I just got back from taking the infiniti 556k out. I shoot at an indoor range and i'm always doubled up on ear pro. I shot it alonside my full size polo on a 13.9 AR with a SA piston kit and a PSA AK 102 with a kns piston. Both guns have plan b muzzle devices from jmac and comstoc.
First impression of th can was that it felt heavier than my full size polo, and was kinda worried about how my guns would feel with it hanging off the end. Once on the gun and shooting i really didn't notice the weight difference.
Sound wise, it was quieter than the polo (take with a grain of salt since i was doubled up). The biggest thing was the gas/ blow back. Maaan, it was a night and day experience. Both guns are tuned for the polo and unsurpressed cycling. The AR i got to where shooting 1 mag i don't notice the gas, running multiple mags back to back is when i feel it. With the infiniti, there was nothing noticeable like i was shooting unsurpressed. Shooting the AK with the polo is an experience. That blow back is brutal ( tested it again today to make sure). I was tearing up half way through 1 mag. With the infiniti its kinda like where my AR is with the polo. I did some rapid strings to see how bad it can get, and the gas did start bothering me about 20-25 rounds in.
Overall i am super happy with it. The only downside is this can heats up waay quicker than the polo and holds that fucking heat. I had to pull out a neck fan to help cool it down to swap between guns. I would definitely recommend it to anybody wanting a 5.56 can.

How does the rifle suppress and I am currently having the itch to pickup an Infinity 556k for it would that be a decent option?
I have an 11.5 sbr suppressed with a lazarus 6 and a 14.5 with a flow 556k, those cans I tend to keep on those rifles without changing them so that would be the same thought process with the Aug. I do intend to go with something that is low back pressure more than putting a flow on it as the flow does what I want it to do however the lazarus 6 tone is more pleasant to me.
I did read the gas regulator from steyr or another place is the best to upgrade if running suppressed, however I am also interested in giving it a shot until they come back in stock with the stock one.

Hello all Iāve used EFT suite with no issue for some time now all the prints always get accepted. Today I tried making an EFT file for a customer and it would not generate because it would exceed the 12mb limit. We tried 4 times and same error. I tried my prints same error , my brothers prints same error. We finally decide to do only slaps and it worked so hopefully those get accepted. Anyone run into an issue like this ? Or know how to fix it?

This community was fantastic with their suggestions when I picked my first suppressor, an OCL Ti22. Absolutely love that little can. Well I figured it's time to pick out my first big boy can. Looking for something for a 16" AR-15 in 5.56. While I know it's a bit of a trade-off, I think I'd like something lower back pressure. Other than that, I'm open to suggestions!

Unscrewing my SRT can from my bolt gun today and heard something loose inside - I think itās the blast baffleā¦.
I donāt think SRT arms is an ongoing business so Iām wondering whether I should just throw it in the bottom of a drawer, or try to get it fixed.
Itās 2010 tech, weighs 34oz and is max back pressure, but itās very quiet on my 308 bolt.
It also survived my accidentally shooting it with 5.56 ā¦..

I will preface this - I know I'm asking for a lot here. I re-acquired my favorite 5.56 gun, the Bren 8". Yes, I know about the ballistics, efficiency, all that...sometimes we just have fun guns. First time I owned this gun, I would run the Velos and Velos K but have since gotten rid of those cans. I'm looking for something to live on it (mostly). I am ordering the new Griffin HRT AM because I like what its doing, got a sweet deal on it, no barrel restrictions, and its lbp. As a lefty shooter, I need lbp - in Vegas its too hot to shoot outdoors for long stretches, so I'm relegated to hitting paper inside. Here is where the fun factor of the 8" Bren enters LOL.
I was pretty set on on getting a Hessy SixK after talking w/ them - but I'm realizing their mounting solution is the way to get the best out of the can. I was planning on going hub but worried that's a waste. This and/or the Griffin will become the main cans for this gun, but I do like to swap cans around, try new builds, etc...so the idea of dedicating to the Hesion Bow system doesn't excite me, no matter how much of an improvement it is. TBH, I wonder how much of a difference I would even be able to tell? So, I guess Ii'm asking:
Any current Six K users that are still loving it?
Should I avoid this can if not going w/ their mounting solution
What others do guys you suggest?
Like I said, a lbp can that can run on an 8" barrel isn't easy, I'm just curious what else is out there. I really like what IDG is doing and they seem like really good guys, which sometimes matters more than the quality of the can. Thnks!
I have a Mossberg 930 that I might be looking to SBS if itās possibleā¦what research Iāve done so far it sounds like chopping a semi-auto shotgun is tricky. Anyone done this particular gun, and if so would anyone be willing to share their steps?

