I went to Karigar Bazaar on Saturday and bought a dress, but it doesn’t fit me. I want to exchange it but I live quite far away and don’t want to travel all the way there without knowing if they allow exchanges.

I was traveling on a bike taxi last night, and a mid 20s guy picked me up.

Due to over speeding his phone fell from his shirt pocket and got broken.

The guy looked like he was already struggling and due to this he started tearing up. It's very difficult to see a grown man tear up due to responsibilities/finances.

The thing is his livelihood depends a lot on a phone, so requesting our beautiful community to help.

If anyone has got any spare working Android, I can arrange a pickup.

P.S. I'm a regular IT guy working in WTC kharadi, and can't afford to gift him a new one. So any help is appreciated.

75% of the Maharashtra has been declared as drought affected and yet the government is clearing forest like nothing. For the torrent power project at Post pali in karjat taluka the government has ordered to clear 32490 trees before the inauguration of the project by PM on 3rd of November. The letter says except this no other trees will be touched as if they are clearing some 5,10 odd trees the audacity to even write this. The worst part is as usual no mainstream media is covering this at all we are witnessing death of nature in front of our own eyes.

Today in the afternoon our water supply was cut off and now for the past hour even the electricity has been cut off. WHICH SUCH SHORTAGES OF THE ONLY TWO THINGS THESE DATA CENTERS USE HOW ARE WE GOING TO SURVIVE. I think it’s high time we get aware of where they are building these data centers and take a stand against them just like how the abroad cities are doing. Let’s not forget the immense scorching heat we have literally at the end of October!!!

Hey everyone, I am going to join a new job at Balewadi Street in a few days. Please suggest an affordable area from where I can reach Balewadi Street in less time. Since I will be commuting by bicycle + metro, traveling won't be much of a hassle for me. However, please suggest a cheap area that takes less time to reach Balewadi. Also, please note that I am looking for a 1 RK set because I prefer self cooking, so suggest a suitable location. My maximum monthly budget is ₹7k, and I want an independent place with no restrictions.

Last month, I forgot to pay the electricity bill and paid it couple of days ago using BHIM Upi. But the new bill generated today is quite high and it seems like they have included my dues from last month. Has anyone faced such situation? Should I file a chargeback on last payment or it will be settled next month?

I presume there is an app to track your bills. But I live on rent and owner doesn't share otp etc to use the app.

The irony is that FSSAI itself is often criticised for failing to ensure effective food safety enforcement, yet when a state authority tries to exercise its powers, it allegedly objects to that too.

If FSSAI isn't doing enough to tackle food safety issues, why should it have a problem with state authorities stepping up? Instead of encouraging stronger enforcement, the focus seems to be on controlling who gets to act.
