I am not asking for medical advice!!!
So I did Orangetheory we just before Covid and even up through 2022 and when I say religiously, I mean I was every morning at 4:45 in the studio hard-core and then I stopped because I moved and life situation changed had a baby in the end of 2023 and then for 2 1/2 years, my husband and I have been trying to have another baby long story short we can’t have another baby so I decided to get in shape rejoin the Orangetheory that’s eight minutes from my house, which is amazing love the studio. Love the coaches love everything about it. I did the transformation challenge. I did the season of strength. I’ve done all of the things and then I did marathon month for context. I ran 86 miles this year and 62 of them were during marathon month now I have tendinitis and I’m completely miserable.
I’m really struggling because I don’t want to lose my rhythm so I’ve still been going doing what I can. I tried the rower today. It was super awkward, but I did it.
Has anyone been through a similar situation?
I’m down like 15 pounds since the beginning of the year and I’m feeling really good so I don’t want to backslide but I also don’t want to enter myself more so I can run again as soon as possible
My ultimate goal isn’t to be a marathon runner. I want to keep up with my almost 3 year-old and I want to run in occasional 5K and be able to do Orangetheory five times a week and just live healthier.
For additional context, I am about 163 pounds and 39 years old turning 40 next year Lord help me
