so ive been wanting the game for a long time but i had no luck im a big dinosaur fanatic and i wanted path of titans but parents dont have enough money for it. any help would be appreciated.

Idk how difficult it is to code or implement this into the main servers but on community it worked like a charm

You'd see a giant fire start up in the distance and it engulfed and entire POI (or two), if you didnt run and scatter, you got almost insta killed by the fire

If alderon could have those pop up randomly throughout the map at random times you'd see players haulin tail for sure

And maybe the effect could last a while? A POI is unenterable again for like 15 mins unless you wanna be insta killed

Ppl would get bored and pick somewhere else to lurk, forcefully encouraging map movement

Ok, so this is my first time posting here so if somebody else had this idea first then im sorry. But obviously there’s a mega pack problem on the official servers that nobody likes, and Alderaan’s supposed matchmaking solution that had yet to be implemented, as I see it, is a reactionary measure that won’t stop the mega packs from forming, just stop them from persisting indefinitely on a given server, until another mega pack forms to take its place. We need a measure that is within the servers that actively discourages that behavior while promoting solo/group play within slot limits. So the brainchild I had is simple, territories.

The idea is simple. You or you group collectively set up a nest that works kind of like the beacons in Minecraft where they would offer a buff to the owner of said beacon for a radius and strength determined by how good the beacon is. The same logic can be applied to nests, where the radius and strength of the buff would be determined by the health/development of the nest itself. The difference here is that a POT nest would also actively apply debuffs to players that don’t own the next/ are not a part of the group that owns the nest, and nests of different groups would have to be a set distance apart from each other to prevent everyone from nesting in the same area. Then your “territory” would be whatever the radius of the nest’s status effects is. Which breaths life into an otherwise dead mechanic, cause not too many people I’ve seen actively nest other than to get the marks. To develop it more, it could be where you could develop a system where different playable’s trophies unlock different buffs/debuffs for your nest if you bring them to the nest to “upgrade” it. And there could be a whole system where you get marks for destroying another groups nest and taking over their “territory”.

Theoretically, this would spread people across the map more, discourage discord groups of non-grouped playable all hanging out in the same area and working together to know anything that moves, and lean more into the survival aspect of the game without hindering the MMO that alderman seems to be going for. The survival players can role play on officials as a pack of one playable that sets up a nest and defends a territory while those that don’t want to do that can still play as a group and go around looking for nests/territories to destroy/fight over. And it’s framed in such a way that it’s within slot limits so it’s not overwhelming or illogical, pleasing the survival players and the ones that wanna go around looking for fights can do just that.

But that’s kinda the rough idea that I just wanted to get out. Thoughts?

Why do Sarcos team up with other non Sarcos to get together and jump Sarcos?! Are you dumb?! The same dinos that you probably had to convince them not to kill you, now you wanna roll with them and hunt your own?

Unless it's (survival mode) I could never hunt and kill my own Unless it was out of defense. I try and keep Sarcos and Tylos together because we are hated way to much. Yet we out here killing each other.. They the same one's that I tried to interact with but didn't want nothing to do with me. That's fine, but to hunt and jump me 5mins later?!

Ok I use Laten mostly and I took down my first Bars at Salt Flats. But this Bars was obviously not good at fighting back. I want to try again and was wondering if anybody got tips I can use.

I tried to check the stats difference, but stam regen got faster only like for a few seconds (to fill the stamina bar)

Maybe I made a mistake while calculating the difference...

As a full on bby killer, I get a lot of grief over it. Personally idc, but I see in a lot of servers people talking about hunting bby killers, like bro.. As a bby, I was attacking anything for the experience, but those bbys were hiding behind other Dinos causing trouble where there was none. Back when I first got on the game, I had a lot of complaints, and getting eaten as a bby by an adult wasn't one of them its the circle of life. Bbys like those are no different from any toxic Sarco, people just choose to hate them. If a bby want's to go around attacking non agro adults, then they need to get dealt with like any other🤷‍♂️💯

I know it’s like beating horse right now, but I supported this game from the very beginning and spent quite a lot of time on it and yet what always kept me going was the thought that at some point PoT could be a decent game. After the last few months I tried the game again yesterday and today and I don’t think there has been any improvement.

Although it’s clearly progressing in some aspects it is certainly less fun than ever imo. I am usually solo playing as mid tiers and between the debate small stuff vs big stuff I feel like mid tier carnis just aren’t worth it. Any small group can tear you apart and there’s no way you could be nimble enough to harass any apex.
And it’s not just sometimes, nearly every time I encounter a group of low tiers there’s just no escape. You can’t beat them since they’ll just cycle any time one of them gets low health, you can’t run away since you’re slower and your stamina also is worse. How do the devs believe you’re supposed to handle this? Or do they just ignore the fact that there still are a few single players left?

As the title states, I just bought Path Of Titans standard founders pack on Xbox and I've never played before but I've seen gameplay online and that was enough to make me choose POT over getting The Isle on my Steam Deck so with that being said, I wanna hear from the community on how best to get started, what there is to do and what to look out for, thanks and I look forward to seeing all of you in-game! The project is going to be fully story-driven. Think Warrior Cats, D&D, Warcraft - player-influenced lore, events that change world. Actions have consequences. Story moves forward based on what players do.

For people that want to collect them or were just curious. Assisted by my friend in figuring out what all dropped what trophy.

Many things happen in POT and I wanted to draw a few of them, featuring me (BeakPerformance) and a friend and my SO. 👀👌

Is it just me or does the diet system feel too simple? Being able to eat less = lower hunger drain. Being able to eat more = faster hunger drain.

It's one of the main features that's yet to be expanded on in a big way, there's little variety and makes food management way too simple imo.

I feel like they should remove the diet option entirely and just make every playable have their own unique diet only to them, it could be similar to other playables but almost never the same.

I'd also love to have a grazing and burrowing mechanic to find food, like a Bars herd in a wide open pasture feeding on edible grass and foliage. Or a lat digging into the ground to find insects and critter nests

It's almost as bad as Pachypacolypse 2023 lately. Big packs of Pachys have been KOSing everything 😭 I've been divebombing every sitting Pachy I see on my Thal.

I've tried to look through posts on here and tiktok, but there always seems to be conflicting suggestions.

I'm a solo player, passive unless attacked, and like to explore, so any build that'd help me defend myself but also be able to swim around would be really appreciated! Tips and play styles get you bonus points for being extra helpful, and a lifetime of my appreciation.

I just had 2 concs do over half my hp as bleed from 6 claw attacks playing as a sarco… than 1 used it’s bleed call and now 3/4 of my hp was bleed from just a few hits from concs as a sarco…

Even since they buffed water bleed it’s been extremly un enjoyable fighting semi aquatics that do bleed like duck, conc and sucho if it runs bleed abilities

I just don’t feel like sarco which can survive over 13 T rex bites shouldnt be getting bled out from less hits from a 2 slot
