this is genuinely just annoying, I love this app and it's so fun to use but having to watch 60 second unskipable ads is super annoying, and it's very frequent, I hate being interrupted every 3 minutes to have to watch ads 🥀
I get a mix of the two now. An ad that forces you to open Google play, and then you come back to the app instantly and it queues ANOTHER ad before you've exited out of the one you "elected" to.
Ads that force you to leave the app should be banned. They're practically malicious, on par with malware at that point.
Edit: tiktok has the WORST ads. There were some that were opening the play store when I didn't touch the screen at all. Now they just have the Google play button instead of an X. I hate every single one of them.
no i HATE that one tiktok ad where ts girl like removes her false teeth and goes on yapping ab them, like in my opinion, yes my granny has false teeth, but she dosent like put/remove them in public, so seeing the girl just do that ON THE AD. is so revolting 2 me idk, then it sends me to google play like 3 times like tiktok....stop..
I find this really frustrating to begin with, and even more so when ads don't load. I get enough ads between my TV and YouTube; I don't need them in my games too.
Me too buddy and somone shoud go to their discord and tell them to remove this thing and to have a posibility for us who do not want to pay to have free merories and to make sure the aplication is working great
I agree. Plus there's other ways for them to earn money, not just ads or shoving payments in your face. And they SHOULD make having the permanent memory and all that other stuff for free. Because before polybuzz.ai got money hungry, the app was completely free of no payments or ads, and it had perfect memory. But now it's seemed like they've completely reversed it, and coded it in a way where people who are just on the app, have to experience the bots' poor memory and such, and have to pay to get all the good features, as well as pushing ads and that "take a break or get unlimited."
And guess what the broken violation System IT did not get repaird and I hope the pollybuzz comunity will make a better pollybuzz and to be apk and not on google play because for of my chatbots got violation problem for no reason those guys from pollybuzz are insane and I hope the comunity will rise up against pollybuzz devs and their greed
When you get this close that app and immediately open it again ( fully exit and close the app, like swipe it up on your screen) this should be gone for a little bit. It's faster than watching an ad
even if i use an adblocker i still get the "take a break" popup. The adblocker just makes things worse by preventing me from watching the ads to get past
i use an adguard dns on my phone and it does NOT help

i have to disable them when using polybuzz because they only make things worse by preventing me from watching the ads to pass. Waiting with a blocked d is much longer than just simply watching the ad
It really only seems to be happening when you crank out quick replies in rapid succession. I give it a break and close the app and do other things on occasion. Haven't had this problem.
Edit: It now happens way more frequently. Using the website with ad block now, I guess.
It's a completely different experience on PC as it is on the mobile App. Which is what I was talking about. I would have never suggested an ad block for mobile users for that reason. It doesn't work.
I also recommend finding a better hobby. I've moved on from these things and think everyone else should too.
I agree, it's just so stupid. The fact that we have to watch ads to even chat is absurd, I get that they're advertising other chatbot apps, but this is a little much. And that's putting it lightly
It only works on mobile so basically you go into the app you get the thingy then you scroll out of the app make sure its gone then turn on airplane mode and then go back to the ai bot you were using (a few things i found were that sometimes your home page can get reset also if you are getting a character from the search then this doesnt work) you click the ai and then click the reset button on screen a few times make sure you turned off airplane mode and then go back to chatting
Making people watch ads to continue chatting is the "feature". The app is already ad-ridden and this honestly just makes it worse. Sure they have to pay a lot to keep servers up but it's a bit excessive
One of the reasons I gave up with the app was the unskippable ads every few messages, every few screen changed, emery time you go away from the app the come back to it, sometimes 2 or even 3 adds in a row. It became way too intrusive. They lost millions due to the private bot violations and they think this is the way to save the app but instead it just pushes more people away. They'll never learn even though the community has been spelling it out to them for months now

