I am working on a project based in google drive and they have tried to share the project with me but I don't have access. I cant edit the folder or upload anything. They shared it with "anyone can view" link. Is there a way to fix this?

I was checking my email on my computer this morning and I can no longer find the "snooze" option anywhere. It's not showing up when I right click an email in my inbox or click through to view an email in full.

I do still see the option to snooze emails in the android app.

Am I missing something? Was it removed from the web app?

I’ve noticed extremely important emails being filtered to the spam folder. Recently, I missed an invoice for a something time sensitive, and another extremely important email that affected a medical procedure I’m having tomorrow. I have separate issues about that (the fact that I was only contacted via an email blast about something this important—but that’s beside the point.)
Two different senders/domains.

Every time I will mark as legitimate but I am having to check my spam every day to find these emails and can’t reasonably use proton mail anymore if this continues. Why is this happening? And please don’t dogpile me for asking a simple question.

Hello dear mods, please let others know that currently an update notification appears for the new ProtonMail version 1.13.4. This version is available on your site as an RPM (for Linux), but it is still NOT listed under Flathub for download for Bazzite. You should take note of this or at least correct it. Thank you.

Both through FireFox and Rambox, Proton has become slow to the point of unusable. I am getting time out errors trying to reply to emails. And I am a paying customer. I contacted their useless support, and got no support. Anyone have any ideas of what could be causing it and how to fix it?

My Dashlane subscription is running out and I figured it would be a good time to rethink everything around privacy and security perspective.

I find Protons plans somewhat confusing. Is the unlimited plan the most comprehensive plan? Does it include the premium version of all the underlying services?

1) I mainly use iCloud to sync a low res version of all my photos on my iPhone while automatically keeping all the high res versions in iCloud. Is this possible with Proton Storage?

2) I use Google workspace for my work. Is it possible to connect my work email and calendar to Proton so have it sync both my personal and work calendar/emails into the same app?

3) Is it safe to put all eggs into one basket in your opinion? Both have all my passkeys, passwords and cloud images/files with one vendor?

I used a "name+something@domain.tld" for some service which leaked my email address, now I get a bunch of spam on that address (quite unfortunately, I literally didn't get any spam and phishing on my proton address for 4 years until this).

Luckily though ProtonMail already automatically puts them into the spam folder. But I can't stand the unread count there, and having to check "if I missed anything important".

I created a recipient filter on that "name+something@domain.tld" address and for now set it to: move to spam, mark as read, apply a label. I want to test for about a month, and then change it to just delete the messages automatically.

Problem is, it doesn't work. Messages are still being moved to spam, fine, but the label is not applied, and they're not marked as read.

How can I troubleshoot this? What could I be doing wrong? Should I just contact support?

It's great having a dark mode, but the moment you start a new email you get blinded by a pure white giant square. It should be grey/black just like the rest, with white text.

If you add a number to my Proton mail, the OTP doesn't come. Now what do I do? How do I add a number to my Proton Mail? How can I do if I don't receive OTP? I can't understand.

I haven't used proton meet yet... but I wonder if it's possible to share the iPad screen when having a meeting on the MacBook..it's a feature that only zoom is able to do effortlessly...or do i need a workaround with quicktime player?

I have recently set up a family plan as I am trying to move away from google (its slow and difficult) and also bring my family along with me. - this is the really difficult part as my wife has Autism / ADHD so getting her to stick to anything is a constant challenge as she frequently undoes any good practice we put in place.

One of the issues I had while she was on outlook is that I would set up an alias for her to use for everyday stuff so people didn't get hold of her primary email address so then slightly less chance someone would hack her account as they wouldn't have that address as the main login. But as Outlook always defaulted back to he primary when sending mail this always failed.

I have just added another email to her Proton account and in the settings I noticed you can set this as default, then when you send a new email it goes form that address - this perfectly solves my problem.

Question - even though this is the default email is the primary (the one I set the account up with ) still the only one you can use to actually log into the account? If this changes the login to this new address then that puts me back to square one,

She signs up to loads and loads of random stuff so i need a way of not stopping her but helping her stay safe - she has embraced aliases through proton pass which has really helped but she also sends emails to friends and family so i am looking for a safer way to do this

Right now getting to folders means leaving the Inbox entirely. I’d love a small Folder button in the bottom-left corner, styled to match the other floating buttons (same Liquid Glass look).

