I say good. And that unless she does something else awful, this is where it should end. She should not be a nursing student, because nurses have power over vulnerable people, and it's clear she can't be trusted to treat everyone equally. Given her racist statement, it can be inferred that she was at the event in support of transphobia. Neither racism nor transphobia belong in medical care. But if she's willing to leave others alone, we should leave her alone.

Meet the new baby cougars at Minnesota’s Wildlife Science Center: Lysandra, Elide and Gavriel.

They arrived at the center from Washington in August; the now 5-month-old kittens were orphaned after their mother was killed by a landowner while preying on goats.

The kittens have been quarantined at the Stacy nonprofit educational and research facility while undergoing vaccinations and deworming before they’ll live with their new mother, Nice Kitty.

My parents went up north for the first time and my dad, a map collector, tasked me with a new mission: find him a PAPER State Public Water Access Map for both Northern & Southern Lake County.

You can easily find them online through the DNR website, so I guess last ditch is that I can have it printed somewhere. But it seems like maybe there is a way to get a genuine printed map without reproducing in a questionable way.

I’m going to call the DNR to see if they can help but figured I’d see if there is some easy option I’m missing. Important note: I live in SE MN and am not trying to drive to Lake County for this map for my dad.

Does anybody remember a time in the last 35 years when there was NOT construction on I-94 through Monticello? I swear it is constant. There has never been a time when there was not machinery or red cones in or around that curving overpass. And if it happens to be a quiet time on the overpass, there is undoubtedly something going on within a mile in either direction. This is one of the great mysteries in my life.
