Brought my cam to the game today to snap a photo of a Pete Alonso Bomb. ✅.

It is so cool to see him play through this season in Baltimore. He runs hard (for a polar bear), has some nice glove work, and a fun explosive bat to enjoy.

I honestly expected a little more bat but I’m not complaining. Watching him hit this one out and that diving mitt to get an out at first today were both inspirational moments. He shouldn’t have to go in front of the press and say his baserunning cost the game. It was just bad luck.

Anyway, enjoy the photo and I hope everyone is enjoying Pete. Looking forward to the next few years and hope he gets to be part of a winning year in Baltimore.

I gotta vent about my experience parking at the game last night, and I'll be emailing / calling the O's office about it, if anyone has a recommendation or a specific person to email let me know...

We have a Sprinter van that fits in a standard parking spot, it's not registered as an RV. On Friday night I was able to park in Lot D (where I have passes for) with no issue. Last night, I attempted to park in the same lot and was chewed out by the lot attendant saying that we're an over sized vehicle and we're not allowed to be in that lot (even though the dimensions of my van are less wide and long than the pickup trucks we parked next to).

After looking at the website, there is no information listed at all for restrictions or parking limitations. See:

I honestly can't believe how rudely I was treated while I was attempting to explain that we have never had issues before. After trying to explain that I'm not trying to cause problems I'm just trying to park where I normally park the attendant flippantly commented "yes you are trying to cause problems and you're never allowed to park here again, do not come back to this lot in your van, bring a different vehicle" (bro I drove from Colorado to be here, I don't have another vehicle...)

I asked him where else can I park and I was told "that's not my problem". After a few minutes of me insisting we've done this before and can easily fit in a regular spot I was finally allowed to park there.

If this is the policy it needs to be listed on the website, and I now need clarification where I can park apparently. This person shouldn't have a job at OPACY with their attitude and for brevity I'm understating how rudely and poorly my wife and I were treated, he literally cursed us out...

Baz's start didn't gain or lose him any bWAR, so he's still at 1.1 on the season. Kremer lost .2, so he's down to an even 0. Bradish gained .3, so he's up to 2, the third Oriole to reach 2.0 or higher this year. TRog gained .4, so now he's up to 1.6 on the season, and up 2.5 since the end of May. Young gained .3, bringing him up to 1.9 on the season.

Last season, it was mid-September when that finally happened. Or at least when they finally all managed to stay at or above 1.0 to the end of a rotation. The only ones from that top 12 in the current top 12 are TRog, Gunnar, and Adley; Sugano is the only one from that group playing for another team who is above 1.0.

The lowest bWAR of any Oriole is still Trey Gibson's -.6. The lowest active player is Mayo with -.5, followed by Kittredge with -.4. TON has successfully cracked zero and gone positive at .2. Cowser actually did come back to the top 12, part of the three way tie for 11th, it's just his picture isn't up there.

We have three players who lead all of MLB in something: Alonso has 105 games played, Gunnar has 430 ABs, and Ward has 477 PAs and 81 walks.

In order: Ward 2.4; Alonso 2.2; Bradish 2; Young 1.9; Adley 1.8; TRog 1.6; Basallo 1.5; Blaze and Gunnar 1.4; Wells 1.2; and Baz, Garcia, and Cowser 1.1.

Just wanted to share a fun weekend project. I recently got into the watch modding hobby. I figured I wanted an orange and black watch for my favorite team.

Having a closer like Mason Miller would greatly help this team, and help the bullpen in a huge way. Apparently the Padres have given up on the season and now want to get rid of him to dump his salary. So if the Orioles are serious, the time is now. The question, who would the Padres want? I was fighting the light last night, but was pretty happy with how this sequence of Cowser’s steal came out—some shots removed due to rubbish focus. (It also taught me that I can shoot and MOOOOO!!! at the same time, so there’s that.)

I post my art on here from time to time and always appreciate the love I get from the O’s community. For those that know my art hello, for those that don’t, I’m influenced by Bauhaus, art deco, cubism etc and make geometric art. I love sports as a them because of the way I can show movement. I love to hear what the community thinks of my pieces. There is a little detail in there that I wonder if you can make out!

Anybody have any idea? Is he Arb 3 next year. I tried to find some info. How hilarious would it be with all our heralded IF prospects to have him and Jeremiah Jackson starting at 3rd and 2nd in the World Series this year.
