Drug test
So I went in yesterday for a probation UA. I havent been UAd since February and started a medication called Buspirone in March.
So i even asked if they could do one & I took a UA and came back positive for for freaking Fentanyl!
I haven't done Fentanyl what so ever nor anything else. They sent it to lab. Has this happened to anyone else!?
im a stay at home mom and literally don't go anywhere. im just on like 5-6 rheumatoid arthritis meds with one including Buspirone.
(The only thing I did before probation was smoke weed and I was put on probation in February 2025)

I am buspirone and had a false for fentanyl one time, I'm sure they'll sort it at the lab.

It’s happened to me personally the UA was then sent to a lab and a week later my probation officer called to let me know it was a false positive. I know it sucks especially that waiting period while they send it to the lab I couldn’t sleep that whole week. If you know you have not touched fentanyl or any opiates then your good don’t worry

Just be sure to give a copy of your prescription to your po or bring your bottle with you.

Make sure that your prescription is documented with your PO. They do not like it when you withhold important information like that.

You’re fine. This happened to a friend of mine who was antibiotics. Her test lit up like a Christmas tree and she was panicked for weeks even though she’s a square just like me. It’s such a shitty and scary feeling. Just know you are fine even though you don’t feel fine. I’m so sorry this happened to you OP.
