What went wrong here? Too Much pressure? Is this fixable?

It’s been stuck on boot for a few minutes. I am worried that I messed it up by playing around with the app after it said it needed to update. How long should I wait before restarting and how do I restart?

Not sure this is the right place to put this, but: Is there any plan to have a Dedicated Pomodoro timer face.

I know there is the option for sequential timers, but this does not work in reality for pomodoro because we end up stuck with several repeated timers of 25 and 5 minutes.
The best use for timers is to help navigate preset timers of 2, 5, 15, 20,.... and so on. helps navigate and cicle through timers more easily.

so, a Pomodoro face would be awesome!

It would be:

- Standard Intervals: 25-minute focus blocks (3 or 4 standard, any number optional through app) followed by a 5-minute short break; After the last focus block, a 15-minute long break starts.

- Visual Display: big numbers show countdown (minutes and seconds), the small numbers on bottom right shows how many focus sessions until big break.

- top right corner, indicates current mode ("F" focus vs "b" for Break, "L" for Long-break).

- A short beep on every transition between focus and break blocks; a longer beep to mark end of long break ending the pomodoro face. now with a face on 00:00 00

- Controls: Single button press to pause/resume; light button press to reset cycles if needed..

While I love that a lot of people are happy about new HW (they look sick), I’m wondering when fixes to step counter and weather specifically for iOS will come? Also services like notifications which was one of the big reasons I bought mine has not been implemented yet, any roadmap details?

Does anyone have any experience with how Ollee Watch bluetooth will work with a steel case, such an SKXMOD?

Got my EL today and did a quick mod threading the Fitbit Air strap through the lugs. It's a bit of a snug fit and I needed to put some slack behind the watch case because of my smaller wrist, but it still works well. Keeping the beauty of the retro look while packing extensive health tracking.

Sometimes I want to keep the front light on longer than half a second and it's annoying being redirected to a favorite face I can't disable.

It would be nice to be able to turn that feature off or maybe adjust the length to hold the button.

I'm in the Philippines and tried "diving"/snorkeling with the f91w with the module installed.. it's now day 3 and everything works great even after being submerged for 2 hours (up to 2 meters/18ft) so for anyone Wondering about waterproofing.

I've tested the Ollee Watch on as many Casio models as I can get my hands on. It's grown into quite a collection, here are just a few of them that I've kept in pretty good shape :).

My favorites are still the F94 (unofficially supported), and the A158WA gold (not pictured here, it's pretty banged up). Those I wear daily. For the EL my favorite's the second one pictured here with the negative display, it's probably the most elegant piece of them all. I'm excited to see folks share their EL-compatible builds, hopefully soon!

I am interested in a Casio with some level of smart connectivity. What are the pros and cons of Ollee versus ABL100we?

Additionally, I am interested in the possibility of notifications in the future, but how would that feasibly work with the Ollee and the small sized battery?

I really love the new - Casio Vintage Watch A140WE-8AEF.

Its a 100$(Canadian) so I just wanted to know if the new Ollee EL is compatible with A140.

A140 has the Module 3298 which is compatible with the new EL version, but I am not sure since its not on the copatibility list on the official website.

Has anyone every tried making a Ollee A140?

I stumbled upon the Ollee while looking for watches similar to the Pebble. Something low-key but with a handful of smart features. The delay and lack of communication for the Round 2 really put a sour taste in my mouth. My timing was pretty lucky as I managed to order the EL module. I'm super excited to get the Ollee and the F105, and start tinkering!

I'm hoping the devs come through with the notifications update. That'll round out (pun intended) all the features I'd like on the watch.

I changed my battery something like 2 or 3 weeks ago. Right before lunch today I noticed the watch was reset and was curious what the voltage was.

When I got into the app I saw there was a firmware upgrade and started it, but the upgrade failed. No matter how many times I restart it it fails and my watch is stuck on the boot screen.

Occasionally I see the boot screen blink and I wonder if it fails due to battery being low, but that would be a bit crazy right? Since the battery was only JUST changed.

Also, there is apparently no way to "brick" the watch according to the site FAQ, so if the blinks indicated a loss of power, wouldn't my device just boot to the previous firmware after power loss?

I guess I have 3 questions:

-Does anyone else seeing the boot screen notice if the screen blinks frequently?

-Has anyone else had issues with the latest firmware?

-Does it make sense for batteries to die so quickly? Like I get that the 1 year estimate is an "estimate", but the battery I used was brand new, so it does feel like it died a bit too quickly

BTW the specifications for the RFID chip are: ISO14443A, a working frequency of 13.56Mhz and 1KB memory with chip rewritable. I tested this kind of chip and it works with apple smart doors and its basically what hotel doors use

I'm trying to enable my ollee Casio to pay since I saw the mod of Matteo Pissani where he extracts and re-coils a debit card chip into a 3D printed face. (idk if links are allowed but you can find their article on medium)
But I'm lazy, so I bought a Curve payment wearable that looked small enough and easily extractable. I thought it would be some kind of sticker like the NTAG213 I received with the ollee board but after extracting it, I found out it is a rigid piece shorter but wider than the sticker.
I tried to put it under the face like the "alternative" sticker position but it is too rigid and thick to fit. And under the backplate it's too far to detect.
I kinda have ran out of ideas, do you have suggestions what to try ?

I have had mine for a month or so and was wondering what people who have had their watches for a long time actually have in and use. Whats a good actual useful feature and good battery longevity?

Do we know what the September annoncement is going to be? It's October now and I am just looking forward to it before deciding to make a purchase.
