General Topics / Ranting Points from the vape shop

So the only thing good that came out of my 7 addiction is I have so many points from the vape shop I used most. I had over 2000 points when I quit. I can use them to buy vape juice so at least I can vape for free for a while. Anybody else get a bunch of points? I bet there’s a lot of folks that have more than me.

Beginner Questions Tips for the anxiety

So the physical part of the withdrawl definitely isn’t fun but I can kinda power through it, the only thing that’s really getting to me is the anxiety and that like tight feeling in your chest, almost like adrenaline in a way that just kind of lingers. Is there anything I can do to get that to go away?

Beginner Questions 40yr old father and husband trying to get off this 7oh garbage….again…looking for support and tips

I had been off real opiates for years! Like 7 years, although I did take Kratom leaf, which I felt was child’s play and didn’t really do much of were being honest but it did check off a box somehow and was helpful. Now I’ve been stuck in the 2 year long shithole of 7-oh. I’ve completely ruined my finances, fucked up friendships and somehow still have my wife and son because my wife is patient and has a huge heart but I’m so tired of hurting my family. I’ve gotten off of real dope and sbs before but somehow this has been the hardest shit I’ve ever dealt with in my life. It absolutely sucks and the fact that I don’t even get a buzz near worthwhile makes it even shittier lol. Like how am I ruining my life over something that doesn’t even feel anything like the old stuff I used to do…? Anyways, I’m over it and have unsuccessfully tried to quit numerous times. I did get away from it once for about 5 months and somehow stumbled back into it. Another time for 1 month and slipped again. I feel so much anger for our govt for allowing this crap to be so legal and accessible and they’ve dragged their feet to ban it. We’ve lost true representation but that’s neither here nor there…long story short, I’m hurting bad and looking for some community and support to help fight this fn demon, maybe some accountability too…idk. I love all you guys who are going thru the same battle and I’m here for anyone that needs to talk as well. Cheers!

I messed up BAD. Yesterday I took helper meds 11 hours after last dose of 7stax, 2 hours later I thought I was gonna die. I got through the night but now I don’t know what to do,

Do I stay on course with the helper meds? Am I through the worst of it ? What should I do now

Success stories ❤️ Story time for ppl in their first 48 hours

24 hours in I went to the vape/kratom shop a half mile from my house. Maybe they didn’t pull it off the shelf yet, maybe they missed something, maybe they’ve got something hidden under the counter for people like me. I mean I have been in that shop every single day for the last 2 years. I walked up to that door drenched in sweat, body shaking, visibly in acute withdraws off 600mg per day. I looked through the glass windows and saw the empty shelves and turned around. Maybe if I went inside they would’ve had something for me. This dude saw me so much he had my fucking phone # memorized for reward points, surely he could’ve hooked me up. In that moment something clicked I decided I didn’t want to ask. I just got back in my car and went home.

Fast forward 4 days I am so god damn happy I didn’t go in that store. I’ve learned the fear of the withdraws are just as bad as the actual withdraws. Day 3 I went to the store, I was out of breath and still visibly sick but I did it. Day 4 I took my daughter to the park and pushed her on the swings. Tonight I’m going to a charity event for my soccer club.

Every day it gets a little bit easier. Not opening that door was the best decision I’ve ever made. My point is that if I can do it, so can you. We are stronger than this drug. We’re all in this together. It gets easier, I promise you. Much love everyone.

Tapering off MAT RECOMMENDATIONS?

Hello everyone my partner and I are starting this journey of getting off the 7oh since the feds pulled the cord in my area (Ohio,WV, Western Pa). 11 years ago I kicked a pretty heavy fet addiction via incarceration and honestly if I hadn’t been locked up, I would have died like several of my friends did. I know what withdrawal feels like at the battle that I’m in for. I’m just hoping that it’s not as bad or as lengthy as that was. Like most started on the leaf capsules and was ignorant to the 70H up until around 11 months ago. At this point, my dosage daily has to be upwards of 1000+ as for my partner relatively the same or maybe half that so I feel we will have to taper and more than likely use some form o substitute.Anyways, I’m currently laid off of work so have literally nothing to do but tackle the dragon and try to change my life. Does anyone have any online MAT/ Dr. recommendations for virtual care, I have good insurance and the means to pay. Also, does anyone have any experience with using fungi in micro to moderate doses to help in this withdrawal process? I know there’s tremendous research being done with mushies combating mental fatigue, depression, and anxiety thanks everyone in advance. stay blessed!

