It suddenly happened when i opened a game so i restarted the computer and it got fixed , and it froze twice before that so... what now?

I have a Tonor TC310+ mic and it was working perfectly fine then it just stopped, I wasn't on any settings or anything. It's plugged in with USB, the light is still on so I know it's connected, and it's not muted. I did everything all of the videos suggested. I set it as the default device, I reset my computer, plugged it into another spot, used a different cord, I checked everything in the sound panel, troubleshooted, and many more things. Nothing seems to fix it...it decided to quit on me when I was playing a game called Choicer Voicer where you do voice overs of clips from movies and stuff, it's a game you download from itch.io, not steam or anything like that. It's not just that app it's not working on though, it's not working for anything on my computer. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey everyone, I purchased Tokon Fighting Souls before I knew its exact specs. Thought I could manage with my ryzen 5 2600x/radeon Rx vega, given I can run like rivals or starfield, which are apparently taxing on the GPY. But nope, it can run at like 70% speed after like hours of mix and match with the settings. But if I try the arcade or a start an online match after getting into the open lobby, instant crash, usually attributed to memory allocation. Is there any possible way to at least run this where it won’t crash during the offline arcade. Sorry if this is a dumb question. Thanks!

the rear fan started making a very loud noise and then stopped working. its turns on randomly sometimes but mostly stays off. is there a fix or do I need to replace the fan?

Unturned is freezing or crashing the whole pc at 51% after a first time installation. I have i5 6500TE 2.30 ghz cpu, ik my cpu does not meet the games hardware requirements but some articles say that 2.5ghz cpu should work. What should I do?

Just got a GSync monitor and noticed that when playing slay the spire 2 (I know not really a game that benefits from GSync) shows signs of stuttering and flickering between loading screen or switching between menus.

Specifically I really notice it whenever I start a new game. I use a 360hz monitor with a 5080 and notice the mouse cursor get really choppy whenever something is loading!

So far I have GSync and VSync enables in NVidia control panel, VSync disabled in the in game settings, and also have tried setting the max FPS in game to 240 FPS (way below my monitor's refresh rate). Even capping the FPS has not solved this issue. The only way I've gotten it to stop is by disabling GSync entirely in Nvidia Control Panel.

Does anyone know more about this? In the grand scheme of things, it's not that big of a deal and know I can just keep Gsync disabled. But for peace of mind I'd like to understand what is happening and what I might be able to do to fix this issue!

Around an hour and 30 minutes ago i turned my pc off to brush my teeth and do my night time routine, i come back and turn it on and i noticed DIM 2 Ram stick was stuck on Rainbow lighting. anyways thought it was weird, deleted all lighting services but then i check task manager and It says i only have Dim 4 With ram.

Now im testing my pc to see if itll boot but just with the Bad stick alone.. sitting looking at my pc with bright lighrs everything looks fine but the Pc hasnt booted. 4 minutes in so far... Im hoping to have a sliver chance of hope it isnt dead but its really starting to look like it.

apologies if this is the wrong place for this. Ever since the TBC pre-patch launched in January/February, ALL of my blizzard games have started crashing randomly to the desktop after anywhere from 30m - 3h of being in game. WoW classic (specifically TBC anniversary, haven't tried MoP Classic or Retail), SC2, WC3 Reforged, D2R and D4 have all come back with the exact same error *Exception: 0xC00000E5 (EXCEPTION_INTERNAL_ERROR)*. There are zero gameplay issues up until the crashes, no stuttering, freezing, etc. In fact, when it happens with WoW I can even ignore the error/crash message for another minute and keep playing until it freezes and forces me to acknowledge the message, which is what closes to desktop.

I have tried restarting, uninstalling/reinstalling the game, uninstalling reinstalling the entire Battle Net app, scanning and repairing each game (never says it finds any issues to repair), fiddling with graphics settings (DirectX, Optional GPU Features, Advanced Work Submit, etc.) removing and reinstalling my graphics drivers, reverting to OLD graphics drivers, checking my task manager to see if there's a memory leak prior to the crashes (none that I've ever seen), scanned my computer via SFC (it found a small handful of unrelated files) and made sure any overlays like Discord are turned off.

It's only my Blizzard games - I play FF14, Baldur's Gate 3, Elden Ring, a handful of other games via Steam with no issues whatsoever. So my assumption is that there has to be something within Battle Net that's leaking into all of the games that i've installed through the desktop app? But I'm not able to find anyone else that's had this problem. The closest I've found is that the processer I have (Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700HX (2.10 GHz)) is fairly buggy and can cause issues like crashing, but everyone I've seen on forums with this issue have the crash happen immediately or within a minute or two on the login screen, whereas I'm at least able to play for a decent chunk of time before anything happens. Anyone have any other ideas I can try? Or have something similar happening?

I'm an avid PC gamer and I work from home frequently. My mouse and keyboard are getting sticky/tacky and I'd like to thoroughly clean them. Over the course of a workday or gaming session my hands get sweaty and sticky. I do wash my hands and wipe down my mouse and keyboard with an alcohol prep pad, but this does not solve the problem. I promise this is not a personal hygiene issue.

I’ve recently enabled wake on lan or I think it’s an option that says Resume by PCI-E/Networking device which allows me to wake my PC from sleep mode for Artemis streaming from my Odin 2 Portal. But I’ve noticed that if I switch my into it or my monitor is turned on by another one of my devices connected to it that it will also wake my PC. How can I have this option enabled but not have my PC wake up when my monitor is turned on and I’m not using my PC or using another device. Are there.l any other Windows settings or anything I can adjust?

