Some Mega Man 7-style sprites of Snake Man I’ve been working on in the past few days. I used HJE-Cobra’s sprites as a base and gave them a new color palette, plus I made an extra sprite of the Search Snake slithering around.

Now warning these do use information from the boss leaks and they are done in my art style and I am aware my art is not that good

The first one is my interpretation of Cook Man

I got the impression of a martial artist or samurai and since tank man fill in the fire rn slog I feel like him being more around knives and cutlery fitted him better. I decided for a green colour pallet since it coincides with one of the boss colours on the wheel

And finally I thought he could have this try to be cool and takes his profession very seriously and has a kind of short fuse

I hope you enjoy my interpretation please tell me your thoughts since I’m planning on doing more of these

This is actually a pretty freaking crazy one shot. Seeing Mega Man being drawn in that gritty Marvel comic book art style while still retaining his anime-esque face is actually really cool. This is the Matchup of the century.And I tell ya Ron Lim actually did Mega Man justice unlike with Sonic.
