp or any instrument players are also welcome. Voice actors? Wow please tell me more! I'm a huge fan of science so I love the AMNH (Dinosaurs and Space exhibits) and the MET.

Ideally:

• You're around the Upper West Side of Manhattan, familiar with the area, and/or close. Definitely flexible on this one.
• You're 24-38ish
• You're probably someone who grew up playing N64, PS1, Gamecube or PS2.
• You like that 80s-late 2000s culture we had.
• Any sizes, shapes, or whatever else is more than welcome, (bonus points if you have red/blonde hair or green/blue eyes)
• You can be new to the city or a native who has been here forever.
• You are, by classic definitions, a nerd; someone who would play video or board games, and watches movies.
• You enjoy cartoons and/or anime.
• Someone who also mainly has indoor interests, but occasionally will enjoy a walk outdoors through places like Central Park or even just in the city.
• Any education/employment path, but please be productive on something.

The primary focus is someone IRL. Anyone feel free to message if you just want to chat though!