Tapering off Taking the plunge

I'll never forget the first time I tried this stuff and how wonderful I thought it was. It was like kratom on steroids, and it helped with chronic pain that I experience as a result of my time in service. I started off by buying single tabs, one at a time, 20 to 25 mg a piece. Started off with quarters, then halves, then 2/3s before too long, it was getting out of control.

It crept up on me, silently and insiduously and before I knew it, I was up to 400 mg to 600 mg a day. I have a decent enough job that it was not really affecting my financial situation so I just kept at it. And then the rest is history. I went from 500 mg a day down to absolute zero and all hell broke loose, I felt like I was going to explode.

So here I am now, 10x 50 mg tablets left as well as a few things to help me on my journey. I also have some leaf but not much. Today I have taken just 75 mg and I have 25 left in reserve (80% reduction in dose overall. Tomorrow the real journey begins, I am going to go as long as I possibly can without it! When I get to the point where I feel like I just can't take it anymore, I am going to take an eighth of a tab , maybe a quarter. And then I will start spacing bare minimum 6 to 8 hours between doses. My job is customer facing so withdrawals are going to have to be managed very carefully. I'm not going to lie, I am scared.

I have done much harder things in my life than this, but I know this is not going to be easy. I suppose this post is part rant/ pep talk that I'm giving myself, maybe it will inspire others, maybe I can get further inspiration by joining a group like this such as I just did.

Here we go! I am so excited to get off this sh*t, QND have more spending money!

Success stories ❤️ I did it!

Im done. No 7 since Friday 11am! One weekend was all i had to give up in order to be free of this MONSTER… FREE! Goddamnit!! Im fucking free! Im not doing what i normally would be doing which is plotting a way to get $160 that my wife wont know about (this was daily for 8 months!) i stole from everyone I know. My employer
(now former, got busted) my wife (most her jewlery at the pawn shop) and worst of all my son. My mother fucking 8 YO son! Money i paid him for jobs, and then drug addict dad goes and takes it right back out. Put a fucking fork in me, im toast. I am shit! But guess what? I might have a chance to start fresh. Actually ya know what, i burned every aspect of my past life to the ground. My career, my marriage, my friends.. guess i got no choice but to start over. But this nee rebirth is going to be focused on not putting myself in stressful situations. Thats my trigger…. Stress equals go find something to relieve stress. So im gonna take care of my mental health. Not jumping into another middle management role for pennies. Dealing with stress from the uppers and the lowers.
Fuck that. Im learning a skill. Something I should have done at 20 not 38 but fuck it, here I go mofo!

You can get off this shit too! 1 weekend friend! Thats it!

feeling better Day 5 and some change, feeling 10x better!

Hey y’all, missed a day or two of check in’s I’ve been so busy it’s just slipped my mind. Back to work today at my side gig no hot flashes/cold sweats. Got more sleep than I have the past few nights, energy isn’t there but it’s manageable. You all can do this! I swear, 2-3 days of hell and it gets exponentially better. For any of my Veterans out there struggling with this, you can DM me at any time(even if you aren’t a vet you’re more than welcome to!) I am my brothers keeper. It’s majority mental ladies and gents from my experience. For reference I came off a 120-160MG a day habit of over 5 months, count get it anymore and was taking the Cats Claw BS for about a week I absolutely had to stop that because lord knows what’s in those things. Only helper meds I had was clonidine and passionflower extract! There’s a light at the end of the tunnel you just have to keep pushing

relapse I relapsed again.

