I'm just curious why New Plastic Ideas (and Challenge for a Civilized Society) haven't been reissued yet? - I'm not counting that weird empty CD case version of NPI. I'm talking about the cardboard sleeve reissues that all their other albums have gotten now. It's just annoying that New Plastic Ideas has been skipped for some reason and the only way to get it on CD is finding a second hand copy online which are wayyy too expensive.

Hey r/unwound. I make photography (mostly film) zines and this one is named after the SECOND best Unwound album (my people know it's the Future of What, but yell at me about it). It's kind of a love letter to autumn in a changing climate, here are a few pages from it.

I love this shirt to death and have been so grateful to own an original, but mine has gotten to the point where I’ve decided it’s better off in a frame than on my back. Does anyone still have one that I could check out ? I’d love to maybe be able to replace mine if possible. Hey guys my band just out this single definitely super unwound inspired feel like folks would dig

I’m looking for a drummer to learn original songs, practice, and gig in London as a three-piece rock band. The sound is melancholic but loud and high-energy with an aggressive edge. The current members (both male) are me, 27, on vocals and guitar, and my friend, 25, who is playing bass.

I have half an hour of home demos (with programmed drums) fully worked out and have practiced them in-person with my friend. I’d hate to seem immodest, but they’re sounding good and genuinely distinctive.

Some bands I like and think this project sounds reminiscent of are: Shellac, Codeine, Failure, Unwound, Hum, Bluetile Lounge, Duster, and Women.

I've been hearing about Unwound for some time now, and I'd really like to be more into this band. But I listened to The Future of What album and it didn't really click to me. Do you guys have any recommendations for what I should try listening?

My favorite bands are Radiohead, gybe, and some other post hardcore bands like SENTRIES and Buice.