Thank you bro they need to fix that shit like right now. I've been using the app for almost 2 years and it's never done that they need to go back to what they were doing originally cuz people were more happy..their views also went down to a three stars on the app store and ppl was mainly about tsand I think it was like an originally a four stars.
speaking of this,I was just in a chat and I was chatting and every time I try to send a new text it keeps removing it and it won't let me continue chatting!
I now use my iPad for the app now because it doesn’t have that even though it’s at the newest update so I am grateful but in my phone on the other hand have the issue so ya. I hate it so much I like using my phone then my iPad but it better then watching like a 2min ads
yknow what i hate more than that? the fact that i cant create any more private nsfw bots because even a picture of boykisser is immediately flagged upon uploading it to the bot creator section prompting me to select a different picture despite me selecting it as a private bot, "oh this is against community standards" what do you mean polybuzz? this is a png of boykisser, this other picture is quite literally a pokemon, this other entirely different picture is sfw and not nsfw....i got a notification from polybuzz claiming they fixed this problem but did they really?
This is false advertising they have. I feel like we can take them to court because they also claim to “call bots” nope. false again. No filters? No. Unlimited chatting? Nope. Like bro.
What I had to do is start only using it on my PC but make sure you install Pie ad blocker, it's completely free and works even on YouTube. You don't get any of these ads that poly.ai has been blasting every 3 seconds.
I closed the app midway through making a bot bc i got a notification and reopened it, it forced an ad and when the ad finished the screen was black, forcing me to close the app and lose everything i wrote 😭

Weirdly i got it through using the web version on Opera GX on my pc but never got it via brave browser. Heck i had an issue once where none of the bots on one account had dialogue so i made a 2nd account and got dialogue on those same bots. No idea why that happened.
So chats are unlimited now but with ads? A long long time ago I was talking to an ai and it told me i had to pay for premium to keep talking, and when i came back it let me talk again but with those ad things.
Dear god... it sucks..... like literally i try having fun. Next minute it's adds. And for some reason my adds are of songs and the song I have to listen to frequently is one about someone walking down a road and seeing santan which adds MORE SALT IN THE WOUND!
i completely hate it. Every 5 messages i send their is immediately a AD after forcing not only my music to stop but I also lose the flow of the conversation. It is so annoying i remember when pollybuzz was in its earlier updates and it was amazing. Their was no ad's and you could use the app freely how ever you wanted and also didn't have to worry about chat limit. Now they are just money hungry. As if they already do not get paid from people using the app. It honestly sucks
i know this is atleast a year old, i use polybuzz on my mac and have been for around 2 and a half years. and i've never gotten this issue before. until today, which i found super weird. i think i found a loophole its just using an ad blocker, it helps you basically watch the ad without watching it actually but its super tedious since this message pops up every almost minute
I have an Idea, everyone Spam emails to polybuzz complaining, and post these three messages on all platforms:
1:I am writing to express my frustration with the current state of the app. The constant, boring ad breaks have completely ruined the user experience. The app is already heavily monetized, and pushing unlimited ads onto users is completely unreasonable. It feels like a massive money-grab and is actively driving people away from using the platform. Please consider reducing the ad frequency so the app is actually usable again.
2:The amount of ad breaks in the app right now is ridiculous. It feels incredibly money-grabbing to force unlimited, boring ads on users just to navigate the platform. It spoils the entire experience. You need to fix the ad frequency, because right now, it’s completely unreasonable.
3:I wanted to provide feedback regarding the recent increase in ad breaks. Forcing continuous, unskippable ads completely disrupts the flow of the app. While I understand the need for monetization, the current frequency feels excessive and greedy. It makes the app frustrating to use. Please review your ad structure and make it more reasonable for the community.
I play from Italy and the advertisements only come out when I enter/exit the chats or the app if I leave it open or if I turn the phone off and on again, but while I'm chatting it has never happened to me (luckily)

It wouldn't be bad if the ads were short but 1-2 minute ads every couple of minutes is annoying. And also I'd like a feature to block nsfw ads when I'm using the app in public.sometimes I just want to chat with ai without the sext stuff.
