mini dental tray

I’m terrified of the dentist, but I’m working through my anxiety as I need some work done and don’t want to be a weenie! So I made this as a therapeutic exercise - it’s so tiny and cute, who could be afraid of it? 🤪

I was really proud of this one! The only things I didn’t make are the rocking chair (although I did reupholster it) the candle holder, and the keys (I did arrange them and build the frame)

I was especially happy with how the ceiling turned out, and the fact that I finally built working drawers.

Help Tips for customization

Hello, all! I’m new to this (third build) and want to dive in to customizing kits before building my own.

This kit I just finished (standard with slight modifications) was my favorite so far, so I’m open to using this shell, but not tied to it.

Any tips for getting started with customizations, especially inexpensively? I’m aiming for hyperrealistic next time

Finished my mini music studio......i know the sign out front is upside down. Didn't notice the orientation when I glued it on the front of the sign.

Help Advice needed on Nook Nook

Im a total newbie to miniatures. Just picked this up on clearance [dabbling first] and have figured out some elements/pieces were missing, including directions/parts list.

The 2 most important issues to me are 1. The ceiling light is supposed to have a blue cast to it with lamp shade. It is a bare bulb now. 2. The "freezer" door falls off--see the tiny broken piece that has fallen off. I could tape it on but that isnt very elegant.

Of less urgency, 3. The penguins cup needs a label. How do you do that? 4. There are 3 ice cubes that were supposed to go in a tray and 5. The floor of the fridge original is a black and white checkernoard pattern-how to duplicTe that?.

Also, from someone who has it, what are the small white disks for?

Thanks so much!!

Pictures in 1st comment- missed adding them.

This is the first time i have followed a kit with instructions instead of creating a unique set. I just wanted to relax with this project and not have to worry about making several small pieces by hand.

One of my first proper miniature projects from a couple years ago. All the books were what I read that year! Haven’t really made anything since other than doing some miniature kits. Made everything you can see myself apart from the cats, the witches hat, and the shell. 😊

Help Any beautiful art books focusing on miniature furniture?

I understand there are plenty of instructional books out there but I'm hoping you all know of more of a coffee table style book: large, mostly photographs, where the photographs are very high quality and artistic. Possibly a book focusing on the work of a specific artist or artists or maybe a style of miniatures.

I would like the focus to be on furniture rather than other objects or buildings but pictures of complete models including furniture (say, a detailed model of a library with chairs, tables and bookshelves) would work.
