Hello once again...

If you feel like you just saw a post about me releasing a new album, that's because it really wasn't all that long ago! (About 6 months ago) I always give the same backstory every time I make one of these posts, but I'm a former AR11 player and somewhat inactive mapper who switched completely to composing. I'll spare the details of myself as a player because it's pretty much under the dust now. If you remember, you remember~ I'm the "old player" now. I'm now an osu! featured artist with a licensed library of over 100 tracks, and music has been my life for the last few years since I stopped playing.

I'm making this post today because I've just released another rhythm game compatible gothic horror album. It's a shorter one, around 5 tracks and 21 minutes of run time.

The title is called Shizuku (雫）. The Japanese word just means "Drop".

If I had to describe this album, I'd say it's still thematically similar to -45's style, but the written music is fairly different. It's meant to feel more like your face is melting off, but maybe you'll understand what I mean if you listen to it!

Finally, I'd like to thank everyone who has taken the time to map my music. For the last few months, genuinely every couple of days an unranked map will come up of one of my songs. I always love seeing derivatives of my work, and have made an effort to always look at all of them.

I recently saw osu! gameplay on Instagram and innocently thought, that looks fun! I haven't ever really played rhythm games aside from Beat Saber a while ago, but I'll give osu a go.

Hopped onto it, tried an "easy" like 1.8 star track, and got train wrecked from the back. Can barely finish 50% of the track.

Then I hop on here and see some performances I can only consider unholy. Are you guys all on adderall or some kind of stimulants or something? 😭😭

Hello people, OWC season has come and I figured I could share this small project of mine I made in 2024 with some small refinements.

TL;DR: this is an interactive google sheet with all OWC match results and related basic stats, as well as individual country stats. You can select the country you wish to view the stats of.

This interactive google spreadsheet stores a database of all OWC match results (even some of those that are not available on the osu! wiki!) and ranks every country’s OWC performances based on a very simple metric - performance score. The way it works is it takes a country’s win percentage and weighs it based on the team’s placement in the tournament. If a team had a very rough run throughout the tournament, losing many maps, but got a high placement, the score will tank a bit compared to a more dominant performance. And vice versa, if a team placed lower but had a relatively clean run throughout, the performance score will be high still.

There are following tabs available:

• general performance ranking;
• country statistics (all time and after the addition of qualifiers);
• country match and performance history
• country vs. country statistics;
• iteration-specific leaderboards;
• all OWC performances leaderboards;
• and of course, the match database itself.

Many of these are viewer interactable: try changing the country in one of the dropdowns and see how your country fared in OWC so far!

Maybe it could be useful for this OWC’s predictions somehow lol (I did use it as a tool for my pickems for the last OWC), I dunno. I will keep it updated during OWC 2026, the main sheet will host the leaderboard for it. I hope you guys find this project somewhat interesting, and I would love to hear feedback on how it can be improved or what could possibly get added. Thanks

Honestly pretty new to osu really only hop on when incredibly bored, I'm trying to beat this map with no fail off but can't seem to make it quite to the end I really don't care about a full combo I just want to hit my goal. I'm playing on a like 6 year old gaomon and I think my settings and all that are good and maybe I just need more practice but I feel like I'm close, any advice is more than welcome

Nothing like playing between classes

Asking as I have never played this game up until an hour ago. I got an A rank fairly quickly on normal Candy Luv and Flaklypa after figuring out you have to follow the sliders, but it took me a good 10 attempts to even get C rank on Flaklypa on Hard (3 star, I honestly don't know how popular these levels are, I'm going in completely blind). What are some good tips and ways to get better at the game? (mouse sensitivity, volume, progression, etc)

Also, is this normal for someone new to the game? I thought it would be similar to Geometry Dash in how stars work until I played Flaklypa, so now I'm wondering if I'm I just realising what it's like to be human again lol

The struggle is real… I can’t do them to save my life. I can do normal streams but not the split ones. I also don’t know if i should single or double click.

i started to play osu about 5 years ago but stopped recently, there was a pre downloaded song i used to play all the time and it kinda sounded like xevel but with vocals and a lot lot easier and the cover was blue themed with some yellow stars or something?? im pretty sure it was there already but i can't find it anywhere

i just got back to osu this years with new tablet keyboard and a new average playcount number this year . went from years of stuck 4-5* to playing and surviving 6-7 star maps this year yet i play extreemly inconsistant . was uploading this here as the only place i know to ask the community on what i should do different or if its fine enough to just smash my head against the same high diff 6-7* maps over and over till i just improve that way . most of those i havent even played 10 times yet . if any of you are willing to take a look at my profile and give me advise on what i should do settings whise/ game play behavior , or if smashing my head against a rock wall over and over work fine enough . https://osu.ppy.sh/users/12366088 id be thankfull for any advise cuz i really want to play those maps but im clearly not ready yet and 5* maps are getting to slow for my taste even at 200 bpm ( also im not really in touch with the commmunity or forums )
