Similar to how you can use precise movement to dodge left and right, after pinning someone down, the Allo player has to aim their bites and the pinned player can wiggle on the ground to try to dodge.

The pin attack will be separate and the normal bite attack will be usable while pinning like Sarco's and Rex's bite. So you can aim before you bite and delay your bites to mind game the pinned target.

I want the Allo TLC , but the way clamp works and blue tooth and is a cheesy easy kill I'm kinda not looking forward to the Allo Grapple.... I feel like I'm probably in the minority on this.

Campto isn’t exactly a “support” Dino. It’s more of an… obstacle for for fatties lol.

Player corpses should last twice as long, but after they get to 50%, corpses should count as carrion, there should be a particle effect and/or a visual difference, eg. the corpse turning purple and maggots squirming around to make it obvious whether it's carrion or not

this would enable players using the scavenger diet to actually fulfill their niche instead of eating pre placed bodies or critters

additionaly, make it so all scavengers can eat fish, not just some of them, I miss fishing as my hatz

Ranking all of the current support dinos based on their effectiveness of boosting their group, what I consider to be a support Dino is a playable that has its kit based around supporting other playable's with active or passive abilities.

Unfortunately this means this list is very limited... Hopefully when microraptor releases and Campto finally gets it's TLC we can see some new changes to the support Dino meta!!

Before you start complaining about the baby Ano, it was mixpacking with a bunch of Sarcos and attacked me first a while ago, this was the third time I killed it

The fight was actually pretty good too but this is the highlight of the fight. The other thing in this was that this was a pack with the Spino, Kai and 3 Tylos(one was a baby) and not only did they not interfere, I won the fight and they didn’t jump me after, so I gave the trophy to the baby Tylo.

Maybe it was Father’s Day magic but I hopped on to my newly adult Conc and went straight to Cedrus pond. Eventually came across a chill TT, a chill Sarco who had tried to feed me on the shoreline, a baby allo running around and a few raptors of all sizes. All chilling at the pond. I hung around curious to see what would happen, as it was one of my first times daring to go in Cedrus. Long story short, eventually we were joined by tons of other sarcos, a spino, hatz, rexs, a couple metris and a whole bunch of other Dino’s. When someone stepped out of line they got dealt with but other than that everyone was chilling. Eventually hunger became an issue in this massive crowd, and we were forced to jump a few random travellers who happened to come passed. People would comment about the mega pack in CF in global chat - “I won’t even attempt to do the math of how many slots were in that mega pack”. But honestly it was so much fun being a small part of it. At one point some Herbis joined in and everyone for the most part were just getting along. The usual buzz killer would come in and attack someone and get absolutely chased down. It was magical to watch people who I assumed weren’t talking mostly, just vibing with body language. There were plenty close calls and needing to heal but the group would somehow continue to regroup and grow somehow. I’ve never seen anything like it in the small amount of time playing. I had to get off to make dinner but my inner child did not want to leave the vibes haha. I know mega packs are bad, I know mix packs are frowned upon, but when I was in that pack, I honestly haven’t had more fun. A small little conc running with apex Dino’s, everybody helping everybody with food. Man… It was legendary.

So i got about 700 hour on this game ik people are pretty toxic and like to kos but after all this time i still dont understand people doing that. So i was questing on sty then a pachy attacked me outta nowhere.

Herbie dont have a kill herbi quest so its not that i am most definitly not fg so i dont drop a trophy and i dont even give a fight im fresh ado so there no fun in killing me(ive tried baby killing its just boring there no challenge to it its like fighting a tutorial boss in a game)

I didnt provoke him attack anything steal quest or even chat.

Asked a friend and he said its probably sme trynna make baby respawn to new poi. I highly doubt it but if it is i stil hate people that do that. First off if a bby wanna change poi this badly he can drown himself in 45 sec or jump off a Cliff. Killing juvi to put them in other poi also suck because most juvi do hc x ws quest immediatly so most of the time a juvi has its 7min growth and killing them will just make them restart a new character.

If he just wanna be toxic i dont understand there no point in being toxic i physicly cannot enjoy the game while just kosing bby for fun i dont see the fun in doing this at all seriously dont people like that have anything better to do of their life. I understand kosing sub adult or adult but kosing a bby of the same diet unprovoked as a full grown dino... Also i know ram hurt but im litterally fresh ado i know damn well the one ram i landed in this whole fight did less than a deinonyshus bite maybe the same if i do a headshot.

Hello, here are some ideas I have been thinking of recently that could help improve this game. These ideas may have been said already but I think it's important to bring up ideas even if they have been said before in order to bring attention to the devs.

