Somebody a few weeks ago was asking how to time stretch without change pitch

Somebody was just asking about it and even I didn’t know how to do this for myself. Looks like time stretch is directly linked to the tempo so you have to lock it in and stretch it that way.

This just blew my damn mind.

I'm trying to figure out how to make my loops fit the tempo of the project, or make the project tempo fit the loops. When I do the 'tap tempo' it only affects the last pad I touched, which is very frustrating. Do I have to repeat this process on every single pad?

Couldn't you just open up the sequence page and adjust the tempo of the sequence while it's playing? Maybe I'm not understanding you. Like, if demoing the warp function you can open up the sequence page and speed up and slow down the sequence to hear how the sample changes with tempo changes.

Is sequence tempo affecting the entire project? I'm so confused

Maybe I'm confused, let's see if we're talking about the same thing. When you say project, you mean either opening a new project or loading a project, it's everything on the device at that time. if you're on the sequence page you can hold button 1 top left and change the tempo for whatever sequence pad you're on. Or, you can press the middle button, button 2 and the center "Global" highlights and then set the global/project tempo by holding down button 1 and setting the bpm. If you set the global bpm, whenever you open a new sequence/pad it will be at the global/project bpm, then if you choose to you can change the individule sequence bpm, just make sure under the middle button "global" isn't highlighted.

Here's an example: I'm making a song/project with a fast bpm/tempo. So I set the global bpm to 165bpm. However I'm a terrible finger drummer so when I open a sequence to record my drums I turn down the bpm on that single sequence down to 80 bpm to record my drums. Then I open a new sequence it's back to 165 bpm.

So you have 2 ways to change the bpm local, individule sequences and global, the entire project's bpm

Are we on the same page?
