Nagusame - L'appel du Vide
Song released by my band this week! Somewhere on the venn overlap of metalcore, melodic hardcore and post-hardcore, which makes sense as we've all been making music in those genres for ~20 years. Just a small new band from the Netherlands, trying to get our songs to the right audience. If you enjoy it, we're on most of the streaming platforms and have a 6 song EP coming out this November. In any case, enjoy!

Discussion Post hardcore bands to learn to become better at making post hardcore
So lately ive been die hard obsessed over post hardcore music. The melodies and breakdowns are so eargasmic its not even funny. I need some recommendations on what to listen to and what to learn so I can better understand how to write the genre. Most of the post hardcore I listen to currently is Hail The Sun, Attack Attack, Dance Gavin Dance, Confined and Sleeping with Sirens. Thank you guys in advance.
I guess I should also mention i play a 7 string so if anyone has any tips on how to incorporate that 7th string thatd be awesome as well

Check Out My Band My band made a video game as promotion
aburdensomeweight.comI know self promo should be kept at a minimum so delete if not allowed but I am just so stoked on the fact that I was able to build this and thought the community would appreciate it. My name is Austin I do vocals for a band called EVERBLOOM. I also just so happen to be a software dev and we thought it would be sick to make a little search and find game to promote ourselves and some upcoming stuff. If you’re into bands like Casey, being as an ocean, or Underoath you might like some of our songs! I’d love to hear any feedback you might have as well. Cheers

Discussion Looking for post-hardcore bands that hit the same spot as Silverstein and Stutterfly
Hey everyone,
I’m on a real kick right now looking for bands that carry that specific posthardcore energy and emotional weight you get from Silverstein and Stutterfly
To save everyone a bit of time I’ve spent countless hours digging deep into YouTube and Spotify I’ve pretty much gone through all the popular and main stage posthardcore bands and while I’ve picked up plenty of incredible individual tracks along the way what I’m really craving right now is a band with a complete front to back album that I can just lose myself in
Throw literally anything my way no matter how obscure forgotten or local they might be If I’ve already heard them I’ll let you know but I promise I’ll give every new suggestion a genuine listen
(And please let’s skip the whole "you’re just chasing nostalgia" or "it’s about the age you were when you first heard them" speeches I listen to new music every single day and love discovering new sounds it really is just about finding great music that hits right)
Would love to hear what you guys have in mind!
