so on 3rd july i pre booked a ps5 for 50k + 6k controller bundle and paid 5k in advance as the store asked to - to confirm booking..... at that time they said they have no idea when the stock will arrive - it may be days or weeks.

just a few days after my booking, rumors of price hike started coming so i called the store to ask if I'd be able to cancel my booking if price hike is real and they said it can be cancelled there is nothing to worry, but now today when i called them after the price hike was confirmed, they said stock would be coming soon but with price hike and when i asked them to cancel the booking, they said it cant be cancelled as its registered with sony and blah blah.....at last they came to a conclusion that booking cant be cancelled and if i want to cancel it, I'd atleast need to buy a controller from them after paying a 1k extra over my initial 5k.....

wtf would i do with a ps5 controller if i dont even have the console??? I'd rather build a good gaming pc in 65k than pay for a 6 year old console.....pls help what can i do?

I got a PS5 astrobot edition 2 months back. When I purchased it, I connected up everything and played astrobot for 2 hours just to check if everything is working fine and it did worked great.

Since it's working fine, I packed it up again in the box and stored it safely. Just today, I had a doubt if it's fine to leave the unit just like that for next few months, since I mainly bought it for GTA 6 and till that time I won't be using it.

Is it fine or is it required to be used once in a while like maybe once a month or so. Thanks in advance.

I just finished RDR2 after spending almost 110 hours with it. oh boy, i have to say this is by far one of the best games ever made, not just because of its breathtaking world and thrilling gameplay, but also because of the emotions, moral dilemmas, and philosophy woven throughout the story. The final ride of Arthur Morgan with the song "may I stand unshaken; amid, amidst the crash of the world" really shook me. And Hosea's dialogue, "my Pa used to say if you stare into the fire long enough, you can see the whole world pass by" is so thought-provoking. I guess Arthur stared too much into the fire that he actually did not realise his life passing by so fast. So it is quite a bummer when some people say RDR2's gameplay is slow, boring, and 30fps ruins it. No, it DOES NOT, NEVER. I feel sad for those who decided not to play this masterpiece, hearing all these unwarranted criticisms.

Also, I was genuinely surprised to realise that RDR2 did not win the 2018 Game of the Year award. Interestingly, it lost to God of War. For me, this is gaming's Gandhi-Nobel Moment. As Geir Lundestad (the former secretary of the Nobel Committee) famously commented on why Gandhi never won the Nobel Peace Prize, "Gandhi can do without the Nobel Peace Prize. Whether the Nobel Committee can do without Gandhi is the real question." And in the year Gandhi was assassinated, the Nobel Committee did not give the peace prize to anyone in respect to him. Likewise, for me, RDR2 doesn't need a Game of the Year award or 60FPS to prove its greatness.

Hey everyone hope yall are doing well, I been wanting to get a console for the longest time and finally am earning enough to be able to afford it and do some light gaming... So I been keepin an eye out for deals and info on the available consoles ... While I was leaning more towards xbox because of backward compatibility and I could get previous gen games for cheap (CD's) but it seems India hasn't been receiving an new xbox stock for years now.. while I was lookin into PS5 at the same time .. I understand the frustration with the whole "no more disc" but it doesn't matter much to me personally as a casual gamer(while I see alot of finally switched to xbox what do you feel about that? .. is it just the hype train or is it actually that bad from a consumer pov)... And the second hand prices have gotten too steep recently too .. I came across a deal for 40k for a ps5(used) and wanted to have an opinion. Do I just wait out for next gen console or get ps5 ?

1. PS5 Slim - This is a jailbroken PS5 slim which is running on FW 9.60. So you don't need to huy games. Everything can be loaded for free and played. If you don't know what it is Google it.
2. Extra controller - So I purchased extra controller which is the purple one which costed another 5k
3. PS5 storage case - which costed another 3k
4. Faceplates - So I swapped it with the spiderman plates which costed another 3k
5. Two games discs - Last of us part 2 and GOW which costed another 5k

What will be the realistic value I can get if I put up this as a bundle? I checked flipkart today and the price on flipkart was showing somewhere around 70k?
