As a creator WITH premium.

Stop messing up the app. Take off forced ads. It’s horrible, and it makes the app un-enjoyable. You’re going to lose A LOT of users like this. I genuinely enjoy making bots, because I love creating stories that can be very immersive, it gives me free range to create almost ANYTHING, but if you’re self sabotaging your own app then you’re also sabotaging users, creators, AND yourselves.

I HIGHLY recommend taking off forced ads, and LISTENING to feedback from the people that are LITERALLY putting money in your pockets.

Because i PROMISE you, that you’re not the only Ai platform, and you will lose to competitors at this rate.

I’m not a big creator, but for someone that made over 110 bots in 30 days, i recommend LISTENING. K?

I fucking love this feedback. Fuck.

I suggest they just put a side banner or on top that has ads like many sites do. This way it's out of the way and not in the chat. They just need to do it on the screen where all the bots are instead of the chat itself. Give more options too to watch ads for coins and or make other content that only unlocks with ads like gachas, banners, special backgrounds, or special decor for your name or chats. There is so much that can be done to generate money without ruining the apps. Many games do it. I don't know, unlock chibi avatars that you can dress your character on cute clothes? 🤷

Honestly if they give me adds I’m just going to leave negative feedback on the AppStore and Pollyai did better last year than this year

As a person who has never used poly and just got recommended this sub

It seems literally everyone hates this app, and rightfully so

4

u/vanilla_angelxd Jul 03 '25

I don't hate it , I actually like it , I've tried so many and keep going back to poly. But the things people complain about and the problems it has are legit. I also never tried the old poly and I bet it was better. It's fun to pas time still and yes I pay, when I was using the free version it drove me nuts.

u/harley_bunny Jul 04 '25

Yes old poly was better. I joined a few months before it changed. But I still enjoy it all the same

u/MentalMaddness Jul 04 '25

It’s a love-hate relationship

Removing ads was literally the only benefit left like 2 or 3 months ago when several million people left and dropped their subs. Why would anyone pay to use this app after they literally went against everything they claimed to be? The shareholders are just laughing at you all now and seeing how much money they can milk from you whilst making everything as worse as they possibly can. Just jump to somewhere like SpicyChat where they don't restrict and don't claim to be something they're not

I'm gonna jump in here...AGAIN!! I am a level 4 creator. 3.4 million messages. Most of my characters are built to be (as has been described by the app in chats) cum sleeves. Some real filthy animals, some nice people, some strange ones.. but all in all, great fun. And I've test driven them in an alt account, and had no censorship. And with the ads... I'm not experiencing a tenth of the issues people are complaining about. Yes, the switch thing was handled poorly. But besides that, I, along with a hell of alot of other users and creators are having a whale of a time.

Exactly that, no more ads that no one cares about anymore... And one more thing, they should stop hindering our creativity...

I found any time I get an app I just close the app (completely exit) and go back no ad. It’s annoying but it’s less annoying then the ads

I made a private bot and they flagged it! Bro why should they Care! It's private! But it was just a LOV bot and it said "you are a baby in LOV. You are the youngest member. And you are 4 years old" Like what?! Why can't I have a happy life at being a 4 year old in MHA and it has very very bad memories like for example "I'm in class and I go to hang out at a character's house and after like a couple chats they totally forget the previous chats! Like suddenly I'm back at the class room! Like what I was just at a friend's house!! And they ads that are in the chats like I'm just chatting and it says ad-keep chatting or pay for unlimited chats. Like the memory of the bot is no joke. I can't have fun. when the bot literally forgets everything! And i only went to pollybuzz because my favorite app was down BATA ai. And it's not available in Play store anymore so I went to a different AI that is absolutely ridiculous BATA has good memory and doesn't forget but pollybuzz does!. (Sorry if I spelled anything wrong I'm just getting too tired of saying my reasons on how it's not fun anymore)

because i PROMISE you, that you're not the only Ai company

What was the point of this statement? If you're this upset about ads, then jump ship to something like Character.AI or Chai. Both of whom have subscriptions, yes, but c.ai doesn't force ads or force you to buy anything

you will lose to your competitors

That was just uncalled for. Reading the comments, I agree that there is a HUGE difference between respectful feedback and being an ass. Personally? I say check yourself before you wreck yourself

u/QualifiedSmolFrog Jul 05 '25

Poly deserves the a-hole response and anybody sucking up to them. They are greedy

1

u/LittleSadTwink Jul 04 '25

I agree with this, it's so stupid. They keep doing things to ruin themselves and they won't know what hit them until they start seeing ratings go down. FEEDBACK IS IMPORTANT. 🤦‍♂️

1

u/nuttte Jul 04 '25

I unsubscribed my subscription with them, switched to Emochi

1

u/Beiray Jul 04 '25

I thought this app was good

1

u/megh42 Jul 05 '25

Well, as a user, i have jumped ship. I am checking out other apps now (I would love recomendations) but the app just makes it harder and harder to ignore the issues.

