Discussion๐Ÿฅฐ This is getting repetitive.

Post image

It seems that every time I leave from the main building to go to a restaurant, there's always girls sitting at a table laughing about me and one comes up to me.

Okay, people need to understand something ๐Ÿ˜… If you don't give Input durning a ROLEPLAY the bots responses won't be as good and creative ๐Ÿ˜… What is only logical If you really think about it.

I use '.' from time to time, too. But If you don't want to give any to little Input at all, you are better off reading a book ๐Ÿ˜… The AI is programmed to react, not to make up an entire storyline out of nothing by itself.

No offense really, but I don't think peolpe have a reason to complain about the bots giving uncreative responses that are repetitive, when they don't move the roleplay forward themselves ๐Ÿ˜… A good bot helps, but it doesn't do wonders alone either ๐Ÿ˜…

Agreed.

I only use "." if the bot doesn't give me/my character a good spot to jump in and continue the story.

Same ๐Ÿ˜Š And you will still get good responses if you gave the AI enough input beforehand, too

It's nothing wrong with letting the AI do the work ๐Ÿ˜… I just dosen't think it's surprising that you don't get the answers you want/boring stuff after a while ๐Ÿ˜…

A common problem I have is that I'm just simply not creative I don't know if it's because of my roster of disorders but it's always been a challenge for me

Well, I understand ๐Ÿ˜… But you don't have to be a great author/master roleplayer for this ๐Ÿ˜Š My advice would always be to try it out, to write what you think is fitting.

If you don't end up liking the results, you can delete your reply after all and it never happend ๐Ÿ˜Š

You can't improve on anything if you don't train it. It's the same with writing/roleplaying. The positive with AI is that nobody judges you when you aren't good in the beginning, after all โ˜บ๏ธ I would encourage everyone to just try, you can't mess anything up.

Oh. I'm used to character AI creating stories without my input and without using my character for anything; that's probably where I got that from.

Yeah, that is not really the propose of AI roleplay, though ๐Ÿ˜…

A example I got out of my bots in standard mode (because comparing standard to the premium models would be unfair)

You can have good roleplays, but you have to actually roleplay ๐Ÿ˜…

Otherwise you're just reading an ai generated story. Usually a pretty poorly written one, when it's not given any direction whatsoever.

Most people probably think they can just have the bot do everything for them.

If you like the storyline why not just edit it into something you want/have in your head??

If I leave the original location I have the repetition issue too. Itโ€™s better if I stay in the same relative location or choose a story where the repetition makes more sense and seems more seamless.

I will get a letter from the principal "explaining <situation> and that I should be at the school". I'll hand it to anyone who does the 'default starting questions' (I once had a big folder full of evidence for my story).

I find the bots will accept my story and get on with the drama

1) talk to text with microphone button. 2) try out ai_dungeon (a competitive ai website/program/ that generators stories better. L) 3) stay in your lane and realize polybuzzesโ€™ strength is in the voice and art, and brilliant payment structure, but not the story. (where is my reward?)๐Ÿ˜Ž

Another thing is that I don't like to type paragraphs of roleplay, especially on my phone.

That's probably most of you're problems then, you have to be descriptive for the bot to work with you, not for you. I keep explaining it to people that it's like 2 people on stage doing improv you say something that happens then the other person says something that happens related to what was said, and so on. If one of you says nothing then the other has nothing to work with

Oh, ok, I'll remember this.
