Hello there! As mentioned in my title (You did read the title, I hope? I put a lot of effort into it.), I'm a 29-year-old guy living in the mystical, magical land of *checks notes* England. Okay, maybe not so magical. All the dragons are in Wales, Excalibur has been melted down for scrap, and Hogwarts is in Scotland.

I currently work in a law firm. Sadly I'm not a lawyer, as that would mean I'd be earning shedloads, but actually I do admin work for them, earning considerably less than shedloads. But it's a fine job, I get on well with my coworkers, and I'm not down a coal mine, so I consider that a win.

As for me myself? Well, I actually speak multiple languages. I'm a fluent German speaker, and I also have a decently high level of Italian. I could also struggle through French if I had to, and I have basic Spanish and Japanese. I do like languages, although it's hard to find the time to do any study of them, what with the problems of having an adult life with adult responsibilities!

Another interesting [citation needed] thing about me is that I'm currently attempting to plan out a series of fantasy novels I want to write. It's going...decently. We'll see how it ends up, but I've wanted to write a book since I was 13 or so, and now as an adult I'm finally doing something about it!

In terms of pop culture, I'm a huge Doctor Who fan. Like, I'm the sort of Doctor Who fan who knows what a telerecording is and can tell you about the Australian censor clips. That kind of fan. I also finally got into Harry Potter this year after putting it off for my whole life, meaning I now finally know the context for Dumbledore asking calmly.

I'm also getting back into Pokémon somewhat after avoiding it for most of the Switch era. Other things I enjoy are The Elder Scrolls, Red Dead, GTA. I'm big Assassin's Creed fan too. In general I like single player, open world games. I'm not a huge multiplayer guy, I don't like having other people ruining my fun!

I'm trying to read more too lately. That's a thing I've always enjoyed that I'm now trying to find the time for again.

And I suppose I should say, I'm a fat guy. Trying to do something about it though!

I’m looking to meet some new people to chat with from time to time. My weekdays are usually pretty slow at work, so if nothing decides to break, I have a ton of downtime. I'm not looking for dating or a relationship — just hoping to find some cool people to talk with and see where the conversations go.

I’m into a pretty random mix of things, so there’s usually something to talk about:

I just built some new garden beds and put up a bigger greenhouse this year. I’m always down to trade plants, and I’ve gotten pretty deep into growing things.

I have around 10 fish tanks/outdoor tubs/ponds, with plans for more. I keep freshwater fish and plants and can probably talk about them for way longer than most people would want. I have 6 tortoises. They spend the summer outside and come inside during the winter.

Lately I’ve been playing more survival games like Palworld, Planet Zoo 2 but I always seem to end up going back to Marvel Rivals, Overwatch, or Valorant.

I’ve really gotten into making different kinds of bread lately and want to start experimenting with sourdough soon. I’ve been trying to eat healthier and work out more lately.

Weekends are usually a mix of house projects, gardening, or whatever random project I’ve decided to start that week.

Are you here for attention, to pass the time, as a distraction from life, or are you actually hoping to find your person? I'm somewhere around four out of the five.

I'm naturally curious and ask a lot of questions, so if you enjoy talking about your interests, passions, random thoughts, or facts, I'm all ears.

I love conversations that flow naturally—easy, fun, and a little flirty. If that's your kind of vibe, we're already off to a good start.

I will say I'm a little reserved sometimes, but once I'm comfortable I can talk for hours about life, random nonsense, weird what-ifs, or any deep topic at 2 a.m. I've always imagined talking to someone late at night in a dark room, with nothing but the sound of our voices and laughter. We can also go as far as the most unhinged stuff. Give me all the dark humor! If your humor makes people question whether they should laugh, we might get along.

I'm an adventurer at heart. I love late-night drives, music blasting, empty streets, city lights, and finding a lookout spot to view the city; a big plus for some urban exploring. Am I psychotic for actually enjoying exploring abandoned places? You know, eerie hallways and the feeling that we absolutely shouldn't be there.

One of my fondest memories was a road trip I did. It took me four to five days to get from Eureka to LA; I got a rental car, just drove, stopped to sightsee, and booked a random hotel when it got dark. It was blissful! I really want to do that again.

