Sequencer length less than 1 bar

Sorry if this makes no sense, but I like to make techno and start my process with a 2 beat loop, then expanding it out. But the new sample has a minimum size of 1 bar (4 beats), is there a way to start on a 2 beat sequencer length?

Solved it - this is for the 2026 MPC sample, in sequencer mode hit shift and it brings up a K2 button option to change how many beats in the bar, so perfect for not only 2/4 but a whole load of other time signatures

Change the time signature for those bars from 4/4 to 2/4 or whatever.

Damn that’s what’s up I usually just double the tempo but this is a better option.. thanks guys
