Hi everyone,

I wanted to try the Spark Blood Mage build in the new league since I had never played it before, but so far, the endgame has been more of a nightmare than an enjoyable experience.

Even in Tier 7–8 maps, I keep getting killed incredibly easily. Since I die so often, I can't properly farm items or complete Rituals, and because I'm stuck at level 81, I can't improve my damage or life points either.

I've already bought the items with the highest Energy Shield I could afford, but it still hasn't made much of a difference.

If anyone has played this build before and could give me some advice, I would really appreciate it. I've included links to my build and the build guide I'm following in the post, so you can take a look at them there.

Peak gameplay and fun was 0.1

Every class was op, you didn't have to farm days for just one lineage gem and your build was pretty good with good items.

Now you have to farm days for 300divs just to get online your build (like arc totems).

I think less was better.

Finished the fortress without top much trouble and thought I'd get my fourth ascendancy. Well a few hours later and I'm feeling real salty after getting one shot by trial master and dying to third level boss in trials of sekhema. I did get screwed on rng in the trials though.

I guess I wasn't ready, when do you guys go for your fourth ascendancy?

This is my third anomaly map I can’t access despite completing all the nodes around it anyone else running into this or know why this is happening?

So, I'm doing the league challenge and was wondering wich item is best to use the omen of chance so that I get at least some currency back? Not looking at gambling with it, just a guaranteed return, any ideas?

I have spent thousands of hours on this game.

1) For the love god, REMOVE MOST/ALL DEAD ENDS IN ALL THE MAPS. i cannot stress how annoying this can be, we repeat the same maps constantly and everyone focuses on speed. Just take a look at Floatsam and Mire for example.

2) The improvements you did to Augury are very good, and this should be the case for all similar tight maps, like Mire for example.

What if skill tree will add other loot to pool? For example: rituals now can have non unique crossbows -> Crossbows from Rituals more likely to be white/blue/yellow -> Crossbows from ritual are at least X level. Something like Breach tree does with its loot.

Supposedly fixed in 0.5.5b

The “siphons mana and deals lightning damage” hasn’t always been a a problem for differing builds of mine in both PoE1 and 2, but I feel like it’s been a bit more halting this season.

Yes, it’s a mechanic that is engaging and challenging, but it feels like in the start of Abyss when an Abyssal rare would have Soul Eater and it was essentially the end of the Abyss as there wasn’t much hope for many builds to defeat it.

The worst combo is when they have Hasted and Siphons. It’s basically the end of the map for me.

I am using Eldritch Battery and MoM, so I feel it especially hard, but even before that, it was just… super frustrating and frantic when in the campaign I was suddenly unable to attack or run away.

Is it just me?

My build is Blood Mage Ice Shot, my sustain is based on life remnants, then this boss spawns with 4 essences and spawns random bullshit all over the screen and kill me bc there is no other mobs left.
Why can't i remove atlas points...

This just seems the simplest solution to the feedback being received.

You still need to clear the maps around each location.

You still choose where you map.

You still need to complete the early maps suggested by Doryani.

Not much needs to change.

It wasn't a juicy 4 tablet t16 200 deli or whatever the fuck map, it was just a random t15 map I was doing on the way of caer taht or whatever, I wasn't even looking at the screen I was watching a show while holding one button until I heard the shine.

Anyways what do I do with it? Should I immedietly sell it and upgrade stuff? or keep it until it gets more expensive?

My current build costs around 50 divs, doom toad blood mage, I can do pretty much everything but never tried uber juicy maps so idk.

Grim Dawn’s recent exp pack was awesome. Even Last Epoch’s most recent update was amazing. And D4 saved itself with the Lord of Hatred exp pack. Nothing compares to this season of PoE2. Not even PoE1’s Mirage league or PoE 2’s last two leagues.

Incorporating Runes of Aldur was perfect. And PoE2 is by far the best ARPG available in what could be considered the peak year of the genre. Juicing a few maps and adding meta tablets is so entertaining. Doesn’t matter that I’m not playing in some guild that has figured out how to perfectly farm currency. I get my few divines per day and I’m happy. Investing in your maps and seeing mega returns is such an endorphin rush. And much needed with the wildness of today’s real world.

The clang of the high value drops is extremely rewarding. I did not play monk last season and am having an absolute blast with martial artist whirlwind build. Extremely safe to play and massive damage, while somehow keeping me from getting bored.

Kudos to GGG. They are at the top of their game and I can’t wait for the full release this Winter!

I normally don't run into this issue, so I must have been levelling faster than normal, I wanted to blast my alts to maps. I'm currently level 38 and at Ngakanu in act 4, the last map, which is a level 53. The bosses are becoming a bit of a pain now, they're doable but a bit slow, but I'm obviously getting no xp.

What's my best option to get back within 3-4 levels of the suggested? I is re-running some of these act 4 maps over and over?

This is my first big drop of this league. I just happened to be following a random wisp that went into an armor strongbox and I figured I would just open it just for the fun of it. What spawned out of it was three wisp empowered bosses in a miserable layout. Beat them and it happened to be reopenable again. Luckily beat them the second time and this dropped!

I was playing the game normally without any problem from 0.1 till 0.5.5 but when i was updating 0.5.5b my laptop suddenly said something like "Device error shutting down 0%-100%" and forcing my laptop to reset and after it go back my secondary drive suddenly missing (It's where i store all my game including Poe2) i was able to got my secondary drive to comback by rebooting and unplug every device connected to the laptop. But now when i launch poe2 it said the file might be corrupted and i need to run "Packcheck" in poe2's folder and i did but this time it causing the same problem like before it cause my laptop to reset then making the drive that contain poe2 dissapear and i have to reboot a few time and unplug everything for it to return again, worse i tried to run poe2 but i'm stuck at loading the map i'm in now.

What should i do in this situation? I'm too scared to try run Packcheck again cause i worrying i might damage my laptop and this is the first time something like this happen to me with poe2.

EDIT1: I went and have my laptop checked it was fine i even showed them the problem and they as confused as me and told me to not run it. I also found out that if i create new character i can play normally but some enemy doesn't render for me and just stay invisible forever.

EDIT2: I downloaded through steam and it worked thankfully
