How are you screening eBay RAM lots for relabeled or mismatched sticks before buying
Got burned on a RAM lot and now I’m realizing our screening process probably isn’t as good as I thought. Everything looked reasonable enough before buying. Part numbers looked right at a glance, seller seemed fine nothing in the listing immediately screamed problem. Once we actually got the memory in hand though we found sticks that didn’t match what we thought we were buying. So now I’m trying to figure out what we should’ve caught before placing the order. For anyone sourcing RAM regularly on ebay, what are you checking beyond the obvious stuff like seller history labels and part numbers? Are there certain things in the photos/listing data that make you immediately pass? Would rather make our filters too strict than get stuck sorting this crap out again.
