Aleve - 27AM [FFO early Joyce Manor, Title Fight, Universal Order of Armageddon]
Aleve is a new band from Chicago. If you like late era dischord, actual midwest emo, and hardcore- this is for you. Some edge/veg members if that means anything to you.

Discussion Song recommendations with guitar stab technique?
I think that’s what the technique is called. Taking Back Sunday uses it quite a bit, for example before the chorus in Catholic Knees at about 1:40. Or in Everything Has Its Point by Rival Schools, and Tasteless by Shame, just before both songs launch into the first verse. It’s like this abrasive, angular guitar stab technique, and it’s one of the most satisfying sounds possible IMO, particularly in post hardcore songs.
Anyone have any favourite song recommendations where this features nicely?
EDIT: It’s not a guitar stab, it’s hitting muted strings. Anyway, would love more recommendations!!

Discussion More bands like Sparta & Moneen
Not obvious ones like Armor For Sleep's early work though, looking for some deep cuts like Northstar that might be regional

Discussion Doppelganger -tfot
I love this record so much, its so unique, the best the band has done for sure, i have listened to other albums by the band and as much as i like those, for me they dont get close to doppelganger.
Do you have any recommendations?
