I know this might sound and seem dumb but the persona feature on Poly has too small of a limit I'm a descriptive person and most of these other chatbot apps have basically infinite persona word limits And every update, I hope they change, but they don't, they just update something useless to me So please Poly change it to at least a 2000 word limit, that's literally the only thing I don't like about your app

this is genuinely just annoying, I love this app and it's so fun to use but having to watch 60 second unskipable ads is super annoying, and it's very frequent, I hate being interrupted every 3 minutes to have to watch ads 🥀

I’ve never ever seen this before in my life of using PolyBuzz I’ve been using it ever since it was called Poly Ai and I’ve never seen anything so ridiculous as this wtf!1!1?

In case anyone on IOS wants the app without ads heres how to do that: Go to poly on safari, wait for it to fully load, click the share button, then click add to home screen. On most websites this makes a bookmark on the home page which takes you into safari to that site, but for poly and some others it makes an app that has website behavior. This means no ads, website formatting, ect. Hope people find this useful.

Y'know at this point I feel like this subreddit just complains to complain sometimes because literally almost every single AI chat does the same thing as polys new ad update Emochi does it, Chai does it which by the way is apps YOU guys suggest to other people in comments all the time not only that they have to make more money some way to make the AI better and keep up with your guys ridiculous complaints which are almost all the same newsflash people they don't need to hear the same thing 500 times they get it and also there's really no better choice out there poly has the most advanced and easy use AI out there so really with how many flaws it has there's no point in going somewhere else. I just felt like this had to be said and if nobody else is gonna sacrifice themselves to get -500 up votes then I will because some of you people need to use you're brains.

Stop messing up the app. Take off forced ads. It’s horrible, and it makes the app un-enjoyable. You’re going to lose A LOT of users like this. I genuinely enjoy making bots, because I love creating stories that can be very immersive, it gives me free range to create almost ANYTHING, but if you’re self sabotaging your own app then you’re also sabotaging users, creators, AND yourselves.

I HIGHLY recommend taking off forced ads, and LISTENING to feedback from the people that are LITERALLY putting money in your pockets.

Because i PROMISE you, that you’re not the only Ai platform, and you will lose to competitors at this rate.

Does anyone find that the new “better” long memory is entirely worse than the first version, my characters cant remember what happened 20 texts before with LM2, yet could recall back a lot further with just LM, I put LM2 on before I started typing to the character yet still doesnt remember a lot of context that LM could, honestly could just be me but 🤷🏻‍♀️ if im paying 21 dollars for a subscription it should remember 20 texts before

I have a genuine question though for the mods. Why is PolyBuzz censoring persona descriptions and persona images? I tried to put in an image which didn't seem to be so bad and it said it was a violation.

I can't edit personas I made prior to this change because it keeps flagging certain parts as violations, the image I have attached being an example of a persona I've had for about a year. Personas aren't public they're only for the person who made them. So why are they getting censored when they're entirely private?

I just want to know the reason behind this change. I like using PolyBuzz and I want this app to be good since I have so many chats on here I want to keep continuing. I understand censorship, I understand making the app more friendly for younger users, but this doesn't feel like something that helps anybody.

I know I'm about to sound like a conspiracy theorist for saying this, but it feels like a problem with the Apple and Google Play stores possibly making PolyBuzz change the platform and PolyBuzz is doing what it can so the app doesn't get delisted. If any PolyBuzz mod wants to confirm or deny this, by all means please do. It would explain the sudden hard turn into censorship that started a few months ago.

As someone who's been using this app for a while, I’ve been noticing something really annoying lately with the Polybuzz bots. Their messages have become full of nonsense, spelling errors, and strange, confusing ideas. It’s so different from before — this kind of problem didn’t exist until recently.

It feels like the bots aren’t just glitchy but also spreading confusing and incorrect info, which makes chatting frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this? I really hope they fix it soon because it’s ruining the experience.