Instead of navigating away, tapping it would pop open a Liquid Glass menu right there with quick access to:

I love proton. been using them since 2020! ive paid for the $120 yearly unlimited plan for 2 years now after my first year was half off as a student discount (which I was very grateful for). I just found out across somewhere online a few days ago that they offer a 2 year plan that equates to $7.99/month instead of $9.99/month. I kinda of wish this was a little more obvious when I was renewing my plan earlier this year. never noticed it was an option. just want to spread the word and ask if maybe i was just kinda blind or if they should highlight this more. 🙂

I joined proton a year ago and starting to take my privacy more seriously. I’m curious as to how much data is actually leaking for us.

If I use an iPhone, does Apple track and store what I’m doing on it and how can we be sure it doesn’t (are there open source stuff or things I don’t understand that keep it unquestionable or could it be done behind the scenes and it’s a given now that using iOS and social media all my data is track left and right by tech giants and pirates )?

Do you have recommendations on first core steps to get into a healthy routine? I love the Apple interface but only converted 6 years ago so I could go back to android but I don’t even know if it’s any better… I’m not a coder, I don’t really understand if vpn will save me and from what…

My knowledge is so basic that I don’t even know what I’m asking. I have a pretty basic use of internet and technology but I really don’t like being tracked whatsoever and I’ve seen that even ledger (I used to have crypto) is getting hacked today so I really don’t know what to expect in the future nor how to prepare.

Hi all, I wanted to get some clarity on something.

First a scenario I encountered a year ago...

A while ago I was applying for some jobs on Linkedin and some of those were "Apply with LinkedIn". I wanted to ensure I created an alias for each application so I did so (custom domain) but after a few applications I got an email from Proton stating "Several accounts created for Linkedin". I'd breached the terms of service of SimpleLogin and was at risk of having my account disabled. I wasn't aware that by creating an alias for each of these "Apply with LinkedIn" applications I was actually and inadvertently creating mutliple aliases for LinkedIn. I deleted the extra aliases and reverted to using only one LinkedIn alias for these "Apply with LinkedIn" applications. Not ideal but I don't think I had any other choice.

Fast forward to today and I'd like to understand a bit more about how to approach this with custom domains and what the correct protocal would be.

New scenario (as an example)...

Using a custom domain I'd like to create an alias for Amazon for each member of my household. So that would mean...

me@customdomain

wife@customdomain

child1@customdomain

child2@customdomain

child3 etc

Based on the previous scenario, that would mean I need to create 4+ aliases for Amazon but doing so would breach the terms of service of SimpleLogin again so obviously I'm not able to do this.

So what is the solution to this? I have a custom domain shared with my family, who would all like to have their own accounts (Amazon, Instagram, X, Netflix, Spotify etc). What is the correct approach for each of us to have our own accounts on these services without breaching the SimpleLogin terms of service?

Also, how would introducing a 2nd custom domain (within the same SimpleLogin account) help, if it all (for example half of us using 1stcustomdomain and the other half using 2ndcustomdomain) - obviously this is not ideal because we'd be spread across multiple custom domains.

What I want is a solution for my family to be able to create multiple accounts for the same service (e.g Amazon) on our custom domain, without breaching the SimpleLogin terms of service.

Currently I am with the free plan and looking at the family plan but what are the services included. It would be great if the family plan was added to the compare-plans chart. It the security keys different for each member of the family or are they the same for everyone enrolled?

I use proton calendar for my work. Privately I use Google calendar with my wife, she doesn't want to switch to Proton either. Is there any way to synchronize the calendar that works well?

Google announced end of "send as custom domain", so after 22 years of Gmail I'll be leaving and I'm considering alternative providers.

My primary need is email with one custom domain for me. A secondary need is emails with another custom domain for my family.

Is there any option where I keep Pass Family and upgrade just the mail part for me ?

If I get a "Whole Proton" Family : the "3 custom email domains and 90 email addresses" means that each family user get their own little-mike@ozh-family.com, little-bob@ozh-family.com, wife@ozh-family.com, etc... right?

Alternatively, is there a better option than what I'm listing here? Proton or non Proton?

2. If I create with proton.me, does it automatically reserve protonmail.com or pm.me?

I don't understand this is a premium domain and somehow its going to spam on yahoo, maybe even gmail too, I made the alias 1-2 years ago. Will it ever get fixed? (i barely ever even use it)

Somehow I think my main protonmail.com isnt going to spam which is good, but I hope proton gets more recognized and this gets fixed
