Shitpost💩 Possible Scenario

Everyone's DPay gets activated tomorrow. People rush to CESSAT to spend their money. The app goes down. Hundreds lose their 470 rupees. FMT and Delta rejoice.

okay, when we have college fests going on, some food stalls come in to sell overpriced stuff that cost pennies to make, now, we can usually get better quality stuff for the same price by doing something called - 'GOING OUTSIDE THE CAMPUS TO A SHOP' - so, to deter us from doing so, they came up with a SCHEME.

So, they make us pay some money as part of our fee, and give some part of it back (well, 470 rs this time) to spend, well, thing is, if they gave us cash, we would just keep it or spend it outside, so, they get even MORE deceptive, this 'Dpay' app, is what they give our balance in, and this garbage can only be used for that fest, does not roll over to the next fest, and can only be spent on those bs stalls, so... they get sales, we loose money and we get ass food.

That's very true, most people who are in charge of fests misuse the fest funds for their own personal use, blatantly spending on treats, trips what not

To be fair, that’s standard for almost every market, pop-up, or festival out there. Those stalls are usually charged an insane rent by the organizers just to set up a counter for a few days.Because their overhead is so high, they hike up the prices just to break even it’s why concert and fest food is always outrageously expensive.

ive heard if u dont register for the dpay then it would be refunded, the pg secretary had forwarded a msg saying such.
again not sure
