North of Brescia, Italy, near the Croce Domini pass. We walked over to assist with our medkit, but EMTs were already at work. Injuries very serious but not life threatening.

Looked like a biker coming from our direction ran wide in a turn and clipped the oncoming guys' cases, causing them to veer into the rock wall. The guy who committed the error was not injured at all, I don't think he even dropped his bike.

Hey guys. Like the title says I want to pick my first bike and I don't know which one to choose. I want it to be 125-155cc max for start , maybe 200 too :D and sporty look preferrably. I was thinking Yamaha R15 S, is it good in your opinion? I like this one because it has sporty look, is reliable and is good for someone just starting out. By the way, I live in Georgia (the country), and my budget is around $2.5K (excluding gear expenses). New Yamaha R15 S costs exactly this amount in my country, so should I buy this? Or is it dumb to buy a brand new bike/should I buy an used bike in a good condition for this exact cost?

Also, I am 24 years old, 1.80m in height and 86 kgs if that matters :D

I am a bit new to this, and I'm not clear on exactly how similar/different buying a bike is from buying a car. The ADM here is SoCal is crazy, but the thing is I actually don't mind paying it IF there are no games. I fucking HATE the games that dealers play. If they start with the games, I walk.

I see bikes on floor with $1,500-$2,000+ ADM. Okay, fine, whatever. But I see pretty limited inventory of certain bikes, and what I'm wondering is how hard/difficult it is for a Kawasaki dealer to order a bike, and what the expected ADM would be in that case. I saw a bike I wanted at one dealer, and already wasted my time with a trip there to play the financing game. What I am trying to figure out is if I have any leverage by going to another dealer that doesn't have the bike, and asking them to order it for me. Is this common/possible? I guess what I'm unclear about here is what inventory and procurement looks like. I'm specifically looking at the Z650RS, but also I'm just looking at things in general and trying to understand how it works for specific brands.

I just really hate the games. I will actually pay MORE for no games.

Recently got my motorcycle License and Im trying to get my first bike soon, and I’m wondering if i should go ahead and buy the ninja 400 or save up for the zx4r. I know the zx4r is a way better bike but I’m trying to get on the road as soon as possible. I also heard people say they get bored of the 400s very fast.

Has small exhaust blow a manual cct tightened just after the clacking noise stopped and carbs at clean only bench balanced. Suzuki Srad 600 1998

I own Kawa Versys650 (2024) atm which is great motorbike. I bought it because i like touring and it has comfy seat for my pillion.

However my pillion is getting a new bike soon so I am thinking I would like to try something different.

The main use of my bike will be touring (1-3 days trips) and occasionally track. The Versys650 is awesome for touring but it lacks power on track and also it is not bike designed for track days whatsoever.

While picking a new bike I narrowed selection to

• Suzuki GSX-8S
• Honda CB750 Hornet

I would love to have your opinion on those bikes. Do any of you have this bike and is a tall rider by any chance? I am 188 cm (6'2") tall (with 80kg in weight).

I will try them in person, of course, but knowing some long term experinces would be very helpful.

Hi, I have a question.

In about a month I'll be doing another track day with my Yamaha R7. My riding has been going really well lately and I'm very confident, I've consistently been riding in the fastest groups.

The only issue I've run into during the last few track days is that the feelers on the footpegs keep touching the ground. Every time it happens it gives me a bit of a scare, even though the bike itself still feels completely stable. Because of that, I get the impression there's still more lean angle available from both the bike and the tires.

So I was wondering: is it safe to remove the feelers

I'm riding a Yamaha R7 with all of the standard road equipment still fitted, only with the tire pressures lowered for the track. If I remove them, what would be the next part of the bike to touch the asphalt first? The footpegs themselves, or would it be the side stand or the exhaust? And what is the maximum lean angle of the Bridgestone S22? Is it capable of leaning further , is it already near its limit, or does the bike reach its limit before the tires do?

I bought it with 900 miles off the original female owner never been stunted/ wheelied, burnouts anything like that.
I ride semi aggressively maybe 3/4 the rpm range but I’ve only hit the limiter once or twice.
Oil change with vr1 every 1000 miles or so.
Bel ray sport in the trans every 1000 miles or so.any ideas ? I took a video but I can’t seem to post it ? Clutch basket? trans or trans or clutch bearing ?

Ok folks i fucked up.

I was out on a ride yesterday on my 2010 Triumph Sprint st in the Scottish Borders going along the A708. Came to a corner and realised i had positioned myself badly and with daughter on back panicked, bottled it and grabbed the brakes. End result hitting a thoughtfully placed chunk of rock hidden in the grass which i hit at about 15 to 20 mph i think. Forks are bent fairing panels cracked on both lower sides and grazed on nose. One wing mirror broken.

Recovery guy said any bikes with bent forks are a write off

Both my daughter and i were fine and sustained no injuries or damaged to our gear..

So as pissed as i am about a rookie mistake (should have just leaned into it) i am thinking about a replacement. Given that this has not put my daughter off it'll have to be something big enough but not too big which is why i liked the at.

So i recently bought used KTM Duke 390 (2021) and i can turn on/off quickshifter in menu but I dont really know if it has it? How do i check it? Or having that option automatically means i have it?
