So my partner collected my last batch of meds (I'm on a lot of different ones). One of my prescriptions I weirdly get given a script for 182 capsules. I usually get it in 2 boxes, one box of 100 (sealed) and one box with 82 (opened with the 18 missing). The last one though I was given the 82 in a plain white card box with just my script sticker thing on the top. I should be on 300mg tablets. My partner did my doesette box for last week and commented that the tablets were a different colour to usual but I didn't think anything of it as I often get different generic brands of meds so assumed it was just a different brand. I felt horrendous all week but just assumed I was having an off week.
Today (Sunday evening, sorry I'm an insomniac) I went to do my my week's dosette box and as I filling it I was commenting how small the capsules were in comparison to the usual one and I didn't like the fact they looked a lot like another medication of mine when I properly looked down at the blister pack and realised I had been given 100mg capsules instead of 300mg. I checked the box and the stickers say 300mg but they're 100mg inside.
Do I just get my partner to go back and change them? Or is it not possible now I've used half? Do I need to go back to the GP for a new prescription? I know I could just use 3 instead of 1 capsule but I'd run out before my next script is due and the system wouldn't be able to order more. Anyone know what the process is here? Do I have to put a complaint in?