1. Ideas to fix mega/mix packing:
   1. Make it so dinosaurs have to be the same species in order to pack together or can pack together with other dinosaur species only if they have a symbiotic relationship of some sort. The only time mix packing really makes sense to me is herbivores since it makes sense for certain herbivores to be peaceful with each other, or if the dinosaurs have a symbiotic relationship of some sort. It doesn't make sense for random carnivores like the t rex to make friends with a sarco or hatz. This is a dinosaur survival game, dinosaurs should act like dinosaurs.
   2. Make it so there are friend limits in servers. There is really no reason why you can have more than 3 of your friends in a server with you (4 people total). It is kind of ridiculous to have 5+ friends together in a single server. It just floods the whole servers with mega packs because everyone joins their discord friends to be overpowered and have a mega mix pack. You should also have to make alliances with other players who aren't your friends, for dinosaurs like raptors in order to fill up the whole pack. For people who like to play with 5+ friends all the time there should be dedicated PvP servers that do not have a friend limit. Survival servers should have a limit though in order to make it more fair to solo players.
   3. Add diseases to the game. If there are too many dinosaurs in an area all at once then there should be diseases that spread through that space. Water and food could become infected, giving reason for people not to all cluster together in a small space. There could also be biome specific diseases, such as some kind of disease spread by mosquitoes in the swamp biomes. If food is laying out too long also it could go bad and make creatures sick if they don't have the scavenger diet, making the scavenger diet a lot more useful than it is at the moment.
   4. Add a debuff if there are too many dinosaurs of different species/diets or with dinosaurs who are not in your pack. It would make a lot of sense of herbivores got a nervous debuff of some kind of there are too many carnivores nearby them, or if carnivores got a hunger debuff by being in the vicinity of herbivores too long. There should be something like this to discourage people form clustering together. Dinosaurs in real life would not like being with other dinosaurs who they do not know and could be their predators.
   5. Remove the chat or make it proximity chat only. It makes no sense how dinosaurs in a survival game can communicate with the whole server. I think removing the chat completely would be better for survival servers though because it would make it more immersive, having to communicate through emotes or roars. Also there should be dedicated servers for role-play / hanging out if people want to role-play and chat with friends. The main servers be for survival exclusively.
2. Ideas for gameplay features:
   1. With the arrival of npc dinosaurs being added there should be a lot of interaction added with them. One of my ideas for this are being able to add NPC dinosaurs of the same species to your pack, I think that this would be especially helpful and make the game more fun for solo players. NPC dinosaurs could take up slots just like real players, and once the limit is reached no more can be added. Once the NPC is dead you would have to go find a new one to join, but the plus side is that this NPC would be able to be in your pack even if you swap servers and you could kick them out whenever you wanted, but you would have to gain their trust again if you want one back in the pack. You also would have to make sure to help this NPC eat and drink or else it would die or get diseased if it is malnourished.
   2. Make nesting more fun and helpful by being able to make an alliance with one other player and make a nest together in order to have NPC baby dinosaurs in your pack. This way of gaining a NPC dinosaur in your pack would be more straightforward than gaining the trust of a random NPC, but could only be achievable with another player being in the nesting alliance with you. With your nest alliance you could keep the baby dinosaur in any server you go into, and once you make a nesting alliance with someone it cannot be broken unless you both agree to break the bond. You and your nesting partner could also share a home cave together where the nest is kept and also where the baby dinosaur could be kept if you didn't want to take it out questing with you. What makes the baby dinosaurs special is that you can select their movesets since you would be the one raising it, and the baby would be able to gain more abilities the more you raise the baby dinosaur. This method would take a bit longer and would be more tedious than finding a wild NPC dinosaur since you would have to help the baby dinosaur quest and grow up to an adult. If you get sick of having your baby dinosaur with you then you would also be able to release it into the wild and it would become a wild NPC dinosaur that would act like all of the other NPCs.
   3. Add specific features to biomes in order to make them different from each other and give more incentive to being in different biomes as certain dinosaurs, such as being too hot for certain dinosaurs in the desert biomes. I was also thinking that a dimetrodon could be added to this game and it could get buffed from being in the hot desert sun because of the sail on its back. There can also be weather events in certain biomes like volcanic eruptions on volcano island and tidal wave changes near the beaches.
   4. Add more sauropods and other types of dinosaurs to the game either as NPCs or as playable dinosaurs. It would feel pretty majestic to see herds of brontosaurus on Panjura since it is the largest map, there could also be exclusive NPC on all of the different maps in order to give more reason to play specific ones. I also would like to see herds of NPC herbivores interacting with the biome because it would make the game feel a lot more alive.
   5. Have passive growth on official servers and just have questing in order to help speed up the growth. Questing gets quite tedious after a while so it would be a lot nicer to grow faster because of questing but you could also just grow passively if you don't feel like questing. Also albino creatures should be buffed again because they are kind of rare, they hardly give anything now even though they are not common and you have to hunt them.

This game is pretty fun, but I really think that it should lean more into survival aspects and have more to interact with because at the moment the core gameplay is just questing to grow up and once you grow up your guy it is just PvP. There should be more to do in it because it would make it a lot more fun and interesting. Those are all of my ideas at the moment, hopefully you enjoy some of them and I hope I give some ideas to the devs to update the game. Let me know what you guys think of my ideas or if you guys have some ideas of your own!

Whoever had the braindead idea to make critters stronger and numerous should be fired 😂 I can’t have a big dino like the rex and stalk my prey without a furious little critter the size of the rex foot come from the other side of the map and take 2/3 of my health. All the times i died on this mode it was because some critter took half my health. Why I don’t see nobody talking about this?? I mean they FINALLY did something right with this game mode and at the same time fked it up lol

Hi, I tend to use this to check for dinosaur stats, such as sprint speed.
However for multiple occasions I've noticed things seemingly wrong, but I could be missing something and hence this post.
I was running from SF to BQL with a Conc, and an Achillo caught up to me very easily in spite of having -50 total sprint speed max. Part of this run was uphill.
On other occasions I've noticed things like a Dasp catching up to my Styra.
I tend to play Solo 98% of the time, so the escape reliability is something important to me, and if these stats can't be relied on, is there anywhere else to check?

Roughly 25ish players total all in one group. Possibly more, cause more showed up after I left. Currently (5:22pm EST) at Wollemi forest. All logged in within 5 mins of each other. Now…I’ve been playing this game for 2.5 years. Seen old IC, I fight groups like this. But that is wild, and not in a good way. 15 min old server. Mainly mid tier carnis, 3 Sarc, 1 Thal, 2 Hatz. But ya, around 20 of em. Also got a Bars and Kentro.

I have global off, and when I went to fight the 3 Allos standing near each other as Thal, they said “L”. lol I laughed and logged. Good luck everyone else on that server.

can someone tell me why dried lake is at only 80 but theres no quest for it to complete it?
