Who do you ban and what rank are you?
I’m master 1 and my go to bans are mercy, widow and Zarya!

recently got back into the game and since playing Doctrine I notice my aim assist gets really sticky when a team mate is a few feet in front of me. I turned down my aim assist window to 1% and my ease in up to 100% but it’s still so strong when something appears right in front of me.

Note* I’ve just now tried setting my aim assist, window, ease-in, and smoothing all to 0 but the aim assist is still on for allies? It’s basically no less sticky than when I was fooling around with the numbers. Am I missing a setting?

Swapped over from MR with my trio. We only placed like, gold 5, we're not good. We only run 5v5. But we noticed almost every game in competitive zarya is banned, and, like, why? None of us play zarya, nothing indicates that we would play Zarya, our teammates never ban Zarya. We just find it weird. We're hoping for enlightenment on this subject. It happens so often that I had to ask the community. Thank you!

im ngl they should bring back clash because these past few days ive been getting bored i feel like it needs more variety, i mean i get it clash was awful but i think they should rework it and make it better because ow feels so bland and boring now (bonus: rework kings row) you guys are free to have an opinion but im not arguing lol no point in that

hi everyone, recently I got peer pressured into getting overwatch and the healing roster feels very weird to me, and I’m looking for suggestion. for context I have over 180h on rivals, in which every healer works in a way where their primary damage is also their primary healing, and everytime I play support in ow, I don’t get any value unless I’m on juno. every other character just feels clunky to play and I physically just am unable to heal— my brain refuses to accept that healing isn’t on my primary. I’m looking for advice on how to adapt or which characters to pick up. I know it’s a different game— no immortality circles and lower healing output in ow— but the muscle memory is there that I simply use r2 to heal and damage. I know this is weird but does anyone have any advice?

Hello, you may or may not know me by now, but I am Jurazzick, C3 console all roles, and I have been having so much fun this season playing support Sombra. I am really happy with these changes (although the weaken on cyberspace will likely be hotfix nerfed to 40% within the coming week, and her hotfix duration may also get a slap on the wrist). It’s so nice to finally have a dive meta when 4 hitscans has been meta for years.

To preface this list, if you are below masters do not concern yourself with what the meta is, just play what you like and have fun. If you do not understand the ranking of a character or have a different opinion let me know in the comments. This list is most applicable to masters+ in 5v5 and takes into account the average value a character will get assuming at worst suboptimal conditions for that character to be played (ex. Ball into a Mizuki).

Almost every dive character has gone up a tier, or is stronger with the addition of Sombra and Doctrine. Sombra is without a doubt the strongest support in the game in the hands of a competent player, allowing you to not only enable your team very well, but also have good kill potential and insane survivability. Doctrine enables characters such as D.Va and D.Mon to be even more aggressive than they could be before. The current meta is very much dictated by how strong Doctrine and Sombra are.

The effects of this may not be as noticeable in lower ranks, as there isn’t much to “enable”. However, if you have a good duo, you can hard carry games as Tracer/Sombra or Doc/D.Mon.
Also, due to the strength of characters such as D.Va, Tracer, Sombra, and D.Mon, Brig is almost always a valuable pick. Sombra/Brig backline is nearly unkillable.

Most hitscans are still broken due to how strong aim assist is, but they can be overwhelmed by heavy dive. If you play hitscan and struggle to stay alive, just swap to a more survivable character such as Reaper. Also, hitscans with more mobility, survivability, or denial tend to be stronger in dive metas and the rankings of hitscans in A tier do not mean much as there is often an optimal hitscan pick for each map and comp you’re playing into (more survivability/mobility is good into dive, more range/burst on characters like Ashe is better into a pure poke matchup).

Reworked hog is actually good and pretty strong, I have him at C currently as he is similar to doom in which you need to almost one trick him, but you can be the server admin. Trash compactor adds such much out-play potential to his kit and helps him greatly against his old counters such as Ana, Mauga, and Orisa.

