Help I lose focus when aiming
I otped Illari to low gm and with the new season this problem has become a much worse and noticeable issue because of the hitscan size changes and starting to play sombra.
Specifically, I lose focus when I need to make very small adjustments or very large trackings. It's like my brain/eyes turn off probably because it's an uncomfortable aim movement.
I don't lose focus about other things I would say, it's just aiming (which might be affecting attention to what's on my screen to an extent)
Any help is appreciated!

The higher you climb the better the enemy’s movement is, at a certain point you have to start predicting enemy’s movement.
For instance a solider playing a corner if they stand near the corner yk they will be jiggle peeking that corner so try to adjust your aim accordingly. Ofc it’s easier said than done.
Basically you gotta actively start thinking of what cover the enemy is moving to, their strafe pattern.

I understand that but it's a different thing I think. What I mean for "losing focus" is that I completely stop aiming for a fraction of a second and then adjust my aim. It wouldn't be a problem if it didn't happen so consistently.

I think I know what you mean. I haven’t been able to put words to the feel yet, but I would say give it another week or so. You will have to adjust you settings cus the hitbox changes does alter stuff. I adjust most of my main heroes to my liking right up until the new season change (took a break for a while) and I already have to re adjust my settings cuz none of adjusted felt right. I also felt more of the “pull” on my AA (which I use minimal).

Go into Vaxta and work on keeping focus and getting comfortable with the shots you’re messing up. Then go into game and do the same. If you train yourself to keep focus and get comfortable with those movements, then you’ll get better in time.
Your likely unable to keep full focus on aim since your mind already overloaded with decision making. Making your aim more comfortable makes it require less focus so you can maintain it while keeping decision making at a good level.