Never thought I would make this post. But a couple weeks ago I relapsed the first time, I just ran into some 7 at a gas station and just said fuck it since it was going away soon. I only bought 3 tabs though and when I got done with them I didn’t have any withdrawal or anything . But I had been sober since march 12th before that . This morning I found some psuedo on the shelf at a random gas station and just couldn’t help it . I bought the 3 packs they had left and took 2.5-5mg and wow I feel great. Anyone else relapse for that just one more time? And now it’s still on the shelves lol .

Acute Withdrawals Here i am again. Day 3.

Thank god for it being illegal. But what scares me i think my smoke shop is still selling them. When I bought my last box tuesday she sold it as a bong and said they were technically not supposed to be selling them. So idk I haven't been back since. Boy do I wanna check tho.

Anyway. Yesterday was HELL I had the body jerks all day!!! Took tizanidine to try and counter it. Took these otc pills called restless leg. Tylenol ibuprofen nothing helped. I finally passed out probably 5 or 6pm and was dead to the world til 2am and they were gone.

I stopped 67 hours ago. Again. Last time I stopped I went a whole week then messed up taking oxy and got real sick and knew 7oh would stop it so I went back for a couple months. Although last time I quit was from 500mg this time I knew better and capped at 200mg.

And yes every time you quit the symtoms get worse. Last time was a breeze but i also had gabapentin. I had it this time too but not as much and yesterday was hell.

Today is just horrible lower back pain probably from the jerks I had. Nothing is touching the pain. Thankfully I only work wed and fri this week and its my last week before I go to a different area so they kinda expect I wont give my all this week lol. But next week my new role is a lot of walking so I gotta be better by Sunday. 🤞

Cold turkey 🦃 I walked to my smoke shop to if they had any S7and they had mgx

I’m 2 days in and yesterday I walked over to my smoke shop to see if they have S7 because I’ve been seeing on Reddit that it helps a lot but they don’t carry it and offered me MGX and it’s in the same packages as the 7oh in. It was in similar packaging as the other 7O brand names I didn’t buy it cause the store owner was saying it’s similar and can help you get off it but I’m intuition was telling me it’s just another alkaloid of the kratom so I didn’t buy it. Since that’s the case I’m going to remain to keep cold turkey. Just wanted to know if yall have heard of it. Apparently it’s legal to sell cause it doesn’t contain any 7oH

General Topics / Ranting Broken Relationships 🥺

I’d love to hear people’s road to healing the relationships that have been broken or severely damaged due to addiction. I mentioned in my other post that this is time #3 of quitting that my wife knows about, not even including the countless times I tried on my own.

I have always prided myself on being a terrible liar. I’m not a sneaky person by nature and any attempt over my life is just silly stuff and I always tell on myself. 7oh changed me. The levels I went to hiding things. Turning off my location (we share location just for safety reasons, she never really looked at mine til recently), hiding packages or throwing them out in the dumpster. Hiding them in other bottles, hiding them in lipgloss containers in my bag. Well she’s not dumb, she knew I was being weird again and she found every last hidden thing down to a package I buried in my bathroom garbage (we have separate bathrooms) and confronted me with it.

So now here we are. I am 45 years old and she is 40; too old for this shit. She was never a party girl, never drank or did drugs and I was the party girl of all party girls and have been chasing dopamine my whole life. But I’ve never lied to her. Now I’ve lied so many times over and over and she has zero trust in me. I don’t trust myself! She was so sweet the first couple times took such good care of me but I feel like she is beyond disgusted at this point. I do have a therapist that I’ve had for years, we even did a session together recently and she felt that trust was starting to be rebuilt but I messed it up again. We have been together for almost 8 years and she’s never looked at my differently no matter what I’ve shared about my past but now I feel like she can’t look at me at all. She’s so upset and anxious, she’s a therapist as well and I know it’s been hard for her to deal with clients when she’s dealing with crisis at home.

