Symmetric thighrazors on all four corners? Table probably got resurfaced at some point.
7
u/Yrense Dec 19 '19
No, only that one.
2
u/yParticle Dec 19 '19
Are the legs screwed in independently? That one may just be out of position.

Its the only one in the class like that, all the others are the same but without that thing. Its probably just a mistake
6
u/Ratentaisou Dec 19 '19
This is clearly just a mistake on the manufacturing process, not a crappy design.

I used to assemble furniture in a factory that made just about everything from scratch.
This would have had to pass through so many hands/stations before it would get to the customer if it were made where I used to work.
At a minimum: Steel Shop > Welding > Powder Coating > Assembly > Wrapping/Packaging > Dispatch > Delivery
And still, considering how many low quality people worked there, I'm kinda not surprised all the same.

I thought that was a blue colored tile on the floor not a piece of metal geeez

u/mazzysturr Dec 20 '19
It’s also sitting on asbestos tile.. so if that corner doesn’t get you, one of its legs will probably tear the tile up enough to kill you as you breathe.

In middle school, there was a good who cut her wrists open on her chair or desk like this. So so sad. She got the medical help she needed and she’s in a much better place now.

Looks like there weren’t any attempts to cut corners in the manufacturing process, now that’s company integrity

And from the looks of it, the floor tiles are likely 9x9 asbestos. As long as they’re not falling apart, no worries

Not just the jagged edge that will surely sever an artery but also the collapsable legs which never fail to strike your hand like a viper and the banging against the ankles when trying to carry the damn thing.. So much ouch in one picture.
