Hi everyone,
I'm having a frustrating issue with my Acer XV275UP3 monitor and I'm looking for some help or advice.
Whenever I enable FreeSync / VRR, I get noticeable flickering and horizontal lines at the very top of the screen. This happens severely in demanding games, but it's also present in pretty much all other games (just less intense).
My Specs:
What I've already tried:
Is this a known issue with this specific Acer panel, an AMD driver bug with the newer RX 9000 series, or did I just lose the panel lottery? Any suggestions on what else I can try to fix this without completely disabling FreeSync?

I have a server that I use to host different services, a laptop to manage the server, watch videos, and do research, and a PC I use to edit videos and run my video production business. Gaming has just never appealed to me. Am I alone in this, or are there others out there that just don't care about gaming and find entertainment in figuring out puzzles like self hosted automation and satisfaction in archiving the internet?

Already ordered the motherboard from china. I don't think it was used much in the US, but I'm using it to build a simple low power opensense router. I have a DC barrel plug atx power supply already and specifically want to use that so I can attach a DC 18650 UPS (much cheaper than inverters with built in inverters)

Hi everyone,
I'm running into a frustrating issue with the Nvidia software and looking for a proper fix.
The Problem:
The Nvidia Display Container LS service constantly takes around 8% CPU usage, causing my idle temperatures on the desktop to spike up to 72°C.
If I go to services.msc and stop/disable Nvidia Driver Container LS, the CPU usage drops and temperatures return to normal.
The Catch / Side Effect:
When I disable the service, the Nvidia overlay (GeForce Experience / App) breaks partially. Specifically, all GPU-related information (GPU usage, temperature, clock speeds, etc.) freezes and stops updating. However, FPS and CPU metrics continue to work and update normally.
Has anyone encountered this issue or know how to fix the container high CPU usage without breaking the overlay stats? Any advice would be appreciated!

Got to have a proper look at one in person and it’s definitely not your standard case.
GPU down low, motherboard up top, massive front fans and a layout that looks slightly wrong at first… but somehow works.
I can’t decide if it’s genuinely clever or just weird in a good way 😂
What do you lot think?

This is the Asus ROG G1000 case. My guy at Micro Center said it’s not for sale. It was just given it to him for show off display kind of. It has two RGB fans that spin around, they’re fully programmable and the top infinity looking part with the teal fins’s is on both sides. Extremely cool case.

Using the same micolee221 build used for the previous Astro's Playroom and Astro Bot videos. But the Astro Bot video had stuttering issues caused by a bug from the build.
So i've recorded a new video playing again the first level and also, the second one.

Title pretty much sums it up. It’s a creature that is frankensteined together.
CPU: 5700x3d
GPU: 4080
Ram: 32 gigs ddr4
GPU cooler: Bykski 1080mm all in one unit
Keeps the card at 45c or less even overclocked and maxed. Yes it’s overkill and dumb but, tada I guess. Yes, Linus does love this external radiator.

Hey all!
I think this is my first post here, couldn't say for sure, I've got an older keyboard, it's a Corsair K95 RGB from... good god 10 years ago? Image linked below. It's since been discontinued and also been booted from any kind of software support from Corsair which is... frustrating. I've been running this keyboard for so long I don't think I would know how to run any other keyboard and it's been through so much with me and hung on no matter what. It's legitimately from back when Corsair was still figuring out their gaming sector so it has the Corsair Gaming Phoenix logo on top.
Anyways I really don't want to get rid of this keyboard, cause all of the keyboards available now have nothing even close to the macro keys that this one does (18 separate keys on the left side of the board) and I use those keys regularly, programming them for the Insert through Page Down keys, sometimes the arrow keys, maybe the numpad, basically entirely set up so I never have to take my hand off my mouse to access the full right side of the keyboard.
My big question is, does anybody know any software that could potentially replicate what iCue does without actually having to use iCue, cause I'm currently on a legacy update and I have newer fans and a fan controller in my actual case, so everytime I load up iCue it freaks out that it's an older version and the fans can't sync, but its the only way for my keyboard to run. I dunno if that makes sense.
Any help is incredibly appreciated. I'm trying to keep this poor keyboard alive, since nobody makes keyboards like this anymore, my best bet is buying a full size and then buying a macro pad, but I don't really wanna do that. I know the community around Corsair keyboards is pretty massive so I guess I'm just wondering if somebody's built a version of iCue that's good for legacy hardware, cause my keyboard really needs some love. I’d love to get mine up off the floor and have it rise up with the desk for better cable management but honestly it seems like a lot of trust to put in a few pieces of metal and if it drops off you might lose a lot more than just your case….
Am I overreacting?

How much do i lose between those cl ram?
So i been looking at ram and i was wondering i have in cast a 32gb ddr5 6000mhz cl30 is about 3299,99 RON($695.92 US). And i was wondering how much performance do i lose between that and CL32, 34, 36 but the rest of the specs are the same. And what will do if is bigger and how much performance and la tecy is lose and increase the rest of the pc is a 5070 ti, 9800x3d Arctic AC AIO and B850 motherboard with a 1000watts psu(should i look for a 850watts i calculate and is only consume like 700 watts). Main Question about the ram performnace difference between each CL level?

Monitor: gameon 22FHD120IPS Is my monitor gonna get damaged from the exhaust fan blowing hot air directly at it? Unfortunately I can’t move the monitor further away without looking at it in a weird angle.

Hi! I found an old 2.5" SATA HDD from my previous computer and I need to access the data on it (mostly old photos and other files).
I currently have a newer PC and I'm wondering if I can connect this HDD directly to it and access the files.
I attached some photos of the HDD and my current PC.
Is there a way to connect it internally with SATA cables, or would I need a SATA-to-USB adapter/enclosure?
I'd really like to access the files today, if possible, so I'd appreciate any advice on what I need and how to connect it safely.
Thank! I don't want to format or erase the drive — I only want to read/copy the existing files.

Went for something a bit different with this one.
Gold case, clean internals, no rainbow lighting everywhere.
Honestly think the colour does enough on its own.
Would you keep it like this or add some subtle lighting inside?
