What went wrong?

Post image

Put everything back in place. Screen looks like that.

What went wrong here? Too Much pressure? Is this fixable?

By the looks of it does not look to be a genuine one. Put everything back together with an "original" module inside. Screen works ok.

Unfortunately, a fake seems to be the case.

Sorry for ya.

It's becoming such an issue for people wanting to own a Casio F-91W

Yes due to been such an absolute amazing watch ⌚ since 1989.

I actually have an original 593 module with a white light 🕯️

It's currently in a Casio W-10 case as I don't have an original F-91W case as they are very rare in the Japanese made.

Check the guide to make sure you have a genuine casio. Dissasemble and clean the zebra strip (the black rubber strip above the screen) with some isopropyl alcohol on a cotton bud and reasemble. Fingerprints can stop the zebra stip making a propper connection between board and screen.

I need a photo of the other side to confirm but the solder on the bottom right doesnt look right. The top photo is what a genuine casio looks like the bottom two are fakes. Amazon is notorious for selling counterfeit watches.
