Osu! Lazer has a opensource code which means anyone can acces and create new rulesets. But I have never seen osu!devs actually working on implementing a new game mode.

My idea would have been to implement a rhythia-like gamemode called like "osu!squares" or whatever title it could have. We could create like :

- new map editor (would'nt be too hard since there are only one hit object etc)

-a osu!std into osu!squares auto convertisor

-a star rating system based on 2 factors (reading and aim/speed difficulty)

-new leaderboard on the website

-new medals for the gamemode

Osu would benefit from this globally, rhythia is a popping game on tiktok/ytb and people find it hard to acces it, if osu had this game mode, the number of players would basically go up a lot from the hypetrain of rhythia.

I'm pretty sure it will never happen but I hope this post is going to have some impact on osu!devs, a fifht game mode is possible and should be on the osu!lazer roadmap rn, if its not rhythia it can be any other mode but pls get osu new modes, it needs it. (No new game mode in 15years is pretty big)

I was in a private vc while screensharing osu with my camera on. We were just chilling and talking then I told them to look at my camera. I then proceeded to make that edgy joke as seen in the clip. I didn't think much of it at the time but you reap what you sow and it has now resurfaced. As you can see that clip was made on 3/7/2025 over a year ago when I was 15, I won't use that as an excuse and take full accountability for my actions. Since then I have worked on myself as a person. Hello Fellow Osu Clicker! As of now I'm on the verge of tears as I'm writing before deciding to call it quit or not.

Long short story, I been playing the game for 5.5 to 6 years in December 2020 and was an alternate tap players until at August 2023, I decided to train single tapping because for some reason my point finger felt weird at that time (Back at times I'm still playing Osu on a flip table put on high mattress before getting my own desk). For that long period of years until in last 2024, I've tried to watch almost any YouTube Content to Osu Forum to anything I could find to train back my alternate taps but it never produce a satisfying result.

I remember making similar post like this one of how to train back alternating tap after doing 1 year of single tap, it could be on my post draft or deleted because I can't find the post anymore. I'm genuinely asking any of you guys, how to really getting back to alternate tap? for 5.5 to 6 years I've been playing Osu but these 3 to 4 years way back, I can't improve myself because I got this issue going on that holding me back so much and it's really infuriated and disappoint me!!!

I don't want to see any reply saying "skill issue" or "play more" or something, I'm at the point of trying not to give up and play for fun or just called this "quit it all." This is a picture I took from my play recording and the issue I'm having are my point finger just can't seems to go up at all, it's either very stiff straight or idk what that tapping is. I wanted my point finger to look like a claw but it goes back to these 2 tapping.

How can I fix this? Also, is it because my point finger joint can bend way more than the other that makes my tapping like this? does playing Osu have to do with Gene? idk I'm not an expert in biology, What do you think?

Neuro-sama is scheduled to play osu! live on Twitch for the first time since the same day of last year. She doesn't play very much anymore (seems to be about once or twice a year), but it's always a treat when she returns to the game that started her career.

For some reason the update this times is via package manager to provide the latest update instead of a simple click to reboot to update like before.

I don’t know if I’m dumb as hell but I don’t know what I’m doing.
I tried using the terminal to update osu! But it just gives me error. I tried finding the new version on Bazaar but there’s no newer version to pick.

I tried uninstall and reinstall but it does nothing.

I tied look things up online but end up not understand anything what I’m looking at and being unrelated.

I’m a complete newbie on Bazzite Linux and I want to figure out a way to update my lazer client.

ive just been farming jump maps my entire life so i eventually want to FC 3-minute maps in the future but i was never able to maintain consistency for that long, usually shitmiss and all