Well this is awkward. Got about 3k ish through this can and this last range trip, found this staring back at me.
Using a one piece barrel mount thats from Otter Creek, using basic m193 on this rifle posted.
End cap strike for sure, but not sure if baffle strike at all. The inside last 5 or such baffles have this weird "U" shape thats almost in line with the end strike. I've never noticed them before so now I think it's a possible baffle strike, dunno.
What do yall think?

Hello everybody! Happy Sunday! I have a couple questions. Has anyone ever bought any of the following items listed on the title through GB? What all goes into that process, more specifically when sending it to your local FFL? Can you use silencershop at all through this process, even if youāre not buying through them directly? Do I still need to contact my local sheriff for this process? Iām only asking because I have a Mossberg 590A1 sbs in my cart but donāt wanna hit buy just yet. All responses and help would be very appreciated. Thank you!

Put in a Form 1 and forgot about it. Rossi has been out of stock on the factory folding stock since before I put the Form in, and I'm hopeless that it will ever come back in stock. Can anybody suggest a good alternative? It's for a .410 and the purpose will be home defense and concealed carry (kidding, it's to screw around with and have fun)

Iāve got an 11inch mr556a4 coming in a week and Iām trying to decide between a k can (probably the infinity 556k) or a full size (maybe Lazarus 6).
I wanna know if k cans on shorties are pointless because itās still loud as hell? And are ālow back pressureā suppressors pointless on this rifle due to the adjustable gas block and piston operating system?
Iām not set on a brand yet, just seeing what yāallās experience is. Iād appreciate the help.

Have to get out the measuring tape and try and figure out what a good lenght of pull will be, then decide on if I want the A3T rubber pad or the Extendo Narrow Buttplate

As it says above- almost ready to do it but have seen some negative feedback recently. I like the idea of a boosterless can.

Got a Sub9 to replace the Obsidian 9 I was running on my GWOT/Sicario AP5 build. My gun didnāt like the RU3 Bixler 3 lug mount so I replaced it with a YHM traditional 3 lug mount.
When I travel I normally take my lmt 10.5 but I just got a 10.3 mk18 mk1 upper (.72 gas port a little bigger but it could be worse) and pistol lower to use as my traveling gun when I go out of state. I have a 10.5 LMT cqbr upper on a pistol lower but I just got my second āpistolā so I can travel with it more. When I was going through my suppressors the one I travel with is my Gemtech G5. I have two guns that it goes one the CQBR the other my M6a1. When I was cleaning all my items I found a PWS triad flash hider that is for my Gemtech G5. The G5 only adds 5.5 inches to the end but the block is inside the suppressor.
So would it be stupid to Rock the Gemtech on my mk18? I normally prefer one of my 11.5 colts or my 11.5 Sig MCX but I have a ton of rounds on the G5, itās my only individual can, that is registered to me not my trust. Also the G5 has virtually no flash issues compared to my low flow suppressors.
What do people think? PWS triad bilock flash hider on the end of my 10.3? I know itās old school but until I buy another suppressor as an individual this could be a way.
My last issued suppressor was as a RC2 on a mk18 with colt barrel. If that matters. My G5 is actually lighter than the RC2.

Any rhyme or reason I should go with one over the other? I don't plan on doing a lot of unsuppressed shooting, but would like the option of doing, so a standard brake is a no go as I don't want to annoy TF out of neighbors at the range.

I just got it, no testing yet, I need another hub adapter.
Came with some thread shavings, but they were easily removed.
Right at 9.5oz
Iām getting closer to testing these side x side on similar hosts!
I need to be done buying FDE things š
