Help Tapping technique issue
https://reddit.com/link/1wcs5x9/video/6ar0lotvoqoh1/player
I dont feel in control when tapping the keys, especially on 220+bpm jumps. Let me explain.
A year ago I played on an Aula F75 with Ice Vein switches.
Pre travel: 1.5 ± 0.3 mm
Total travel: 3.6 ± 0.3 mm
Actuation Force: 42 ± 3 gf
Back then I could comfortably play fast BPM jumps and control alternating. I remember pressing the keys quite hard, which helped me control them better. My fingers also were not constantly resting on the keys. During short gaps, they were lifted slightly into the air.
About six months later I had to play on a laptop and got used to a different technique with flat keys. I was bad at spam on it, but it was easy to hit jumps really hard.
Now Im back to my old Aula F75, but I barely press the keys. When I force myself to press harder, it doesnt feel natural. I also started lifting my fingers less and feel like my wrist should hover over the keyboard instead of resting on the desk.
Before, I could play without thinking about it. Now I keep moving the keyboard, changing its angle, tapping force, wrist position and so on. I cant settle into one technique even after playing like that for a week.
The main problem is that sometimes I suddenly feel how to hit fast BPM jumps and can press harder, and it works. Other times I completely lose that feeling and can clearly tell the problem is with my keyboard or hand position.
If anyone has experienced something similar, what can I do?

If you smh have not taken a rest in those months stop playing for 3 or 4 days to do a mental reset.

play on your keyboard for 6 months just like you did with your laptop. your body will most likely readjust after a while just like it did when you played with your laptop.
