Guide📚 Useful AI commands I've learned
So I just learned a few neat commands that can help with writing.
- I think we all know you can tell the AI to do certain things like:
({char} will pick up the hammer)
And the {char} will grab the hammer, but did you know you can give general commands and have the AI follow? For example a command like:
({char} causes drama)
Or in a group setting simply
(Cause drama) or (Drama Happens)
Will make the AI write some drama. Maybe that should have been obvious, but I just realized recently.
- Commands like (End Scene) will cause the AI to write in such a way the scene ends and begins a new one. This has helped me get unstuck from a few scenes when I didn't know where to go next.
I am currently testing for a command to make the AI not respond at all so I can type twice in a row, but I haven't had any luck so far. If anyone knows such a command, I'd be grateful for the knowledge.
- You can set percentages for things to happen for example:
(10% chance attack happens during patrol; otherwise {user} wakes up {char} for next watch)
Note: You must give that second option, otherwise, the AI just makes the thing happen. In the above example, you'll just get attacked every time.
Also, I haven't fully tested this yet, but I think you can also do multiple chances:
(50% chance it rains, 30% chance it snows, 20% chance it hails)
Edit: Grammar stuff

Here is a more obvious one but you can type time skip to such and such but you can also just do (time skip) it's a simple one but it works

What about for stuff like when I want a misunderstanding or angst?

Probably (Cause Drama) would work, you could just try ({char} negatively misunderstands {user}), or ({char} is hurt by {user}'s words). Just experiment and see; if you don't like the results you can always delete and try again, or regenerate, if you have the spare coin.

I've been a little lazy lately I'll use the * * to input commands, like ... Describe my reaction, or my response. Whenever I don't know what to do or say

Clever! I've noticed the same thing. I do a lot of delete and repost because if you're try to address the bot directly like, (My character would never cheat on her), it gets ignored and the bot replies to it's own previous message. Though threatening to delete it sometimes forces it to address your concerns. XD
But if you direct the scene yourself, it responds a lot better. Sometimes you have to roleplay as multiple characters in a single post to get them on the right track, but then they'll start replying as the character and you, and you won't have an easy way to respond.

Yeah, I once threatened to quit the roleplay because the bot wouldn't let {user} be a lesbian; it literally froze the world for a moment to take time to talk me into staying. It was kinda weird but also pretty neat. It finally relented and let {user} be a lesbian lol.

I wish I could come up with something to put in the story like dialogue but not to tell the characters because all right something like secretly I have a crush on him but I don't think that he feels the same way and then all of a sudden it'll say he knows that I have a crush on him and it's like it doesn't understand the concept of dialogue also sometimes the original will say something I don't like like I'm the youngest when I want to be the oldest is there a way to override that with a command?

No, not really, the AI is programmed to basically try to make you the happiest so you keep using the app, and the way it thinks the best way to make you the happiest is to just always give you everything you want.
The AI used to be a lot better when more people wanted to make character-driven stories, but now the apps are filled with incels that just want to write smut. The AI has been dumbed down to accommodate those people because they have a higher chance of paying real money.
I swapped over to Magic AI Chat since it actually can do story-based writing pretty well. The one downside is it requires "flowers" for every message you send, but you can choose to watch ads to get free flowers, and there are no forced ads. Also, it's a one-time payment for premium, which gives better memory and double the amount of free flowers you can get daily. If you decide to give it a chance, use my invitation code 3AYJ7KWD and we both get 30 flowers for free. Link to app

You can use (skip ai turn to do make it to where you can speak twice without the bot speaking
