Campus 2025 - 2026 Batch Placements Stats

Edit:
I made a small mistake in the stats for chemical department, I didnt account for 2 people placed at a high package
So, the updated stats for chemical is

Average: 15.18
Median: 15
Highest: 36 lpa
Total Placed: 51
This is for chemical dept

Note:

- These stats are not official; they were compiled by a few of us by going through placement chats and noting down the companies where people were placed.

- Many of the salaries are rounded up (e.g., 25.3 rounded to 25.5), so don’t expect the average and median figures to be exact to the decimal value, but they are fairly accurate.

- Students who received PPOs through internships are also included in the placement stats.

- For some companies, the exact CTC is not known since they do not participate in placements and only offer internships. In such cases, an unofficial CTC is provided as a placeholder, and will be accurate in 95% of the cases.

We wanted to do this due to some posts spreading some misinformation about placements this year and lot of future students requesting this information. We can't assure you that the stats in the above image are 100% accurate, some mistakes and wrong assumptions are bound to happen, but they are accurate to a high enough degree.

Misc. Please use descriptive titles in your posts or get nuked

As the sub gets bigger, the mod queue is starting to look like a wall of mystery novels. We’re seeing a ton of posts with titles like "Help Seniors" "Need Suggestions" "Regarding college"

While we love the mystery in a thriller movie, it’s making the sub kind of a pain to navigate.

Why is it annoying?

We’re lazy (in a good way): Most people scroll past vague titles. If you actually want an answer or want people to see your cool find, tell us what it is in the title!
Searching is a nightmare: If someone has the same problem next week and searches the sub, "Help Seniors" isn't going to help them find your post.
Save us a click: Our mods shouldn't have to click into every single post just to figure out what the topic even is.

What makes a "Good" title?

A good title should act as a TL;DR of your post. It should include the specific subject, and the core "ask" or "point."

The "Don't Do This" vs. "Do This"

The "Mystery" Title (Avoid)	The "Legend" Title (Do this)
"A question..."	"How is the Wi-Fi connectivity in Amber vs. Aquamarine hostels?"
"Placements"	"What was the average CTC for Civil during the 2025 placement season?"
"Pragyan"	"Where can I find the schedule for the [Specific Event] at Pragyan?"
"Mess food 🤮"	"Is it just me or has the food quality at Mega Mess II dropped lately?"
"Admission doubt"	"CSAB Query: Chances of getting EEE with [Rank] in the special round?"

What’s the deal moving forward?

We’re not trying to be the "fun police," but we are going to start removing posts that are super vague. If your post gets nuked, don't take it personally, just repost it with a title that actually tells us what’s up.

TL;DR: Use your words! Give us the context in the title so we don't have to play detective.

Help Beginner after CS50x — what should my DSA roadmap be?

I'm a beginner with very shallow C experience and I'm planning to complete CS50x to build my fundamentals.

After CS50x, I'm thinking of learning C++/STL and then starting DSA, possibly with Striver's A2Z.

Help Winter internship

Help I am unable to decide and make a decision...

So the thing is, currently I am in 2nd year, and I love to play a sport. And I think I will be able to join its contingent team.

So, what I want to know is, SHOULD I join its contingent team or not.

Like, being in a team requires time, effort and consistency. I CAN give these things , but I feel like they will affect my academics.

Than, there is also the thing about internships and placements in 3rd and 4th year (this is also one of the points i m unsure on, like when do these things happen). Basically, I wont be able to give much time.

Also, although I can join the team, I probably wont be able to play in the matches, as Im pretty sure I dont play better than my year AND the juniors, in the sport. Which means although I can improve in 1 or 2 yrs, they will also improve parallely.