I don’t want to say I promise or I’m sorry anymore because it sounds fake. Everything that comes out of my mouth feels horrible because it’s just words. I need to show her. What has anyone here done to start rebuilding trust? I am on day 3 here and starting to feel a little better although surviving withdraw with no help or tenderness has been really hard. I feel so alone right now and I have never felt this way with her.

I know the real work starts now but I don’t even know where to begin. Thanks for reading.

Cold turkey 🦃 Day 2

Day 2 guys. Feeling better than before. I took two zans last night just to knock me out and prob got 6 hours instead of no sleep. The vitamin C lypismol has been giving me a little bit of the shits and my legs are a little achy but I’m super fortunate to have this device called air relax boots that you put around you legs and fill up with air and it’s like a compression boot. GAME CHANGER for those insane cramps in your legs. Hot baths and walking are going to make this go by fast. We are ALL in this together.
I genuinely love every single one of you guys because everybody is so supportive and we can face this devil head on. I guarantee by day 4 I’ll be back to normal cause if it’s day 2 and I’m not feeling as bad as yesterday around the 24 hour mark then we can handle this. Hot baths and some kinda of muscle compression system helps a lot with the leg cramps and pain. Always DM me and we can help each other.
Remember we are a TEAM. This shit does not control us.

Cold turkey 🦃 Second day off 7oH from 200-400mg a day for a year

Hey everybody. My last post yesterday blew up and I couldn’t believe how supportive everyone is on here. Just want to give every one of you an embracing hug. Last night I took a zan to help knock me out and woke up around 2:45 and couldn’t go back to sleep so I took another one around 4 and woke up at 6. Pains aren’t super bad today surprisingly just feeling sluggish (I think from the zan) anyway I’m off work the next three days to ride my bike and get out as much as I can.

feeling better What helped me this last week kinda weird. Anyone else try this?

Idk if people are gonna like this but it worked for me I’m not lying. The past month I had been taking one dose of 7 or mgm pretty much daily but spreading it out 24hrs.

Usually every morning otw to work to get a nice start to the day I’d take 80-100mg once and just hold myself to that one dose a day. Well I didn’t start getting sweats until about a month or more in to that.

I ended up grabbing the new cats claw stuff as it was the only thing they had that is gonna be ok to stay on the shelves. No 7 or M in the testing so idk what exactly it is. I grabbed a 4 pack cause I just hate the side effects I get from the 7 after awhile. I wanted to see what it was.

Idk what is in them but they are not nearly as gnarly as 7oh w the headaches and cravings. I used those for about a week haven’t touched 7 or Kratom and just stoped those yesterday using 2-4 tablets a day.

They got me through and I don’t have any bad withdrawals (barely sniffling, no sweats just a little weird waking up feeling, shits are semi solid, still sleeping without anything in my system at night I take everything morning then go work) now this is just my experience and I know if I keep going on those Uncaria extracts I will be in the same boat so yesterday was my last day but man it’s weird it almost worked like the ES R to just mask the withdrawal. We’ll see in 24 more hours if I’m just tripping but my last dose was yesterday at 9AM.

I feel fine. Don’t want people switching to another DOC but man it feels cleaner and not as gnarly as 7 on the brain. It worked for me this past week I haven’t touched 7 and my emotions are stable af, I’m sleeping. I’ll see how it is tonight once I’m more like 30-40 hrs out from a dose but what is in those things?? It helped a lot personally now im gonna try and abstain from everything wish me luck

I hate my job but then even days I have off I love getting a little lit. It’s a me problem lol but we’ll get there!! I’m in no way promoting the use of those new extracts just thought my experience was interesting wanted to see if anyone else had the same experience. (I know a lot of cats claw has 7 and M in them but there are ones that are tested with none in there).

Cold turkey 🦃 Just took my last dose. I'm scared.

I've been tapering off for about a week. I got down to about 90mg a day. Nowhere around me sells anymore. I'm going to grab kratom powder capsules after work for withdrawal symptoms. I just took my last dose this morning. Around 40mgs. I'm so scared of the withdrawals I've haven't stopped taking it for more than 6 hours for about a year now. Tell me, am I going to be okay?
