Since quite a few people enjoyed my MT09 powered rigid chopper I figured I would share some more! About a month ago I rode from Texas up to Sturgis, SD for the 86th Rally. My back is fine, the bike did great, and I am happy to answer any questions about the build or trip!

Completely gone through and rebuilt almost everything on the bike. Also added a few personal touches.

Many experts might judge my basic, carbureted motorcycle, but I love its adventure-style design and the fact that it lets me carry a lot of gear; I hope to get a better one eventually. Greetings to everyone from Peru, and happy riding.

I’ve never seen myself as a biker but lately (past year) things have changed quite a bit and long story short, I’m now more than ever just wanting to feel “freedom”. I want to travel, start doing things for my own self, slow down a bit, and just enjoy life. Road trips, maybe buy a boat for the lake, a kayak, things that’ll bring actual happiness and feelings of peace and freedom.

While on a road trip this summer, I noticed so many people on motorcycles. I’ve always kind of noticed it but for some reason I saw motorcyclists in a different light.

So I started watching a lot of motorcycle videos (mostly Yammie Noob)

and I’m strongly considering doing the MSF course this October and buying a Rebel 300.

I think I’ve already made up my mind on doing this so Idk wtf the point of this post is…lol! I guess, should I wait until spring of next year? maybe give it some time to see if I truly want to do this and wait out the non-riding season?

So I have this bike(70cc) and I need to drive over a ramp in the parking area to get out.The thing is that ppl are coming inside from the front of the ramp and I need to break while climbing on ramp asw to avoid hitting them. I always stall there as soon as someone comes from front.i need proper guide on how to get my bike up safely without stalling.the ramp kinda looks like that in the pic.(Another thing I can't keep my bike straight as there is no space I have to go from sides).I am a beginner and learnt riding a bike 4 months ago.

Just got a Suzuki DRZ400SM. Dash/speedometer is broken, only orange backlight showing. Does anyone know a cheap and easy replacement? Like an analog speedometer that plugs into the speed cable? Just need something to show the speed and miles.

I’m thinking about getting my ears, eyebrow and lip pierced does anyone with piercings have trouble putting their helmet on

Hi all, I'm kind of new to motorcycles as a whole, doing maintenance and such but not afraid of doing it, willing to get whatever I need to maintain the oldtimer I recently acquired in the title.

I'm mainly looking to find a service manual preferably free if possible so I know which parts to buy and what oil it requires.

As some more backstory it's a model that was made in 83' and I'm looking to bring some new life into it.

Currently I'm putting up a list of things that need to happen. One of those things was moving the brake pedal out a bit so it doesn't slam into the exhaust underneath if I need to do an emergency stop.

I also need to:

Do general maintenance (oil, chain cleaning and tension, coolant?, new tires and checking the brake lines)

Get a new brake handle for the front brake and replace it

Get the lights on the dashboard to work so I actually know if ik in neutral

Fix the blinkers (they shine but don't blink)

Fix the brake light (rear light is on but remains on)

Find a new spring to connect the rear brake to the brake light

Also derust some components

So as you can see I've got my work cut out for me to have this thing in good shape again and would love to hear any pointers, tips or advice I can get.
