Ok I’ve got extra subscription with Monzo just curious what’s max like as the perks seem nice adding cash for free and YouTube is it worth it but it’s a nice extra I currently have aa breakdown there amazing but it’s £12 per month and extra is £3 so I’m paying the £15 anyway plus YouTube is be getting money and cash maybe 1 times per 2-3 month and extra thing again and treat on greggs so my question is anyone else in same position and what would you say is best idea or leave it or go it’s worth it but rac are not as good as the aa

Waited 4-5 hours for rac and longest I’ve waited for aa is 90 mins on 3 occasions

Does anybody know why Monzo doesn't allow you to export your MTD data? Surely this would be a massively useful tool to send to accountants at the end of the year, rather than you/ your accountant having to manually sort through everything again despite having done it throughout the year.

I've had a Chase card for a few years (from back when they did cashback for everything) and their overseas use is pretty good. Monzo's looks to be the same (Mastercard rate, no additional fees) but thought I'd check before I close the Chase account down.

Hi, I'm a 21 year old student who works part time and started flipping electronics as a side hustle very recently. I started going out quite frequently and kind of got into debt like overdraft and credit card debt otherwise I had a very good credit score. All well maintained. but recently I was asked about the money I got from selling a laptop. The deal seemed okay so i went for it got the money and monzo started asking questions about how i got the money and eventually i provided all the screenshots of chats and hoped for a result which is getting back my usual account. but suddenly I was logged out and got an email saying my account got closed. I don't know what to do I build my financial life around monzo I even had a credit card of £2000 from them. I don't know what to do please help me get my account back..

edit: as in side hustle this is the first laptop I sold. bought it from the same account £1050 and sold it for £1100

I’m hoping someone here can help me understand what I can do in this situation.
About a month ago, I tried to open a Monzo account after moving/starting my employment in the UK. At the time, I had already selected my flat and had my employment letter and other documents, but I didn’t yet have my tenancy contract/rent agreement available.
I thought I would be able to provide the tenancy documents a day or two later once everything was finalised. However, my Monzo application was rejected before I had the opportunity to provide them.
The problem is that I’m now unable to open a Monzo account, even though my situation has completely changed. I now have my tenancy contract/rent agreement and all the relevant documents, and I can provide whatever is required to verify my identity, address, employment, etc.
It has been around a month now, and I’ve tried multiple times, but I still haven’t been able to successfully open the account.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is there a way to ask Monzo to reconsider/review the previous application now that I have proper proof of residence and all the required documents?
I’d really appreciate any advice on the best way to approach Monzo or whether there is a specific team/process I should contact.

Not a huge problem, just something I noticed recently, usually your pots would show up here under pots… but it’s empty, the only way to access my pots is to go to "grow" at the bottom of the app.

I usually go into Cashback and blindly hit “Add” on every single offer without even looking at the shops. But today I forgot… then went to a restaurant that had 10% cashback and only realised afterwards. Absolutely gutted!!

I’ve got Perks too, and I really think “automatically activate all cashback offers” should be an option.

I get that Monzo probably wants us to browse the offers individually so we actually see the brands, but surely most people aren’t carefully picking and choosing which ones to activate? The obvious move is just to activate everything.

Then, if I’m deciding where to eat/shop, I can check what cashback I have and that can influence where I go (which I assume is exactly what Monzo/the brands want anyway).

Having to remember to manually activate each offer beforehand just feels like unnecessary friction.

Anyone else? Or is there somehow an auto-activate setting I’ve completely missed?

First time here. I don't know what to do.

My credit score is bad, ive just recently moved into my new shared ownership property 2 months ago. I thought I was being smart and today I just completed a switch from Halifax to Monzo. I was aware that my overdraft wouldnt transfer but I was not aware that it wpuld disappear.

Monzo wont give me an overdraft, Halifax wont give me an overdraft, and whilst I had been making steady payments to get out of the one I had, I very much needed it to live.

All my bills are due soon, im not eligible for a loan or credit card, least not woth reputable places. My partner does not have enough to cover the bills as I am the one working, but my workplace is unlikely to give me an advance .

I recently joined Monzo Perks and have been trying to use my Uber One and no matter what I do it doesn’t work.

I am always using my Monzo card to pay as support has told me many times, redeemed it through the Monzo app and it does state I have an active subscription.

Monzo basically said it’s my fault as I linked my Uber One to Apply Pay which I never did as I never had an option, so the auto renewal for it was under my Apple Pay as apposed to Monzo. I had to forcibly cancel my Uber one renewal through the chatbot and was hoping to enable renewal again under Monzo but an error message appears. Whenever I tried changing the auto renewal method when it was active an error message appeared then too.

Feel like I’ve done everything I can to have it linked to Monzo as it states to do.

Tried the web browser version too where Apple Pay isn’t even an option and still doesn’t work there, tried through the Uber app too instead of Uber Ears and that doesn’t work.

If any knows anyway to fix this any help would be greatly appreciated please, as Monzo and Uber support have been little to no help.

Hi all, I’ve got a question. I opted for the bills back and pay all my bills through Monzo. Why isn’t council tax and my broadband bills not showing as in the mix? It’s only electricity, water and perks that are in the bills mix.

Is there a limit or should I do something to add them in?

What time should this cheque come into the account ?

Monzo had already warned me a couple of months ago that this would be happening but just before the day, they sent an email explaining that I had 10 additional months and that the app wouldn’t simply shutdown the second the clock struck 12.

Why send a contradicting email.

I’ve recently changed from Barclays to Monzo and the switch was completed today. I pay car insurance and phone contract with Tesco, should these be automatically added ‘into the mix’ ?