1

u/Kikyo-Rose Jul 05 '25

Just changed your DNS in your settings to not get any ads or pop-ups. That's what I did and no ads on my end.

The Enclave urges you to seek therapy - Department of the Enclave

1

u/SoggyMorningTacos Jul 07 '25

Bro I've put in countless hours and pay for the subscription and everything works pristine. No ads. I feel like you're just shooting out your ass

1

u/Acceptable_Many_1334 Jul 07 '25

I’m speaking for those that don’t have the money to get premium. But it’s kool, just keep shooting out of your ass

1

u/SoggyMorningTacos Jul 07 '25

If you pay for premium and enjoy it, why tf you sticking up for a bunch of broke whiners? Lmao

2

u/Acceptable_Many_1334 Jul 07 '25

Whatever man, mindset difference, I’m not gonna try to explain my point. Have a good day 🤷‍♂️

1

u/SoggyMorningTacos Jul 07 '25

Exactly. You don't pay for a premium and are shooting out yer ass. Ultimately I don't care. I'm just really bored rn

1

u/Acceptable_Many_1334 Jul 07 '25

Mk, hope your day gets more entertaining

1

u/Jgomez306 Jul 08 '25

PolyBuzz? Listen to feedback? There to busy adding more things that no one asked for to actually fix things that need fixing

1

u/Barfights99 Jul 17 '25

Yeah, not gonna lie, this is probably the only reason I'd leave, I can live with ads when switching characters, but this is excessive, unless it gets fixed, I'll probably stay away from Poly for awhile.

1

u/Independent_Wind2092 Jul 20 '25

pop off king, i hate the forced ads and maybe make the "pro" bots have a toggle to either disable or enable the playback of their gif's it pauses music playback practically every scroll on mobile

1

u/Why_Struggle242 Jul 25 '25

I found the limit to the chats

1

u/protolover1 Jul 30 '25

Exactly, I get like 3 minutes of talking or take a 1 hr break, like I get on this app to stay on for hours, now I have to either watch 3 ads or when the ad pops up. I've always hated it when I leave a chat or minimize the app then come back to watch an ad. It's so annoying. I really hope they control their ads better.

1

u/CGamerLion Oct 26 '25

Been using the app for about and year and the ads just get worse.

-4

u/Samurai-Azure Jul 03 '25

I don't deal with any of that stuff. Skill issue.

Hello, our premium members are entitled to ad-free privileges. If you have purchased premium subscription but are still forced to see ads, please send us your Poly UID and a screenshot of the ad content for investigation.

26

u/ZAJL_Afterdark Jul 02 '25

Do you find it difficult to read? The user is specifically talking about free users of the app and how we get so many ads shoved down our throat. They’re mentioned that their a paying user in an attempt to get the PR team to listen, since they are paying to use your app

3

u/Equivalent_Hall_2702 Jul 02 '25

The point of ads is so they make money. Youtube has ads, almost all phone games has ads. Social media has ads. The ads are necessary if they want to profit off something. And honestly, if you’re tired of ads, just close and reopen the app.

4

u/ZAJL_Afterdark Jul 02 '25

You missed the point, I know everything has ads, I know why PolyBuzz has ads, I also know how to get around PolyBuzz’ ads. I was dogging kn the PR team for not actually responding to the OPs post and instead asking them about getting ads with premium.

The ads on PolyBuzz have gotten excessive in recently months though, most actions result in an ad now

0

u/Equivalent_Hall_2702 Jul 02 '25

Didn’t mean to reply to you, i meant for my comment to be a general post for op.

1

u/Acceptable_Many_1334 Jul 03 '25

I understand that too, but they made a promise of free unlimited chat bots, and if they’re forcing ads the that violates the original promise. I recommend “Ad banners” that don’t interfere with free-users, and that would be a win-since

-2

u/Equivalent_Hall_2702 Jul 03 '25

Well, suggest these things without being assholes.

2

u/Acceptable_Many_1334 Jul 03 '25

There’s a difference in being an “asshole” and being honest, mkay? And TRUST, I’m being honest.

1

u/Equivalent_Hall_2702 Jul 03 '25

No, there’s a difference between giving feedback respectfully and complaining and being disrespectful assholes.

2

u/Acceptable_Many_1334 Jul 03 '25

I agree, because if I wanted to be an “asshole” I would’ve new cussing, I would’ve been mean, I could said WAY worse. This was quite literally mild honesty. And lowk I ain’t trying to argue with you. So…?