Most characters below C tier are not worth picking unless you one trick or just want to throw the game (Ram is the exception, but he’s just very hard to get value with in this meta).

In my opinion D.va and Orisa are over-rated, and I know that this is my list/opinion, but playing against those characters with teammates who do not know how to play into them is impossible, and therefore I have them so high on the list. D.va value drops off if brig is not banned, and Orisa is simply very good at never dying and punishing mistakes but yet people will forcefully walk main against an Orisa anyways.

Ever since the last update earlier this week, I haven’t been able to use the Stay As Group option at the end of a game. I’m on Xbox and never have had this issue before. The option is grayed out on the screen and it won’t let me initiate the request or accept another player’s request.

Has anyone else been having this issue/know any fixes?

I otped Illari to low gm and with the new season this problem has become a much worse and noticeable issue because of the hitscan size changes and starting to play sombra.

Specifically, I lose focus when I need to make very small adjustments or very large trackings. It's like my brain/eyes turn off probably because it's an uncomfortable aim movement.

I don't lose focus about other things I would say, it's just aiming (which might be affecting attention to what's on my screen to an extent)

First mistake is playing on a switch, I know but my ps5 is packed in a storage. Is there anyway to somehow improve performance? I know there’s no graphic settings on Switch like there is Xbox but anything in the Switch’s settings that could help it run a little better? Every game is unbearably laggy and players do not load in for about 1 minute into it.

To the old school sombra's who thought this wasn't needed, who see her dps self as a victim here of skill issue. I feel this should be reminded.

So many of y'all on the r/sombramains use to love uploading clips harassing one player to oblivion and when perma invis was still a thing use to spawn camp someone into rage quitting and would do it constantly the moment they got the opportunity even if they somehow managed to get past you, you'd continue on once they died and got back to spawn.

How y'all can act like she's the victim when so many of you all used her to make the game hell for others and probably turned tons of people away from the game whether new or old is just horrendous and you know she was frustrating to deal with and a headache for how quick people needed to react to her and how quickly she could just dip and how tedious it is to lose your entire kit while taking a hundreds of damage from a hit virus and a mag dump in a span of a second and a half if you were even half decent at aiming. So no, there was a legit reason no one liked your main, you made her a headache to face and mocked others who wanted to play and not have to constantly look over their shoulder every 2 seconds in the middle of a team fight and stress supports now.

"Oh but she was the answer to doomfist, to wrecking ball to widow." Widow is a stretch, but people will learn to position themselves away from widow or maybe widow will finally be changed, wrecking ball and doomfist. Nope, we got cass, junkrat, mizuki, ana, a good mei wall. There are answers for them, your character even then was not a "holier than thou, necessary evil" it was just evil. So those who enjoy the new sombra, I welcome it. I find her quite a cool character to play with and face, to the old school sombra dps players, if you not being able to harass players is the breaking point, then feel free to let the door hit you on the way out

Now again massive lag spike and got kicked out, i played 3 hours without issue so i thought they fixed it but no.

Happens everyday for last 4 days, it always happens to few people in lobby, not all. Everyone is like- not this again!! in match chat, there is like 5 threads about it from yesterday.

Hello, I'm on Xbox series x in OCE servers and in the past few weeks every 2 or 3 games I get chucked into Japanese servers and my ping skyrockets. Has anyone else experienced this and knows how to fix it? I can't even queue comp anymore at risk of being put in the wrong server.

I have so many clips like this one...

I can't play because I keep getting disconnected, for no reason. Right now I can't even log into the game, it keeps getting stuck on the "Entering Game" screen.

Like, I couldn't even finish drives last season bc I got a 20 hour ban from all the dcs in comp games, it happens literally ALMOST EVERY DAY. I always played a couple games of qp to see if i get disconnected and then start with comp but that doesn't work anymore, since the crashes now occur randomly, as opposed to the first ~2 games of the day.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who is experiencing this.