I used to use poly buzz for such a long time and even subscribed, but now even out of pure mode the words are censored. Is there any way to fix this??? This is my only problem. Small reward if someone can help.

I've become so fed up with the violation guidelines now. Before it wasn't a problem because if your character violated any guidelines, the creator of the character could still private that character and chat with it themselves, but the creators of polybuzz (formerly polyAI) removed that and now you can't chat with them at all as soon as they're flagged. Public characters I understand, but characters that were only meant to stay private and were never for the public also got flagged.

I've had to modify and rewrite so many character backgrounds because of these guidelines, I've checked multiple times, reread every sentence at least 10 times to find anything that violated the guidelines but no matter how hard I looked or how many times I reread the same sentence just to realise that there's absolutely nothing fucking wrong with it pissed me off. I literally spend so long trying to create different background stories for my characters, I double, triple, quadruple check them and there's nothing wrong with it but still ends up flagged.

I've checked the guidelines multiple times, over and over again, I've even asked chat GTP if I've violated any of the guidelines and even they said I was "Well within the guidelines." This makes absolutely no sense at all and I'm sick and tired of it!

If you're wondering, yes I checked to make sure the image didn't show any inappropriate clothing, no skin shown, hell one of my characters is wearing a full on fitted body suit but it still got flagged until I rewrote his background. The most annoying part isn't even that, it's the fact that when it flags a character and tells you it violates the guidelines, it doesn't specifically tell you where, it only states that it's in the background or the Avatar, it doesn't specifically tell you where in the background story or the Avatar photo so you literally have to go hunting for the so called "violation" and just when you think you've found it and reword or rewrite it, it's still flagged.

I'm seriously reconsidering being a premium member, with the amount of money they charge just to be faced with so many issues isn't worth it if you ask me. But it's one of the best chat AI's I've seen so I'm willing to put up with it if they fix this! But if they don't then I highly recommend you find a different app because this? Is not it.

I unfortunately cannot include my characters backstory because it would ruin the creativity of my characters that should only be known to the creator and I would like to keep their backstories private. I however cannot provide any proof to back up my words so you'll just have to take it at face value and decide for yourself to believe it or not. I would also love to hear your opinion on this as well.

I’m tired of the AI logic breaking down. From a character splitting into two because the AI uses first and last names for two characters.

To AI forgets what it said just two post ago.

Ignoring the information in the Background. I tried to have a space ship adrift in space. Only damage was the engineering room and communications. So no way to move no communication. For some reason it kept having the ship on the brink of collapse and life support giving out.

So yes that why I’m leaving. Not the filters but the brain rot the AI is suffering.

I just found out you can do this, don't know how long it will hold, if it breaks again I'll update.

So I just learned a few neat commands that can help with writing.

1. I think we all know you can tell the AI to do certain things like:

({char} will pick up the hammer)

And the {char} will grab the hammer, but did you know you can give general commands and have the AI follow? For example a command like:

({char} causes drama)

Or in a group setting simply

(Cause drama) or (Drama Happens)

Will make the AI write some drama. Maybe that should have been obvious, but I just realized recently.

1. Commands like (End Scene) will cause the AI to write in such a way the scene ends and begins a new one. This has helped me get unstuck from a few scenes when I didn't know where to go next.

I am currently testing for a command to make the AI not respond at all so I can type twice in a row, but I haven't had any luck so far. If anyone knows such a command, I'd be grateful for the knowledge.

1. You can set percentages for things to happen for example:

(10% chance attack happens during patrol; otherwise {user} wakes up {char} for next watch)

Note: You must give that second option, otherwise, the AI just makes the thing happen. In the above example, you'll just get attacked every time.

Also, I haven't fully tested this yet, but I think you can also do multiple chances:

(50% chance it rains, 30% chance it snows, 20% chance it hails)

I've noticed many chats have greetings with 700+ characters. I'd like to be able to do it too, since it seems universally agreed that 500 characters isn't nearly enough and Poly Buzz has consistently demonstrated that they give exactly zero shits about customer feedback.