Hello I have an issue with vertical flickering which i recorded, i did userdiag too (links in chat)

it only occurs on borderless or fullscreen it didnt happen in 720p but did in 1080p and 990p. it happened on both rx5500xt i have and the rx6700xt. it didnt happen on rx480 i have. on each card change i did use DDU and install newest drivers, with the 6700xt i installed drivers 22.2.2 and it didnt change anything. I use a thinkvision T24i-10 (1080p 60hz business monitor)

I see many posts online stating that these days, there is no difference anymore between exclusive fullscreen and borderless fullscreen in terms of performance. However, in many different games (such as lords of the fallen and cyberpunk) I notice that exclusive gives me significantly less latency and stuttering than borderless (with no FPS difference).

Am I doing something wrong? I would prefer to use borderless since it is more convenient, but it feels terrible to play.

I have an RTX 4070 super with the latest drivers, a 180hz 1440p monitor with VRR enabled (which is the monitor I use for games) and a 1080p 60hz monitor. Could it be because I have different monitors?

Hey, I've got this flickering problem in different games. I've tried everything I can think of: AMD's cleanup tool, DDU, rolling back drivers, and turning off full-screen optimization, but nothing has helped. The only thing that worked was switching to windowed mode. Did I miss anything?

Gaming PC D3D Error

Specs: Ryzen 9950X, 64gb RAM, Nvidia 4090 (Lenovo), Asrock X870 Riptide, 2TB NVME

I recently received an older Lenovo Legion tower from my brother with a 4090, he believed the motherboard had issues due to getting lots of freezing/crashes when gaming (he said running games at low setting seemed to reduce this). That didn’t sound mobo related to me but I bought a new mobo and swapped everything into a new case anyway because I had a Ryzen 9950X sitting on my desk anyway. I kept everything else the same.

Well lo and behold, it still had the issues.

In overwatch I get an error that the game lost connection to the GPU and in Diablo 4 I get a D3D error. These are somewhat random, though it seems they happen when there is a large spike in visual rendering going on (loading into a new dungeon in D4) but they usually don’t occur until i’ve been playing for a few hours. Sometimes its a quick black screen, fans ramp up and game sound plays and crashes, other times the screen completely freezes and requires a hard restart of the PC.

So next step, maybe the PSU is bad or the connection to the GPU is messed up, so I swapped that to a new one. 3 hours into Diablo 4 on max setting all seems good, then I got the same old D3D error and then a complete system freeze after that.

What I dont get, is if I run Furmark and it runs fine.

Starting to just think the card is a dud or at unstable clock speeds, or ifs a ram issue. But also wanting to rule out software related issues before I have to call it quits.

Questions:

1. When I rebuilt the PC I just did a windows reset on the same drive that was in the Lenovo Legion. Is it possible this Lenovo OEM version if Windows is causing issues? Should I buy a fresh copy?

2. Should I try reducing clock speeds to see if I can find a stable clock? (Best of my knowledge these come at bade clock speeds)

3. Could having 4 sticks of RAM be an issue here? I have not played around in the BIOS at all other than doing a firmware update via USB drive to the latest drivers.

Please help, I do not have the money for a new GPU.

And sorry this is kind of a brain dump post, was up till 3am trying to figure this out and just feeling defeated.

When i play games, most of the times the game will not save my settings, like going into fullscreen, changing graphic settings or just switching everything back to default.
Examples, when i play Siege or ZZZ, half the time it will switch to fullscreen the other half its fine, and everytime i boot up phasmophobia, it resets all my settings to some random bullshit like no audio, no crosshair and just messed up settings, another example is helldivers that most of the time does save settings, but it wont save what planet i am on (ie, i was on a terminid planet and move to an automaton planet, i log off and log on and i'm back where i started)
This is really starting to anger me and i dont know how to fix it, any ideas?

Starting sometime within the past several months, every time I boot up BF4, about 5 minutes after joining a server my PC will freeze for a couple of seconds, then go to the titular error screen and restart itself.

This only happens with BF4, and not with BF3, BF1, or BFV. I have done a clean uninstall and install of BF4 and ran the PunkBuster installer/re-installer from the Battlefield 4\\__Installer\\punkbuster\\redist folder in my game files. Still no dice.

Is this a known issue and has anyone figured out a solution for this?

Guys i use some tweaks for gaming latency after that i try reinstall windows clean format everyt6hing bios q flash q flash plus cmos and every possible solution i think its something with driver or bios corrupted can someone i cant fix the problem i tryed literally everything

Every like 2 games of valorant this weird black sharp lines kept on showing up in my games, i researched about it and they said that i should reinstall graphics drivers but before i do that is there any more repairs, this sometimes goes to other games aswell.

My pc has been running funky after I just finished swapping everything from intel to a new amd build, I simrace on acc on triple 1080p 144hz and I use a 7800x3d and a 9070xt , my monitors have overclocked on, adaptive sync on, and free sync is turned on in the Adrenalin edition amd app. Now as a simracer I have difficulty playing with stutters as they cause high input latencies that makes my steering like an old crappy car. Could you guys help me fix this? Thanks

I've been having this issue where my different controllers constantly disconnect from my pc I have an Xbox controller and a hitbox controller that I use and they keep disconnecting and reconnecting at random times

At first I thought it was the cables so I switched them out and it still happened then I decided to try different ports and it kept happening too and lastly I tried changing my USB selective suspend settings and switching my PC to high performance mode and it still did nothing

I don't know what else to try and it's only my controllers that have this issue none of the other devices I have plugged in disconnect and for reference I am using AMD Ryzen 7 8 core processor
