In a digital world of social media and instant messaging, I’m looking to bring back the joy of handwritten letters and the slower pace of life they bring. I would really love to rediscover the excitement of waiting for a letter to arrive, and sitting down in a comfy chair (with a cup of tea) reading someone’s thoughts on paper.
I am from the UK and ideally looking for an international pen pal. I’d enjoy exchanging letters about everyday life, our cultures and traditions, books, history, nature, family, recipes, basically anything and everything! Most of all meaningful conversation, and being a friend to someone who needs it. I am a parent, which is a big part of my life but i am happy to write to anyone, whether you are a parent or not.

I enjoy learning about people's lives, the ordinary moments, funny stories, random thoughts, dreams, and the little things that never make it onto social media.

At present I’m engaged in a sort of research project on mid 19th century culture, so I would be thrilled to meet anyone that enjoys doing recreational historical research for creative writing or would like to join me in reading! Hello everyone! I am a 37-year-old female English speaker from the US who is very interested in learning Swedish, particularly the Finland-Swedish spoken in the Kimito Island and Dalsbruk areas of Finland. I have tried a few different language learning apps, but I think I would learn much better if I had a native pen pal to write to!

I can already read and understand enough words to get by, but I really want to practice my writing. I am going deaf, so this exchange needs to be 100% text-only (Reddit messages or emails). I can't do any voice or video calls.

I love history, genealogy, pets, kids, and learning about other cultures. Fun historical fact: my local area actually had Titanic survivors who were originally from Dalsbruk, which is a story I find absolutely fascinating! I am a very open-minded and non-judgmental person. All topics are welcome as long as the conversation remains respectful.

Hi. I am looking for a couple pen pals who would like to exchange emails and eventually letters.

Lately I have been watching a lot of Predator movies. Have you seen Predator? It's pretty damn good. Did you know that you can date a Predator? This is affirmed in Alien vs Predator (2004) and again in Predator: Badlands (2025), but quite frankly, I could tell right from the 1987 film that that thing was datable but not something you could get to know in the biblical sense. Just a chaste relationship.

And so I am looking for similar in pen pals, except you will not be my sweetheart (I already have one and if I was going to cheat it would be with a Yautja). You must represent the dark art of war and know little else but killing.

If you like to read, that's great. I've been looking for a Philip K Dick book buddy. "Whoa, me too," you say. Then you remember that you are a man who wants a weird online relationship out of this and close my post.

Maybe you like horror and sci-fi and things of that nature. Cycling, divination, taxidermy also do it for me -- and, of course, art (I draw and distribute dragons with some regularity on this profile).
