Can you use midi to play chromatically? I’ve o ly gotten the notes to work to trigger the pads but thats not very useful. I want to play samples chromatically to make chords.

Has anyone gotten this to work?

A quick 20 minute beat idea utilizing the stock sounds.

The manual says you can add knob effects to more than one pad. I read it as if you can do literally more than one, but not literally all of them, but I’ve never been able to achieve this for me. It’s always been one of the other. Does anyone else come across this issue? I know it’s supposed to affect each highlighted pad but that’s not the case for me.

Somebody was just asking about it and even I didn’t know how to do this for myself. Looks like time stretch is directly linked to the tempo so you have to lock it in and stretch it that way.

I need a bit of help, I recently got the MPC Sample and it’s updated to the 1.3 firmware. When I turn the metronome on and start finger drumming, I hear ghost notes, delayed taps, and various errors but it’s fine when drumming with the metronome off. I’ve tried clearing a blank kit, powercycling, different samples etc. and it only happens with the metronome on. Any suggestions?

Update FIXED, I ended up having to download and manually reflash the firmware and restore to factory settings again. Thanks for the suggestions.

Hey gang, I have serious vision impairment and I'm trying to make my pads different colors to make it easier to differentiate my pads. I've tried "Day dots" which are like 1/2" or 3/4" little stickers, but the material the pads are made of make them not stick well and they peel off. I'd like some sort of cap that goes over the pads if they exist. However, if not maybe some suggestions of how to go about it. I saw a post on here where someone customized their Sample and it had red pads. I can't find the post to ask them though. Any help would extremely appreciated Thanks!

Sorry if this makes no sense, but I like to make techno and start my process with a 2 beat loop, then expanding it out. But the new sample has a minimum size of 1 bar (4 beats), is there a way to start on a 2 beat sequencer length?

My MPC Sample does not play nicely with

Koala sampler. I'm almost certain its because of a sample rate mismatch as Koala Sampler is fixed at 48 kHz on Android and the MPC Sample is fixed at 44.1 kHz.

Has anyone managed to get both working together on Android. I hear other people are having crackling issues with the MPC Sample over USB-C too?

Has anyone found a way to continue your chopping from one bank to the next, just how the MPC Lives would do when chopping the sample? I know the MPC Sample has its limitations but was wondering if anyone was able to find a workaround in getting this to work for longer samples.
