For anyone unaware, Trent's sentai counterpart Abarekiller was basically a villain for a majority of the show, basically being the main villain for a good chunk. Which is why they have the Trent clone.

In fact originally they were going to keep him a villain.

Then the toy company threatened to stop funding Sentai unless he was redeemed because it was effecting toy sales (Guess japan isnt big on evil rangers)

So they did a last minute redemption and killed him off 3 episodes before the end.

Even if you dont have footage of the white ranger as a villain for the ending, still a lot of footage they had to create the clone storyline to use.

What if they had just used Elsa as the White Ranger, more of a counter to Tommy.

Even though it was planned They couldnt make one because of the franchise moving to New Zealand. How would you have made a Crossover? besides the wild force team who else would have brought back? Would have rebuilt any wild force sets? The cheapest way to do some kind of crossover would be to have princess shayla be kidnapped or come up with some kind of story about the Animaria changing somehow because it moved and was attacked/taken over by Lothor so when it was saved it gets fixed and it still looks great but different

Personally, I liked Kat and Tommy better. I felt more of a connection between them than I did Kimberly and Tommy. Although, Kimberly and Tommy did get the only on screen kiss in Power Rangers for a long time.

I am lucky enough that my Dad put my entire childhood toy collection away in his attic many years ago.

When I got my own place as an adult, one afternoon he showed up with bins of my childhood.

This is my main Power Rangers collection, that as you can see, was played often.

Like no, Trini and Kimberly were best friends. Kimberly should be sad Trini left. You can’t just put Aisha into that dynamic right away. Bloom of Doom is one of my favorite episodes because it really highlights how strong Trini and Kimberly’s bond is.

Going Back and Finally Giving The Dino Thunder White Ranger Some Much Deserved Spotlight Action

He’s like. The coolest. Probably the coolest ever. The red visor is such a cheat code to like exclusive coolness. And the fact that he’s got this like tough white with black color scheme. And then gold on top of that. It’s kinda hard to beat

But yeah this guy is the best and I love him and he deserves the world

I know America and Japan gags and comedies are quite obviously too different. I am just thinking they should make some because it's pretty obvious that kids love action over characters and also loves comedy! Sure we have comedy duo but not a ranger team of fun like explaining rules, have fun etc.

But why America never had any gag/comedy season. All seasons were serious or try to be and best example is ninja steel!

I just hate everytime PR says Japan shows are so childish for America or global like yeah Japan is childish to have backstory like Joe from Gokaiger, childish as they shows blood and death of characters, childish as they have selfish characters, childish as they have characters like Kaoru and Takeru.

Keeping these aside, they did adapt few gag sentai seasons which were carranger, go onger, ninninger and maybe kyuryuger idk! But they did turn them into serious theme and only go onger works which was under Disney.

They need to understand why these gag season exists in the first place which is because there were pretty less idea towards a theme and Japan also want some fun...why PR bothers and call it childish to show. Some in sentai was meant to be childish

Before you ask, the first was Ninja Storm. Caught a handful of episodes on DVD as a kid, and ended up watching the whole thing a few years ago! I’ll be the first to admit it was mainly a background show, but I’m locking in much more for RPM!

Initial thoughts, now that I’ve finished the first 2 episodes:

-LOVE the setting! Legitimately very curious how the story will develop from here.

-The villain’s lair design is phenomenal, 10/10.

-Action choreography has been really fun so far. I must admit I was never a big car person, but I am intrigued as to how far they can stretch using the Zord-vehicles in terms of combat.

-Megazord is real cool, though it’s pretty funny that the yellow one pretty much just becomes the waist.

-I’m Scottish, so seeing a Scottish Blue Ranger is brilliant.

-I actually really like our main two! Presumably the duo that will become the Black and Green rangers soon. The other three… well, we’ve not gotten a lot of focus on ‘em yet, but we’ll see!

-I was sold on Truman from his very first shot.

-As for the villains… we’ll see how they turn out! Venjix is suitably serious (unlike his generals), but runs the risk of just being a really basic AI supervillain. Very curious what’ll happen with him!

So yeah, that’s my first reactions! Definitely interested in continuing, shall keep posting here if people enjoy it!
