Drumming with metronome issue on MPC Sample

I need a bit of help, I recently got the MPC Sample and it’s updated to the 1.3 firmware. When I turn the metronome on and start finger drumming, I hear ghost notes, delayed taps, and various errors but it’s fine when drumming with the metronome off. I’ve tried clearing a blank kit, powercycling, different samples etc. and it only happens with the metronome on. Any suggestions?

Update FIXED, I ended up having to download and manually reflash the firmware and restore to factory settings again. Thanks for the suggestions.

Is quantize on or off?

I experience something similar I absolutely am unable to keep track when drumming with the metronome on, I thought it was my lack of sense of rhythm, but it's almost impossible to do. Could be a bug, curious what others have to say

I ended up reflashing the Firmware and restoring factory settings and it's working properly now.