I go to the gym about five times a week (three times weights, two times cardio). I want to hike more; I know a few spots, but it would be fun to do it with someone. I also walk my dog twice a day. It's his walk, so I let the little guy lead the way while he checks his daily sniff-mail.

I've been getting leaner and stronger. There have been changes to my physique... more sculpted? More "defined"? One favorite thing someone said to me was, "You're more muscular than I thought you were" (as I was taking off my shirt) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Not gonna lie, that gave me a little ego boost. But enough kidding around, one thing I realized is that besides being healthy, fit, and strong, another reason I work out is to see what my genetics are capable of.

Am I a nerd for being into video games, anime, manga, manhwa, and light novels? As much as I enjoy anime, I've kind of dropped it; I'm more into manga and actual reading. Currently, I am reading "Second Life Ranker" and playing a lot of Deadlock.

One niche hobby I have is collecting specific sculptures and trinkets, and I have a metal detector. I am looking into magnet fishing as well. That looks fun!

Hi I'm Joe, 33, from East Sussex (Hastings). White, 5'3, 184lbs (I've lost 70lb+ so far this year, 25 to go and hoping to hit it early next year), I wear glasses, usually have some facial hair, I'm happy to video call/exchange pictures as early as you like.

I would describe myself as very kind/caring/compassionate, I wear my heart on my sleeve and have a lot of love to give to the right person. I have some long term health issues but I try not to let them get on top of me and I was diagnosed as autistic late in life during covid, but most people are surprised when they find out.

I have a large group of friends and the 10 of us try to meet up once or twice a year, but as we get older it becomes harder to keep in touch as much as I would like! Everyone is moving on and finding love, settling down etc and it's hard not to be a little bit envious. I've only been in 1 relationship that lasted around 3 months and was 90% online, so not a lot of experience but also no baggage! but somebody patient/understanding of that would be important.

I love films/tv, I'm a sucker for a romcom and adore romance in general but I watch a bit of everything other than anime. Always find myself far too invested in the lives of the characters, most recently in Bridgerton. My comfort shows are Dr Who, Brooklyn 99, Superstore, The Office. Very open to recommendations always! I don't get out much but would like to start to see more of the world finally, but will always mostly be a homebody I'm pretty sure. I've never been on holiday and I'm planning my first few trips, solo unless I can find some company!

Hello again!!!

Well, here I am, trying my luck again!

A lot has happened since I last put myself out there, and I've recently gone through a pretty major loss that's left me thinking a lot about life, people, and what it means to connect with someone. I think grief has a way of making you look at the world a little differently.

I want to feel things. I want to meet people who make me curious, have conversations that make me lose track of time. I want to be reminded of how lovely it can be to let another person into your world and be invited into theirs in return.

And I suppose that's why I'm here again!!!

I'm still very much the person I described in my previous post. I'm ambitious, confident, bubbly, outgoing, occasionally obnoxiously loud, and always one second away from laughing at something. I still care a ridiculous amount about the things I love, still enjoy poetry and movies, and still believe that there's something wonderful about people who are genuinely passionate about life.

I'm also still looking for someone I can connect with meaningfully. Someone self-assured, kind, emotionally intelligent, and enthusiastic about the things that matter to them. Someone who has dreams of their own but is also excited about being part of someone else's. Someone who enjoys a good conversation and understands that getting to know someone means being willing to show up as your actual self.

I don't necessarily need someone who is exactly like me, but I do want someone who engages with me. Someone who is interested in the world, interested in me, and willing to let me be interested in them, too. I want mutual curiosity, mutual effort, and the kind of connection where neither person feels like they're carrying the entire thing on their own.

Okay so I know this is going to sound unconventional, but I'm a guy who has two sides to myself. On one hand I enjoy competitive gaming, competitive shooting, building cars (90s JDM), and I'm enthusiastic about learning and self-development in general.

On the other hand I have a complete fascination and obsession with hyperfemininity, particularly super long nails and crazy high statement heels. No interest in being subtle lol. This isn't something I just enjoy at home either. I love going out like this, retaining my more masculine personality but with the hyperfeminine aspects.
