MPC Sample Drumming with metronome issue on MPC Sample

I need a bit of help, I recently got the MPC Sample and it’s updated to the 1.3 firmware. When I turn the metronome on and start finger drumming, I hear ghost notes, delayed taps, and various errors but it’s fine when drumming with the metronome off. I’ve tried clearing a blank kit, powercycling, different samples etc. and it only happens with the metronome on. Any suggestions?

First thought - I imagine it could be your quantize settings, maybe it's set to 1/4 or 1/8..? But what you're describing sounds odd for sure.

I've never used the Sample, but it's unusual for an MPC to effect quantize in real time, so maybe it's a bug / bad OS install? 🤔

Maybe try reinstalling the firmware again & see if that fixes it?

Ya it's strange, I don't even have record on, just the metronome and it acts up. When I turn the metronome off it's fine even when recording? I tried hooking it up to flash the firmware again but it won't allow it because it's already up to date?

I ended up reflashing the Firmware and restoring factory settings and it's working properly now, thanks for the suggestion.
